A Study on the Effect on the Satisfaction of Pet Hospital (반려동물병원의 이용만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 )

  • This study was conducted to determine the effect on the satisfaction of pet hospital. For this research, the study was conducted on customers who raise dogs and cats nationwide and use pet hospital. Specialties, human factors, efficiency, physical factors, and pet satisfaction were derived from factors that affect pet hospital use satisfaction. Human factors included three factors as veterinarian, staff, and pet hairdressers, and regression analysis was performed. Research shows that professional, efficiency, and physical factors have a positive (+) effect on user satisfaction, veterinarians and staff, which are detailed factors of human factors, have a positive (+) effect on user satisfaction, and pet hairdressers do not. Overall, it was analyzed that it affects the satisfaction of use in the order of efficiency, professionalism, staff, veterinarian, pet satisfaction, and physical factors. This study is meaningful in that it divided human factors into occupational groups and developed and analyzed pet satisfaction factors as factors that affect pet hospital use satisfaction, and it is expected that pet hospital can help establish strategies to improve customer satisfaction.

The Effects of the Healthcare Accreditation on Hospital Employees' Satisfaction Level and Hospital Management Performance (의료기관 인증제도가 구성원 만족도와 병원운영 효과에 미치는 영향 : 비 인증병원과 인증병원 비교)

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp which effect the healthcare accreditation has on hospital employees' satisfaction level and hospital management performance by comparatively analyzing between accreditation hospital and non-accreditation hospital. As for difference in hospital employees' satisfaction level according to accreditation system, the incentive payment and pride of own task at the accreditation hospital and the hospital management effect were indicated to have positive(+) influence with statistically significant difference upon the item such as accuracy of task performance owing to the business standardization. It was indicated that hospital employees' satisfaction is high at the accreditation hospital and that the higher satisfaction level leads to having influence upon the effect of hospital management. What a country differentiates medical bill or supports medical equipment for medical institution that acquired accreditation is considered to be a plan for activation that can allow non-accreditation hospitals to be able to participate positively in the voluntary accreditation system.

Factors Affecting Health Services Satisfaction of Cancer Patients in University Hospitals (대학병원 암환자의 의료서비스 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that satisfy health services of cancer patients in university hospitals. 420 cancer patients who had visited hospitals in the capital and regional area were selected for this study. The data was collected through questionnaire survey along with a face-to-face interview from March. 21 to March. 30, 2011. This major findings of this research are as follows. First, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services is determined by the quality, kindness and detailed explanation of medical team. Second, health services satisfaction of cancer patients is strongly related to good convenience facilities and up-to-date medical equipments. Third, satisfaction of cancer patients regarding health services was statistically proved to have no significant relation to easy accessibility of hospital. Therefore, it is very important for university hospitals to improve quality of medical staff such as ability, kindness and detailed explanation of doctor, offer good convenience facilities and the most advanced equipments. It is expected that the outcomes of this study will contribute to the satisfaction improvement for cancer patients in university hospitals.

Determinants of Patients Satisfaction and Intent to Revisit Oriental Medical Hospitals (한방병원 환자 만족도 및 재이용 의사 결정요인)

  • This study aimed to investigate the determinants of patients satisfaction and intent to revisit oriental medical hospitals. The level of overall patient satisfaction was used as an intervening variable and the level of intent to revisit was used as a dependent variable. The sample used in this study consisted of 578 patients from 3 oriental medical hospitals located in Chungnam Province. Data were collected from October 2014 to December 2014 with a structured and self-administrated questionnaire and analysed using path analysis. The results of the study indicate that oriental medical hospitals should make an effort to improve the overall satisfaction of patients, in the case of outpatient, especially focusing on the doctors' service and medical procedure, and in the case of inpatient, especially focusing on the facilities convenience, medical price and hospital ward life which will lead to high level of intent to revisit of patients.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of gratitude disposition of geriatric hospital employees on job satisfaction and life satisfaction, and the moderating effect of the gratitude diary experience. A total of 485 copies of the research questionnaire were selected for workers in four geriatric hospitals who are promoting campaigns related to the gratitude diary. For data processing, a simple or hierarchical regression analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0. As a result of the study, The gratitude disposition had a statistically significant effect on job satisfaction and life satisfaction. However, the effect of gratitude disposition on job satisfaction and life satisfaction and the moderating effect of the audit diary experience were not statistically significant. The purpose of this study is to develop programs for job satisfaction and life satisfaction of geriatric hospital employees and provide basic data on manpower management of geriatric hospital.

  • The objective of this research is to find out how strategy development and deployment effect on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and work process in Korean hospitals. Previous researches suggested when establish a strategy had to reflect internal ability which are work process, employee satisfaction and others and external ability which are patients satisfaction and others. As a results, strategy development positive influence on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction and work process, and strategy deployment positive influence on patients satisfaction, employee satisfaction and work process as well. Patients satisfaction positive influence on hospital performance and work process influence on hospital performance but employee satisfaction is not.

  • 최근 우리나라는 대형병원이 증가하고 의료시장 개방에 따른 외국병원의 국내유입으로 중소병원은 환자의 수가 줄고, 우수한 의료진 확보가 어려워지는 등 심각한 경영난을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중소병원 경쟁 확보방안을 제시를 위해 원격의료서비스를 포함한 의료서비스 품질이 환자만족도에 미치는 영향을 보고자 하였다. 중소병원에서 시행하는 사전 약 처방에 있어 전화원격의료서비스를 받은 고객을 대상으로 의료서비스품질이 환자만족도에 미치는 영향을 설문을 통해서 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해서 기존의 의료서비스인 병원 환경 및 의료진 서비스 요인보다는 원격의료서비스요인이 의료서비스만족도에 보다 높은 영향을 미치는 관계를 검증하였다. 이를 통해 연구적 시사점을 도출하고, 중소형 병원의 의료서비스개선을 위한 전략수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다.

Comparative Analysis of Selection Factors by Type of Medical Institution (의료기관 종별 선택요인 비교 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of selection factors, customer satisfaction, and revisiting intention of general hospital, long-term care hospital, and oriental medicine hospital. From November 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020, a survey was conducted targeting 4 general hospitals, 6 long-term care hospitals, and 3 oriental medicine hospitals. In general hospitals, long-term care hospitals, and oriental medicine hospitals, human factors and efficiency factors had a positive(+) influence on customer satisfaction. In long-term care hospitals, the higher the income, the higher the customer satisfaction, and effectiveness factor had significant positive(+) effect on revisiting intention. For oriental medicine hospitals, the external image was an important factor in customer satisfaction and revisiting intention. Based on the research results, it is expected that hospitals entering an era of competition can become useful basic data for efficient management.
