A Study on the Structural Relationships among Physical Environment of Coffee Shops, Brand Image and Revisit Intention : Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Emotional Responses (커피전문점의 물리적 환경, 브랜드 이미지 및 재방문의도 간의 구조관계 연구 : 고객 감정반응의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships among physical environment of coffee shops, brand image and revisit intention and to analyze the moderating effects of emotional responses. The results of this study are as follows: First, among physical environment, spatiality, cleanliness, comfortability and attractiveness had significant influences on brand image. Second, physical environment had significant influences on revisit intention. Third, brand image had significant influences on revisit intention. Fourth, emotional responses had moderating effects in the relationship between attractive factor and brand image. Finally, the conclusion section suggested strategic implications to induce physical environment, brand image, revisit intention and emotional responses based on the research findings.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of destination mood and tourist's mood state on the relationship between tourism memory and revisit intention focusing on the psychological approach. The number of subjects for the research is 301 visitors enjoying tourist destinations in Gyeongju and Jeju. This study employs path analysis offered by the AMOS 28 statistical program to analyze the mediating effects of destination mood and tourists' mood states. The path analysis shows that tourism experience positively influences tourism memory, tourism memory positively affects revisit intention, and there are mediating effects of Destination mood and tourist's mood state on the relationship between tourism memory and revisit intention.

  • This study aims to examine how attendees' motivation of convention & exhibition visitors on their satisfaction, revisit and recommendation intention. It is also another goal of this study to provide strategic materials through making out preventive measures against the convention & exhibition. To accomplish the goals, a field survey was conducted on the visitors of the COEX in Seoul area. The results of this study, based on a positive analysis, could be summarized as follows. First, the knowledge seek, friendly relations, deviation ure and area characteristic turned out to have affirmative effects on convention & exhibition visitors on their satisfaction. Second, the knowledge seek, friendly relations and area characteristic turned out to have affirmative effects on convention & exhibition visitors on their revisit intention. Third, the knowledge seek, friendly relations and deviation ure turned out to have affirmative effects on convention & exhibition visitors on their recommendation intention. Fourth, the satisfaction turned out to have affirmative effects on their revisit and recommendation intention.

The Effect of the Physical Environment on the Customer Satisfaction, Revisit Intention, and Word of Mouth Intention in Japanese Restaurants (일식전문점의 물리적 환경이 고객만족, 재방문의도, 구전의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of physical environment of Japanese restaurant on customer satisfaction, revisit intention and word of mouth intention. For this purpose, data were collected from 341 adult males and females who had used Japanese restaurants in Daegu. SPSS program frequency analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. Through the factor analysis, the physical environment of the Japanese specialty restaurant was identified as a component of comfort, aesthetics, and convenience. As a result of the multiple regression analysis, the three components of the physical environment have positive effects on customer satisfaction, return visit intention, and word of mouth intention. The results of regression analysis showed that customer satisfaction had a positive effect on revisit and word of mouth intention. Through the results of this study, we confirmed the physical and environmental impacts of the specialty restaurants and suggested the practical and theoretical implications.

  • This study aims to examine how convention & exhibition visitors perceived value on their satisfaction, revisit and recommendation intention. To accomplish the goals, a field survey was conducted on the visitors of the COEX in Seoul area. The results of this study, based on a positive analysis, could be summarized as follows. First, perceived value is factorized as acquisition value, emotional value, monetary value, social value. Second, all factor of perceived value turned out to have affirmative effects on hotel employee's visitors satisfaction. Third, visitors satisfaction turned out to have affirmative effects on revisit intention. Forth, visitors satisfaction turned out to have affirmative effects on recommendation intention.

  • Domestic and foreign tourists to visit the Baekdudaegan are increasing every year. The purpose of this study is to promote regional development in the Baekdudaegan and to improve the satisfaction of the people who visit the Baekdudaegan area recognized in underdeveloped area. It surveyed the age of 19 years old. Analysis of the factors of selection attributes importance and satisfaction, and the group was separated through cluster analysis. It analyzed a significant difference in the degree of revisit intention and intention of recommendation by cluster groups. They were divided into four groups, according to the selection attributes importance and satisfaction. Groups showed significant differences in the degree of revisit intention and intention of recommendation. The environment elements importance and satisfaction have affected revisit intention and intention of recommendation. It has found out that environment elements have an important factor in selecting the destination and these selection attributes satisfactions have a positive influence on future behavior intention.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among marketing mix, constraints, and consumers' revisiting intentions in screen sport theme parks. For this purpose, a survey was given to a convenience sample of 253 customers of screen sport theme parks located in the Seoul and Dae-gu metropolitan cities in South Korea. The data were then analyzed using frequency statistics, correlations, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, the marketing mix had a significant effect on the constraints of customers in screen sport theme parks. Second, the marketing mix had a significant effect on the revisiting intentions of customers in screen sport theme parks. Third, intrapersonal constraints alone had a significant effect on the revisiting intentions of customers in screen sport theme parks.

  • This research has analyzed the influence of information search on festival image, emotional response, re-visit intention and intention to share information. Image of festival was assumed to be composed of three components of cognitive, affective and unique image. Emotional response was divided into positive and negative emotion. As the results of influence analysis, word of mouth-effect and online media such as SNS had a significant effect on unique image of the festival. whereas official homepage showed a significant impact on cognitive image. Among three factors of image, affective image had a great influence on positive emotion. as three image factors are associated with positive emotion. Also, Affective emotion was analyzed to have significant influence on re-visit intention and intention to share information.

  • This study looks into different life styles of Chinese FITs and how their life styles might cause differences in tourist satisfation, intention of revisiting and recommendation. Based on the analyses of the life styles of Chinese FITs who visited Korea, the final result concluded 27 questions and 5 causes. In total, 6 hypotheses were accepted through confidence analysis, correlational analysis of variables, life style cluster analysis and analysis of differences between life style clusters. So the study expects to make a positive contribution, providing useful information to create strategies to intrigue more Chinese FITs and develop better tourist product.
