The study was a descriptive research to investigate the effect of job satisfaction and self-leadership of members of small and middle-sized hospital on organizational commitment. Collection of data was conducted throughout members of small and middle-sized hospitals with explanation of purpose from 2011, Oct, 1st to 10th. Collected data was analyzed by T-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test and hierarchical regression analysis with utilizing SPSS Win 16.0. As a result of the expected effect, a degree of effect on organizational commitment has explanation 65.1%(F=183.804) on job satisfaction and self leadership. Also, it was job satisfaction that was found to be more effective, where explanation for it was ${\beta}$=.755 and self-leadership ${\beta}$=.264. With considering these facts, both factors are effective for organizational commitment. Therefore, to improve organizational commitment, it pays systemized strategies and ever more proactive efforts. To strengthen the self leadership, it needs changes in cultural aspects of hospitals to enlarge accessibility to information and opportunities for education and to expand freedom in their responsibility. Great effort on changing in cultural aspects of hospital would, based on effective interrelationship with members, improve efficacies of organization and efficiency of management.
Objectives: This study was to compare two healthy cities, Liverpool in England and Wonju in Korea, which evaluated healthy city projects and to reorient evaluation strategy which fits into Korean Healthy cities. Methods: Comparatives analysis was used by reviewing documents, healthy city plan and evaluation report, of two cities. Results: Healthy city projects in two cities, fifteen programs were identical items among twenty-seven but there were differences in seven items for Liverpool and five items for Wonju. In Liverpool evaluation was done by a stakeholder group called Liverpool Local Involvement Network(LINK), while in Wonju by Yonsei Healthy City Research Center. The evaluation tool was two types; quantitative and qualitative analysis. Liverpool mostly used qualitative and added quantitative, vice versa in Wonju. Conclusions: Evaluation plan for Healthy city projects need to be made in the first phase of the projects, instead of in the end. Moreover, it is important to include stakeholder in conducting qualitative analysis for unquantifiable evidence of effectiveness, as well as quantitative analysis.
In Biology, Studies Using Electron Microscopy for making Cell Structure to 3D reconstruction very fast development. Recently, by using Cryo fixation, we can see cell 3D structure without structural change, instead of using chemical fixation which can change cell structure. Before using this technology, we could understand cell structures only in 2D images. But now, through cryo-ET, 3D reconstruction of cell structure without artificial structure changes can be possible and this technology will give us many advantages in Drug delivery and Nanothechnology.
To make ones life meaningful is one of human's most valuable goal. Nevertheless, for cancer patients who are in the last phase of their lives obtaining this goal may be threatened by physical, psychological, and social difficulties. Music therapy ran be utilized to effectively fill in these physical, psychological, and social needs. In the form of a creative art, music therapy can be effective in easing the pain and tension as well as assisting the patient to discover meanings of life through psychological comfort. Further, music is itself a verbal/non-verbal communication tool and thus connects the patients with their families with understanding and sympathy. This study aims to examine the need and role of music therapy in hospice.

The objective of this study was to estimate human exposure to benzo (a)pyrene through multimedia/multi-pathway exposure scenario. The human exposure scenario for benzo(a)pyrene was consisted of 12 multiple exposure pathways, and the multipathway human exposure model based on this scenario constituted. In this study, the multipathway human exposure model was used to estimate the concentrations in the exposure contact media, human intake factors and lifetime average daily dose (LAD $D_{model}$) of benzo(a)pyrene in the environment. Sensitivity analysis was performed to identify the important parameters and Monte-Carlo simulation was undertaken to examine the uncertainty of the model. The total LAD $D_{model}$ was estimated to be 5.52${\times}$10$^{-7}$ mg/kg-day (2.06${\times}$10$^{-7}$ -8.65${\times}$10$^{-7}$ mg/kg-day) using the multipathway human exposure model. The inhalation dose accounted for 78% of the total LADD, whereas ingestion and dermal contact intake accounted for 20.2% and 1.8% of the total exposure, respectively. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the most significant contributing input parameter was benzo (a)pyrene concentration of ambient air. Consequently, exposure via inhalation in outdoor/indoor air was the highest compared with the exposure via other medium/pathways.
Purpose: This study attempted to test whether there are differences in the level and hemodynamic side effects (blood pressure, heart rate, $O_2$ saturation), and nausea & vomiting of spinal anesthesia using hyperbaric bupivacaine according to position (supine, lateral, and prone positions) in orthopedic surgery patients who received podiatric surgery under spinal anesthesia. Methods: This study was conducted with 53 patients who had received orthopedic surgery under spinal anesthesia at I General Hospital. Data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 through repeated-measures ANOVA, post-hoc test, Chi-test, and Fisher's exact test. Results: The change of position after spinal anesthesia with hyperbaric bupivacaine caused a change in the level of spinal anesthesia (F=12.768, p<.001). However, no difference of blood pressure, heart rate, $O_2$ saturation and nausea and vomiting caused by the change in anesthesia level was observed, and in prone position, drug was administered for the correction of side effects. Conclusion: As expected, recognizing that there can be a change in the level of spinal anesthesia after the change of position in surgical patients, nurse anesthetists should monitor their conditions carefully and continuously.
The purpose of this study was to develop a science gifted education program as a strategy for modulating gifted children's overexcitabilities and to examine the effect of such program on task commitment and creative personality. The results of this study were as follows. First, science gifted education program which modulated gifted children's overexcitabilities showed significant effect on the improvement of task commitment. Looking at sub domains, significant results were obtained at self-regulation. Second, science gifted education program which modulated gifted children's overexcitabilities showed significant effect on the improvement of creative personality. Looking at sub domains, significant results were obtained at the self-conviction and humors. Third, students who experienced the classes showed affirmative responses that the new teaching method was interesting and helpful. Looking at the above results, science gifted education program which modulated gifted children's overexcitabilities can be considered as effective for improving task commitment and creative personality of elementary scientific gifted students.
This study investigated the efficacy of DNA extraction methods for real-time PCR detection of foodborne pathogenic bacteria in livestock manure composts. Livestock manure composts were inoculated with Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Typhimurium, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus cereus and incubated in enrichment broth. For DNA extraction, enriched samples were treated following boiling method, by chloroform, C18 powder, and proteinase K. As a result, 4 species of bacteria were detected by real-time PCR when subjected to boiling for 30 min and treated with proteinase K. These results suggest that detection of foodborne pathogens by real-time PCR from livestock manure composts could be applicable using effective DNA extraction methodology such as the boiling method or proteinase K.

The goal of this study is to examine the effects of a leader's behavioral integrity on subordinates' intention to leave with the mediating roles of their cognitive and affective trust in their leader. After collecting data from 357 employees in a variety of organizations, we tested hypotheses with structural equation modeling(SEM). This study shows that there are statistically significant relationships among a leader's behavioral integrity, subordinates' cognitive/affective trust and intention to leave. A leader's behavioral integrity with the fully mediating roles of subordinates' cognitive and affective trust affects on their intention to leave negatively. Limitations in this study and suggestions for the future study are discussed.
Studies about the structure of Drosophila melanogaster retinal cell using electron microscopy have been carried out in details since 1960s. However, these results can have limitations in functional research because of two-dimensional structure. In this study, the adult retina of Drosophila melanogaster was investigated by employing high pressure freezing method, serial sections, high voltage electron microscopy, and 3-dimensional reconstruction method. From there results, mitochondria, microtubules, and nuclei were reconstructed as 3-dimensional structure using IMOD program. The 3D structure of these organelles showed that mitochondira mainly located in distal region near lens, and microtubule mainly located in distal and basal region. The 3D reconstruction of these organelles can be used for a critical evaluation in the dynamic change of cellular organelles caused by functional abnormality like retinal degeneration.
