  • 고령 사회로 접어들고 디지털 문맹이 대두되면서 기계 조작에 미숙한 정보취약계층이나 고령층들이 느끼는 불편함을 개선하고자 본 연구는 기존의 터치형 키오스크와는 차별된 음성/얼굴인식 기술을 활용한 키오스크 개발을 제안하며, 모든 연령층을 고려한 AI 기술의 활용으로 맞춤형 주문 서비스를 제공하여 고객 만족도를 높이고, 보다 쉽고 빠르게 주문할 수 있도록 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 한국무역협회(KITA)의 오픈상담 자료들을 바탕으로, 딥러닝 기술을 이용하여 구현한 해상물류 대화형 챗봇 ShipMate를 제안한다. 챗봇 ShipMate는 KoGPT2를 활용한 답변과 Doc2Vec 기반의 유사 상담사례 추천이 가능하고, 무역상담을 시간제약 없이 진행할 수 있기 때문에, 기존 해상물류 서비스의 접근성을 한층 더 높일 수 있으며 이를 실험을 통해 입증하였다.

  • 현대 사회에서 정신건강이 중요한 문제로 부상하고 있으나 국내 정신건강 서비스 이용률은 7.2%에 그친다. 코로나 발생 이후 이동성 제약 등의 요인에 따라 디지털 정신건강 관리 시장이 크게 성장할 것으로 보인다. 이에 본 논문에서는 AI 챗봇을 활용한 고민 상담을 통해 위로 및 제안을 제공하고, 대화 내용을 기반으로 영화를 추천하는 시스템을 제안한다. KoBert 모델을 이용하여 사용자의 감성을 분석하고, KoGPT 모델을 활용해 챗봇 응답을 생성한다.

An Optimization Technique of Scene Description for Effective Transmission of Interactive T-DMB Contents (대화형 T-DMB 컨텐츠의 효율적인 전송을 위한 장면기술정보 최적화 기법)

  • The Digital Multimedia Broadcasting(DMB) system is developed to offer high quality audio-visual multimedia contents to the mobile environment. The system adopts MPEG-4 standard for the main video, audio and other media format. It also adopts the MPEG-4 scene description for interactive multimedia contents. The animated and interactive contents can be actualized by BIFS(Binary Format for Scene), the binary format for scene description that refers to the spatio-temporal specifications and behaviors of the individual objects. As more interactive contents are, the scene description is also needed more high bitrate. However, the bandwidth for allocating meta data such as scene description is restrictive in mobile environment. On one hand, the DMB terminal starts demultiplexing content and decodes individual media by its own decoder. After decoding each media, rendering module presents each media stream according to the scene description. Thus the BIFS stream corresponding to the scene description should be decoded and parsed in advance of presenting media data. With these reason, the transmission delay of BIFS stream causes the delay of whole audio-visual scene presentation although the audio or video streams are encoded in very low bitrate. This paper presents the effective optimization technique for adapting BIFS stream into expected MPEG-2 TS bitrate without any bandwidth waste and avoiding the transmission delay of the initial scene description for interactive DMB contents.

  • Most of the existing broadband access networks based on DSL, cable modem, and Ethernet support the best-effort internet access service, and adopt the flat rate pricing mechanism. It is almost impossible to provide the differentiated communication services, in current broadband access networks, for the different users and/or the different application services. Currently, however, the advances in multimedia, communication, and security technologies push the interactive and/or streaming multimedia services and VPN services to be widely deployed over Internet, and they require more QoS-sensitive services than the best-effort service. Though various QoS technologies such as RSVP-based IntServ and DiffSern were already developed and under standardization in Internet world, it is impractical to replace the existing QoS-unaware access networks with the QoS-enabled ones at a time to deploy QoS-sensitive services. In this paper, after analyzing current broadband access network architectures and the status of QoS support, we propose a practical approach to support multimedia QoS in the broadband access networks. The approach will be based on the integration of the differentiated pricing and the DiffServ technology. And it will be a step-wise approach to support backward compatibility with the legacy broadband access networks as much as possible.

  • Currently, virtual reality contents using VR images are spotlighted since they can be easily created and utilized. But because VR images are in a state of lack of interaction, there are limitations in their applications and usability.In order to overcome this problem, we propose a new method in which 360 degree panorama image and game engine are utilized to develop a high resolution of interactive VR service in real time. In particular, since the background image, which is represented by a form of panorama image, is pre-generated through a heavy rendering computation, it can be used to provide a immersive VR service with a relatively small amount of computation in run time on a low performance device. In order to show the effectiveness of our proposed method, an interactive game of a virtual zoo environment was implemented and illustrated showing that it can improve user interaction and immersion experience in a pretty good way.

  • The recent increase in smartphone usage has ignited the development of new applications which have changed the way of living in this internet era in the world. Almost all users which have smartphone have used many kinds of applications for lots of part. Especially, Social Network Service is the most popular part for smartphone users. The greater part of smartphone users take messenger service for smartphone. This kinds of applications provide to manage as deactivation of user or change of device. When users take to manage their information, their information would be deleted securely. If secure deletion didn't work correctly and released, their personal information can be easily abused to by others through various means such as internet phishing. In this paper, we analysis that the messenger application's management function keeps on the Personal Information Protection Act and suggest to prevent legally and technically for user's personal information and privacy.

  • The conventional assistive tool for visually impaired people provide Simple service using a ultrasound, or an RFID tag to identify the obstacles. It is impossible to clear guide and has a vulnerability to unforeseen circumstances because of short recognition distance, The ARM Cortex-A9 Platform based implementation of the Portable Navigation System and Service Center will help the visually impaired gait. The Service Center will also provide solution for the lack of jobs due to the increase of the aging population. Navigation System that the visually impaired can carry possessing devices such as a camera, GPS, Audio, Ethernet transmit Image shown at the location of the visually impaired, GPS information and Sound Via TCP / IP. The staff of the service center receives information and can provide directions by communicating with them. So, the system can provide effective guidance to the visually impaired.

  • In order to use an Internet service, it is a general procedure that user subscribes to the service and then registers her or his id(identifier). As Internet has been more widely used, however, user has more and more ids than ever before. In this environments, whenever user uses an Internet service, she or he must authenticate to the service provider, which makes her or him inconvenient. As user's data is scattered and unmanaged on various web sites, user privacy has been revealed more often. This paper specifies e-IDMS which ETRI has been developing to solve such problems. e-IDMS is an Internet ID(IDentity) management system based on ID Federation Mechanism e-IDMS provides ID Federation-based facilities such as composite authentication, Internet SSG, ID information management, privacy protection and interactive query. e-IDMS is used in establishing integrated ill management system for public institutions.

  • In this paper we propose the structure of MPEG-4 multimedia player platform for Terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) Service. Korea will launch DMB service at next 2004 you based on Eureka-147 Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) Service System. This new mobile multimedia broadcasting services provide not only high quality digital audio broadcasting services, but also various multimedia data broadcasting services including high quality video. For the sake of MPEG-4 Systems technologies, it will provide an interactive service to users in the near future. Therefore it terminal shall have various functionalities as well as playing audio-visual contents. However there is no precedence standard for such mobile interactive multimedia broadcasting system. Therefore it is very import to provide the multimedia player platform of DMB service for accelerating the development process of commercial terminal and providing a direction of next DMB terminal structure.
