A Study on the developing Character Contents for the making specialized regional culture - Centering on a development project of Characters in the city of Gwangju - (지역문화 특성화를 위한 캐릭터 개발에 관한 연구 - 광주광역시 캐릭터 개발 사례를 중심으로 -)

  • 예로부터 빛고을로 인식되었던 광주가 근세에 이르러 의병활동, 광주학생운동, 5\ulcorner18민주화운동, 아직도 끝나지 않은 이념전쟁으로만 비추어질 수도 있는 지역의 이미지를 재정립하고, 도시 경쟁력의 증대를 위한 방안으로 CI사업 추진계획을 수립하고 3개년에 걸쳐(1999~2001) CI전략 개발, CI디자인 개발, 문화상품 개발, 도시환경디자인 개발 등을 추진하였다. 최근 커뮤니케이션에 있어서 캐릭터는 정보의 시각화라는 측면에서 다른 그래픽 심볼에 비해 설득적이라 할 수 있고, 기존의 심볼의 이미지 보완적 보조심볼로서의 개념이 아닌 독자적인 영역이 구축되어야 하므로 광주광역시 캐릭터 개발은 Character Identity 차원에서 메인캐릭터와 이를 각각의 용도에 맞춰 응용전개시키는 이벤트 캐릭터, 브랜드캐릭터로 구분하여 유형에 따라 다르게 적용되어야 할 적용성 및 활용성에 중점을 두고 개발되었다. 광주광역시의 메인캐릭터 개발컨셉은 "빛"과 "생명"으로 결정된 TCI이념을 활용하는 것과 광주의 상징 요소로서 "무등산"을 활용하는 두 가지 방향에서 개발이 진행되었으며, 1999년 10월의 TCI 추진회의 1차선정을 시작으로 광주시민을 포함한 전국민 설문조사와 2000년 4월의 의회설명회에 이르기까지 다양한 방법을 통해 캐릭터 개발안에 대한 평가와 검토/수정과정을 거쳐 기본캐릭터를 완성하게 되었다. 이를 통해 본 광주광역시의 캐릭터는 중장기적으로 치밀하게 계획되고 실천되어야 하며 변화하는 환경에 효율적으로 대응하는 구체적이고 실천적인 연구평가와 접근방법에 대한 연구 등으로 그 지역의 특징적인 문화를 상품화시키려는 노력이 캐릭터개발을 토대로 뒤따라야 한다. 촉진, 중요 연구 주제의 도출 및 연구 진행 계획을 수립하고, 국제적 산학 협력 강화를 통해 공동 연구를 도출하는 자리를 마련함. $\textbullet$본 학술회의에서 발표된 논문들을 취합하여, 논문집 및 CD-ROM을 제작하여 세계적 수준의 연구 결과를 알리고 이 분야에 관련된 학문, 기술 발전에 큰 도움이 됨.emove effectively radioactivity with in Adsorbent.   • Expo is now firmly established as one of the top three world event, with Olympic and World Cup, which can be achieved a centralized investment of various contents in economy, technology, and culture and so on. Local government, in South Korea, actively has worked to hold Expo to revitalize the local economy and to increase the local identity since Daejeon World Expo in 1993. However, it is a fact that is hard to find Expo making good professional identity design system of Expo for lack of adequate understanding of the local community and government about design system. Accordingly, this study will suggest the promotion Expo along with the importance of character development, and the present status and analysis of Expo character which is essential to identity establishment of Expo and the core of the communication.

  • Being a symbolic image to let traditional 'mother wonlee' contents characters known widely, need to be made in a way that can deliver the powerful message of korea An-dong traditional local contents and the value of regent story. As for the contents character develope methods and the scope of the study, an theoretical study was conducted based on literature review, and, factor plus fiction field surveys, and the legend story and then an effect of character marketing on global contents with original identity. 'mother wonlee' pre-production plaining have been analysis with creative described based on the ancients features and the classification of ancient original characters, and the situation and the concept of An-dong local place. as a results this thesis is show up how to make up a main character develop processing and make a features design processing of the characters who different age and a scenes. as a conclusion is drawing about a 'Wonlee' and 'Eungtea' both main Character plaining processing and graphics; traditional face, all clothes, body proportion, etc. Also we trade to traditional patten with character planing. it will be a high value industry which facilitates a variety of industries in conjunction with marketing traditional source characters in global. Recognizing the value of traditional story main character design and graphics marketing and utilizing the value through various media will create infinite value, enabling the global marketing.

  • In this paper, based on the production technology and infrastructure of local cultural contents, it is determined that reconstruction and commercialization of local culture resources are necessary due to absence of character brand products centered on storytelling. It is expected to contribute to the expansion of the supply of advanced ceramic products along with the foundation of various contents production as it becomes the foundation to establish the developed business base through the differentiation strategy of the character product development based on the storytelling. In addition, due to the manual production, only a small amount of production can be produced and the production period is lengthened. On the other hand, the production period of gypsum mold is shortened by making mock-up through 3D program and 3D printing, It was effective in developing a wide variety of pottery products.

  • Over the past decade, the number of national geoparks has rapidly increased, and 13 areas are currently designated as geoparks. After Jeju Island (2010), Cheongsong (2017), Mudeungsan (2018), and Hantangang River (2020) National Geoparks were listed as UNESCO Global Geoparks. Despite the continuous increase in the number of national geoparks and UNESCO global geoparks, the public interest in geoparks and the effect of regional economic development by geoparks are not yet very significant. Some geopark management organizations have developed geopark characters to appeal to the public through intimacy and friendliness, utilizing parks for education and tourism. However, the characters are not being utilized properly due to a lack of plannings, expertise, storytelling, and management. For geopark characters, which have been neglected since development, to perform their original roles, content production based on appropriate budget compilation and analysis of consumption trends in the character market is necessary. Instead of merely using geopark characters, geopark characters should be loved by the public, as well as local residents.

  • In Kyung-GI DO, An-sung, Each local autonomous entity developed the character design to inform the public relations and revitalize local economy and culture. consequently, These have got benefits with marketing local speciality related to their an-sung character; we call it name is arum, pung-mul, duck-bugi who korea traditional face characters. On the contrary, Most of old characters which have been fallen off their formative qualities became a reason that unfit (4D,3D) special film at local doom movie theater. This thesis aims to study on the character of 'namsadang' group what have been produced in ansung-si, that the show up to people about an-sung 4D Contents what local actually character and to make it more competitive through 3D,4D spacial character project developing process. It is need for new various characters, that (3D,4D-VFX) -Graphics of new an-sung'namsadang' group. that will be total different and new development. total VFX; 4-Dimantion visual graphics released in next an-sung local festival, Business prospects are bright and receiving benefits are increasing. As seen in the case of the character of in 2015, it can be a measure to earn benefits as a higher value-added business if it is managed in the local autonomous entities. In this thesis, I propose what the of character in the local special graphics; VFX style characters design. also I was show up to '4D contents character;' ; 'namsadang' group; creative processing including planing. It is possible to be ranged from special 4D series animation, a feature-length special effct cartoon film, character products, and even local doom Theme parks show up film. which are all expected high profits. These profits will be returned back to the an-sung local autonomous entity, who can use them to develop new contents, one of foundations in local economy. As a result, it is helpful to make local traits and effective tourist attractions.

  • The purpose of this paper is to express intangible cultural heritage through game character designs, and to inherit and spread intangible cultural heritage in a new way. This paper will analyze how the characters in the mobile game "King of Glory" creatively design the intangible cultural heritage "Guangdong Lion Dance". Extract the cultural symbols of intangible cultural heritage into the game character design, and spread the characters online and offline. Through the digital dissemination of "Guangdong Lion Dance" through the game "King of Glory", the relevant influence of intangible cultural heritage cultural symbol dissemination in current digital games is explored.

  • This study examined the relative industry competence of Kyunggi regional area. The LQ index was applied to estimate the competence of 11 culture contents. In the case of the amount of revenue, cartoon, characters, knowledge information, and publishing showed a relative high competence over LQ 1.0. Regarding the number of companies, cartoon, music, game, character, and knowledge information showed LQ of more than 1.0. The criteria of the number of employees indicated publishing, cartoon, game, character industry to be significant. The common LQ index result of 3 criteria suggested cartoon and character industry to be influential. This indicates that the flow among knowledge, information and person in a regional industry cluster are most important for promoting industry core competence.

  • 게임 인공지능에서 경로 찾기는 매우 중요한 분야이다. 캐릭터나 NPC(Non Player Charater)가 목적지까지의 경로를 탐색하기 위해서는 복잡하게 구성된 게임 맵에서 오브젝트나 벽 등의 장애물을 회피하면서 가능한 최단 경로를 찾아야 한다. 기존의 일반적인 경로 찾기 알고리즘은 캐릭터의 움직임이 자유로운 간단한 게임 맵에서는 전역 최소해 탐색이 가능하다. 그러나 다양한 오브젝트 등이 배치된 큰 규모의 게임 맵에서는 캐릭터가 목적지까지의 경로를 탐색하는 과정에서 지역 최소해(Local Minima)로의 수렴이 발생함으로써 이를 탈피하는 것이 어렵고, 결국에는 목적지까지 도달하지 못하는 상황이 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 기존 경로 찾기 알고리즘의 단점을 해결하기 위해 시뮬레이티드 어닐링 알고리즘을 제안하였다.
