  • Most companies operate their business unit by products which occupy mostly their sales or can increase their sales. The evaluation of business units is very important part to check the market position of its business, the value of investment and business diversification. This paper applies 5 game flat forms to Korean game industry at base on GE model which can evaluate business unit with market merit and competitive advantage in market. the result of study indicates that main flat form and the other flat form distribute diversely, and can determine the time for the new product development, the flat form of main investment and marketing strategy.

  • The study investigated how did Credu pioneer Korean e-Learning market and reinforce their core competencies and how did they promote business diversification analyzing type of learning motives and examining Credu real cases. Under the fierce competition in the current e-Learning market, Credu has maintained their core competencies and strengthened an active communication channels with customers with focusing on investment to core businesses. Credu has introduced more adventurous and challenging products and services with creating a new model for the types of learning motives. This study could introduce the new perspective about the type of learning motives in e-Learning area. Also, the case study of successful e-Learning company, Credu, could contribute to make more spread e-Learning market techniques in this field in practice.

  • The purpose of this paper is to analyze the structural relationship of the impact on the business performance when it pursues resource based production strategies, nurtures core competency, develops core product lines and innovate its business models as part of a strategy of value innovation and to validate how the nurturing core competency can have an impact on the execution of the value innovation strategies. This paper confirms that there is a structural relationship, which is logically and conceptually valid, among the core competence, value innovation strategies and business performance of manufacturing companies. In order to maximize the business performance which is the eventual objective of a company, it must strategically nurture its core competence, which will be a main driver of the future competitiveness and diversify its management based on the value innovation strategies.

  • Writing instruments or pens have many features not commonly found in other products in terms of their structure and characteristics of use. That is, different pens are usually composed of almost identical parts and/or structure. The fact they work always grabbed in hands considered, the ergonomic design of pens is essential. Reports indicate consumers evaluate pens in writing comfort above all other factors when they select pens. Among various factors related to writing comfort, it shouldspecifically be the ergonomic improvements that design can effectively contribute to. Studies on the pen-grabbing comfort or on approaches based on the understanding of human-work relationships generally lack when compared with fashion-conscious aesthetic approaches to pen design. This paper, therefore, aims to reestablish the ergonomic design criteria including the necessities of specifications required to provide indispensable data for the pen design processes. Consequently, it should produce basic set of information for systematic approach to pen design and development, which is commonly called'concurrent engineering'. Also a cost-effective solution for product diversification strategy could be attributed to a modular system database based on the result of this attempt.

  • 자동판매기 시장의 부진은 사업 아이템에 대한 심각한 고민을 수반하기 마련이다. 정통 자판기가 부진을 보이는 상황에서 그래도 유관아이템을 찾아 사업 다각화를 꾀해가는 것도 난세를 생존해 가는 비결이다. 이런 측면에서 최근 식품영업용기기에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다, 식품영업용기기란 자동판매기처럼 완전자동은 아니지만 반자동형태로 기계를 통해 사람이 조리 식품을 만들어주는 기계이다. 기계를 통해 간편하게 만들 수 있다는 측면에서는 자판기 시스템에 해당된다고 할 수 있고, 사람이 재료를 넣고 반자동으로 이용한다는 점에서 자판기와 차이가 있다. 예를 들어 슬러시, 소프트아이스크림기, 팝콘자동기, 솜사탕제조기, 와플기기, 뻥튀기기기 등의 품목을 들 수 있다. 이들 아이템은 자판기에 비해 상대적으로 적은 비용을 투자해 '샵 인 샵' 형태로 영업을 진행하며 수익을 강화할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 최근 자판기 시장은 부진한 반면 상대적으로 식품영업용기기 시장이 늘고 있다는 사실은 주목해야 할 부분이다. 반자동이라고 해도투자부담이 낮고, 실용적인 아이템에 대한 가치가 상승하고 있는 것이다. 일반식품자판기 분야를 놓고 보면 식품영업용기기기가 경쟁자이자 상호 공생의 관계에 있다 할 수 있다. 일반식품자판기의 상품화 방향에 있어 식품영업용기기의 실용적인 장점은 취하고, 반자동의 한계를 보완한다면 시장성이 지금보다는 좋아 질 수 있을 것이다. 이런 점에서 볼 때 식품영업용기기 시장 추이에도 관심을 가져야 한다. 그런데 식품영업용기기도 주기적인 트렌드에 의해 인기를 끄는 제품이 달라진다. 지난해에는 와플기와 팝콘자동기가 인기를 끌었었다. 와플기는 간단하게 간식거리를 만들어 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 '샵 인 샵' 아이템으로 인기를 모았다. 이러한 동향 탓에 와플기의 시장경쟁도 치열해 지고, 좀 더 새로운 제품에 대한 니즈 역시 커지고 있다. 이번에 소개할 다원푸드의 웰빙 찰보리 와플기는 기존 와플기와는 재료와 방식에 있어 완전 차별화를 한 제품이다. 건강지향의 니즈에 맞게 찰보리를 재료로 했고, 와플형태도 스틱방식으로 마든 제품도 있어 먹기에도 편하게 했다. 과연 이 찰보리 와플기가 와플시장의 새로운 돌풍을 일으킬 수 있을까?

  • 기업의 생산성 향상과 비용절감, 그리고 세계화로 표현되는 거래다각화를 위해 각 기업은 앞다투어 기업간 전자거래시스템을 도입하고 있다. 철강산업에 속한 기업들도 예외는 아니어서 원부자재의 구매나 철강제품의 판매분야에 인터넷 전자거래시스템을 도입하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 전자거래시스템에 의해 각 기업들은 e-marketplace를 중심으로 기업간의 상품정보를 공유하고, 가상공간에서 사이버거래를 성사시키며 거래 후 계약이행에 이르기까지 각종 업무를 인터넷을 통해 처리하게 될 것이다. 하지만 현재까지 국내에 구축된 수많은 기업간 전자거래시스템은 데이터의 표준화 부재로 인해 실질적인 효과를 나타내지 못하고 있다. 즉, 전자거래에 참여하는 각 기업이 정보의 공유나 교환에 의한 전자거래 효과를 전혀 얻지 못하고 있는 것이다. 이러한 측면에서 거래 데이터나 컨텐츠의 표준화는 기업간 전자거래 인프라의 측면에서 그 무엇보다 중요한 사항이라 볼 수 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 진행중인 철강산업 MRO(Maintenance, Repair, Operations)자재 표준화 프로젝트의 추진방향 및 문제점과 해결방안에 대해 간단히 소개하고자 한다.

  • It has shown that the investment on the new products have a direct influence on the price of manufactured goods. This brings about a point, which has been a common problem for many Korean enterprises. That is Korean products can only its international competitiveness from the price, not quality. Our industry has shown its movement from producing cheap, low quality products to creating somewhat more advanced and higher qualify products. However the industry cannot avoid the financial burden from the investment. Just like the title of this article, for existing the 3D-MODELING, the 3D-CAD is existed first has immediate effect on the many developing processes, such as planning a product, designing, and producing. The development of the furniture design in the future will be done in the same way as this article presents. This will have a great effect on the overall productivity. (Time, cost, efficiency and etc). The simulation experiment on this article is based on the idea of development of industry, forms the immediate constituent for the prediction related to the production development, marketing and the trend. Which means, this will play an important part where companies achieve satisfaction from the marketing part and the economy.

  • The objective of this case is to introduce KT&G's marketing strategy to go beyond its crisis. KT&G's crisis has started from tobacco which is its cash cow. Tobacco has been criticized as one of cancer causes. Until now Go and NGO suppress smoking. Its crisis is non-smoking. To live and grow beyond this crisis KT&G has 4 marketing strategies. First, they introduce new product tobacco by segmenting smoking market. Second, they want to get strong brand which has high quality, price premium, and favorable image. Third, they try to connect tobacco and bio-industry. Tobacco is very important resources of bio-industry. Finally, they is going to enter well-being market by its strength which is ginseng.

  • The application of tool which has grown rapidly by the age was used for the product development, however as today the computer digitalization has been fixed to the necessary process in every factory-made mass production, making the sensitive desire of designer the digitalization through systematic, rational information database building from the planning level of product to the final mass production in such a environment change. It should satisfy a variety of needs of consumer. The enterprise that hopes to get a winner in the present age brought in computer with useful tool to process information efficiently. The computer has displayed much more excellent computation ability than human to come up to their expectation and the growth of electronic technology was possible to make the computer's high-efficiency, economy and integration. No matter what we have a good economy and integration. No matter what we have a good information there is no meaning unless we are able to use it' so we should take it out by the our need. Therefore, this paper observes a future-oriented possibility of computer & Telecommunication in information society, information-oriented design environment and the trends of minimal and integrated computer. We will improve the designer's ability to develop a novel product that have the diversification of them using application, aiming at computer utilization and image identification design strategy of product in the age of network telecommunication.
