  • The government seismic retrofit project for educational facilities is progressing more actively due to the 2018 Pohang earthquake. It is most important that seismic retrofit constructions are conformed to seismic design to achieve the desired purpose of the project as reduce direct damage caused by earthquake. However, the construction supervision system is not mandatory for the retrofit construction site of small buildings including school buildings according to applicable laws and regulations. The purpose of this study was to develop a guide for constructions management of school building seismic retrofit. In order to achieve this goal, the survey on the construction site was conducted and various problems related to the construction site of school building seismic retrofit was derived Additionally, the systematic checklist was presented according to the user and seismic reinforcement method.

  • 본 고에서는 막구조의 설계, 시공, 유지관리에 대해 개략적으로 기술하였다. 막구조는 그 여러가지 특성이 아직 규명이 안된 부분이 많고 시공오차가 비교적 큰 편이므로 막 재료의 역학적, 재료적 특성에 대한 연구와 형상해석 모델의 공식화, 막재단의 컴퓨터화가 필요하며 초기장력 도입에 따른 시공과정의 해석이 더욱 필요하다. 따라서 설계, 형상해석, 재단에서 시공 및 유지관리에 이르는 일괄적인 System의 개발이 시급하다 하겠다.

  • The design with construction knowledge and experience can eliminate inefficiency in the process of construction and improve productivity in all phase of construction project. To utilize constructability knowledge most effectively in design phase, the information must be made available to the design team at the proper point in time. Current methods for effective utilization of constructability knowledge have focused on the structuralization of constructability knowledge such as checklist, which lack the consideration of the proper point in time. However, constructability knowledge which is used at the inapposite point in time consequently leads to unnecessary rework. To minimize this inefficiency and improve productivity, project manager needs to consider the design process and know what constructability knowledge is required for specific design activities. This paper therefore presents a design process management using Dependency Structure Matrix (DSM) that focus on information flows between design activities and constructability knowledge. We expect that the results of this paper will support that design process management become comprehensive management related to every phase of construction project beyond design review or inspection in design phase, and be used as a basis of the integration of design and construction.

  • Design and construction of long-span bridge are recently increasing by development of computer technology. Specially, cable stayed bridge and suspension bridge having cable component are representative of long-span bridge may do. Therefore, this paper a present a methodology for cable tension force monitoring in cable-stayed bridge under construction using acceleration data acquired by the vibration method. To improve accuracy construction, all stay cables are measured, according to 4-step construction stage and change of temperature.

  • With the rise of green technology, the environmental question causes people’s attention more and more, based on objective of the sustainable development, the green risk has already begun to appear. In the paper the definition of the green risk of construction project is given, it analyzes and identifies the green risk of construction project from three aspects, based on BIM, the relation with green risk was found. Though the relation, the management of green risk was analyzed and we may take some measures to reduce the unnecessary risk and waste.

  • The owner's evaluation system about the contractor's work performance is used to give the contractor some advantages or disadvantages. According to the result of evaluation of the contractor's performance in the given construction project, the owner identify the good contractors and give them some merits in the future project bidding. However, the system used in the Korean construction industry has caused many problems and has been operated improperly. As a case study, this paper investigates the current problems existed in the KNHC (Korean National Housing Corporation) evaluation system and suggests some directions for its efficient operation. In doing so, the study performed interviews with the KNHC officers and the related contractors, using a structured questionnaire

  • To achieve project successfully in domestic construction site, pre-management of risk is important factor. Synthesis Construction Document made early construction is representative as means of pre-management of risk. But, Synthesis Construction Document is not working properly for pre-management of risk because the level is low as Synthesis Construction Document is made formally and the time is too late to pre manage the risk for various factor. A epoch-making method that differ with existing need to solve this deep-rooted problem of domestic construction site. So, this study is analyzing to achieve subject to heighten level Synthesis Construction Document and shorten creation period with "S"construction company(introducing 6sigma by tool of management innovation 6 sigma)'s data and offering an opportunity that heightens effectiveness and goes forward and aims possibility about construction site suitability of 6sigma by confirming Pilot Test.
