The results are summarized as follows. First, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on regular integrated childcare attitudes showed that cognitive and emotional factors had a statistically significant positive effect on regular attitudes. Second, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on children's activities and teachers' concerns for integrated childcare showed that cognitive and behavioral factors had a statistically significant positive effect on children's activities and teachers' concerns. Third, the effect of attitudes toward disabled children on behavioral problems of integrated childcare showed that cognitive, emotional and behavioral factors had a statistically significant positive effect on behavioral problems. As for findings stated as above, there was a difference in integrated childcare attitude depending on regular parents' attitude toward disabled children. This implies that there is a difference in cognitive and emotional attitudes toward disabled children in regular parents, acting as positive factors that raise the integrated childcare attitude for the improvement of perception on these factors. Consequently, for the integrated childcare, both disabled children and regular children should admit each other's diversity and accept different each other's existence, and the perception change of parents, who try to respect and learn together, should be preceded.

Subjects of this study were 9 teachers and the data was collected from 3 focus group (3 persons per group) and personal interviews in case of study needs. The results of this study are as follows: childcare teachers appealed ignorance and fear of children with disabilities before learning to improve their disability awareness, and have learned from the non-prejudiced attitudes of non-disabled children. The need for understanding and knowledge of children with disabilities was high, and they voluntarily and actively participated in the education for the improvement of disability awareness. Since participating in education, teachers have shown changes in perceptions of children with disabilities and changes in the way they practice childcare for disabled children. As regards cognition, teachers have become more interested in and understanding of children with disabilities and have tried to treat them equally with non-disabled children. • The nursing space and sanitary space are main living spaces for children in the child care center. The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics in terms of planning by mainly focusing on the nursing space and sanitary space of the disabled child care center in Japan. Since Japan has cultural backgrounds similar to those of Korea while providing systematic child care centers according to the symptom and grade of disability, it is anticipated that this case study on the disabled child care center in Japan will help establish standards related to disabled child care centers in Korea. To conduct the study in a more efficient way, the case study was divided into the space planning of nursing spaces and sanitary spaces and the installation of sanitary tools and handrails in the disabled child care center. The findings of investigating into actual conditions were analyzed by comparing them with Japanese laws and literary and documentary records relevant to this study. Through this study, it is expected that Korean child care centers, having constantly expanded their quantitative growth, will also improve the qualitative level of their atmospheres so that they may provide more proper conditions even for disabled children to get better used to child care centers in Korea.
