Analysis of Mechanical Engineering Curriculum and Model Curriculum Structure (효율적인 기계공학 이수체계에 관한 연구)

  • Mechanical engineering curriculum has been studied through curriculum tree model and requirement of prerequisite courses. We analyze curriculum, curriculum system, course outcomes, design education of mechanical engineering programs in korean and foreign universities and present results to improve current curricular system. Current study would analyze, develop, and help mechanical engineering programs to prepare better curriculum for engineering education accreditation, to maintain accreditation. Through this analysis we try to provide reasonable model curriculum structure, prerequisite courses and necessary information about establishing various sub-major curriculum in mechanical engineering.

  • 최근 메이커 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지며 민 관차원에서의 투자와 연구도 늘고 있다. 그러나 메이커 교육은 비교적 최근에 다루어지기 시작한 연구 주제로 국내 연구 동향에 대한 체계적인 분석이 부족한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 체계적 문헌고찰 방법을 이용하여 메이커 교육의 국내 연구 동향을 분석하기 위해 기초연구로서 논문 선정 프로토콜을 설정하고 최종 검토 논문을 선별하였으며 분석의 틀을 제시하였다. 후속 연구로 메이커 교육에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰을 실시할 것이다.

  • 지난 9월 1일부터 5일까지 명동 Ibis에서 아태 정보보호 교육이 개최됐다. 올해 교육은 아태지역 개발도상국을 대상으로 침해사고 대응역량 강화 및 국가간 협력체계를 강화하기 위한 것으로, 이번 교육에는 14개국에서 24명이 참석했다. 물론 교육 참석 국가 대부분은 아직 IT 인프라나 정보보호 대응체계 수준이 미흡한 것이 사실이지만, 향후 가까운 미래에 이들과의 공동 대응체계를 구축하는 것이 이번 교육의 궁극적인 목적이다.

Development of Dietary Life Curriculum in Elementary and Secondary Schools Home Economics that Integrated Habermas's Three Systems of Action (Habermas의 세 행동체계를 융합한 초·중·고등학교 가정교과 식생활 교육과정 개발)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop curriculum of the elementary, and secondary school home economics that integrates three systems of action and to prepare a plan for convergence education in home economics curriculum. To achieve this goal, the characteristics of elementary, secondary school dietary curriculum integrating three systems of action, the focus of development, core competencies, and goals were derived through the review of literature. In this study, we set up perennial and sub-practical problems and selected content elements. The contents system of the developed curriculum was modified and supplemented by examining the validity of experts, and the achievement standard of the middle school home economics dietary education curriculum was developed by integrating the three systems of action. The content system of the elementary, and secondary school home economics curriculum that integrated the three systems of action is centered on practical problems, and the perennial problem is 'What should we do to practice healthy dietary life?' There are five areas of this curriculum: 'health and diet', 'food planning', 'food purchase and management', 'cooking', and 'meal', and the scope of curriculum is repeatedly expanded to 'personal and family', and 'social'. The practical problems in the five areas are composed of 10 practical problems in the two dimensions (personal & family, and society), and the practical problems and contents elements are spiralled by applying the principle of integration. The contents of this curriculum were compared with the achievement standards and learning elements of the dietary life in the 2015 elementary school practical arts, middle and high school 'technology & home economics', and the 'home economics science' curriculum. The results showed that the developed curriculum encompassed additional content beyond all the content already included in the 2015 revised curriculum.

A Semantic Classification Model for Educational Resource Repositories (교육용 자원 저장소를 위한 의미적 분류 모델)

  • This paper proposes a classification model for systematical management of resources in educational repositories. A classification scheme should be provided to systematically store and manage, precisely retrieve, and maximize the usability of the resources. However, there is little research result on the classification scheme and classification model for educational repository resources. It causes several issues such as inefficient management of educational resources, incorrect retrieval, and low usability. However, there are different characteristics between the educational resource information and information of the previous fields. Therefore, a novel research on the classification scheme and classification model for the resources in educational repositories is required. To achieve the goal for efficient and easy use of the educational resources, we should manage consistently the resources according to the classification scheme accepting several views. This paper proposes a classification model to systematically manage and increase the usability of the educational resources. In other words, the proposed classification model can manages dynamically the classification scheme for the resources in educational repositories according to various views. To achieve the objectives, we first define a proper classification scheme for the implementation resources based on the classification scheme in relevant scientific technology fields. Especially, we define a novel classification model to dynamically manage the defined classification scheme. The proposed classification scheme and classification model enable more precise and systematic management of implementation resources and also increase the ease of usability.

The Study on the Development of the Binary System Teaching Contents for the Characters (문자의 이진체계 교육 콘텐츠 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Unplugged has been widely used as an instrument for teaching the basic principles of Computer Science. We'll present 'the binary system teaching contents for the characters' developed for the elementary. And they will successfully guide the student to understand the characters using in computer system. The activity-based learning is provided for describing characters with coding and decoding rules, and the using will be found out in everyday life. To check the adequacy of these materials they were tested to the elementary classroom, and the results showed effectively at Knowledge, Attitude, Generalization levels.

Development of educational objectives and content standards for clothing life area of home economics education (가정과교육에 있어서 의생활 영역의 교육목표와 내용 체계 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop educational objectives and content standards for clothing life area based on the theoretical framework of home economics education. To achieve this, literature review and need assessment on curriculum contents for clothing life area were performed. and expert meetings and a workshop were held. The results were considered in developing educational objectives and content standards. The educational objectives were developed in both general and specific levels. The curriculum contents were developed according to educational objectives in the specific levels in the form of content standards. Specific concepts for each content standard were proposed. The curriculum materials proposed in this study can be applied flexibly to the future development of national curriculum and textbooks.

  • Nuclear education & training is an important issue for sustainability of nuclear energy and the safety of the nuclear power plant. The purpose of this paper is to present policy initiatives for establishment of the national nuclear education & training system. It analyzed current status of nuclear manpower and nuclear education & training systems of Korean nuclear organizations and government strategic plans for nuclear manpower education & training. The features of the current nuclear education & training in Korea are institutional diversification and decentralization in Industry-University-Research system. However, linkages and cooperation systematically integrated between institutions are very weak. In addition, duplicated education & training programs and resource allocation, and the resultant inefficiency have been raised as a problem. Therefore, this paper proposed the national nuclear education & training system model as a macro policy initiatives and construction of control tower that manage and adjust overall nuclear education & training.

  • 세월호 참사 후, 전 사회적으로 안전이 강조되면서 정부 부처로서 국민안전처, 그후 행정안전부로 명칭이 변경되고 관련 법규가 제정 및 정비, 시행되면서 교육측면에서도 전보다 강력한 재난안전교육이 진행되고 있다. 이러한 정책적 노력의 연장선상에서 정부는 국민 안전교육을 체계적으로 추진하기 위해 2016년 5월 「국민안전교육 진흥기본법」을 제정하여 대국민 안전교육 관련 제도, 정책 수립 및 집행 기능을 대폭 확대하였다. 그러나 국민 안전교육을 체계적으로 추진하기 위한 노력에도 불구하고 전 국민 대상 재난안전교육이 제대로 이루어지기에는 한계가 있음이 여러 연구에서 나타나고 있다. 2015년 이후 재난안전교육 관련 선행연구들은 국내 안전교육이 일회성이나 단기간의 교육으로 이루어지는 것을 지양하고, 생활 속에서 계획적으로 실시되어 지식적 측면·행동적 측면·태도적 측면의 유기적 통합이 이루어지도록 요구하고 있고, 이를 통해 안전교육 효과가 증진됨을 알려주고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 재난안전교육의 목표를 재확인하고 2023년 초까지 진행되었던 안전교육의 실태를 2014년 이후 안전교육을 가장 체계적·지속적으로 받아온 고등학교 학생 대상의 재난 안전 인식 설문을 통한 통계 분석의 과정을 진행하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 생애주기별로 지속적·체계적·반복적으로 이루어져야만 그 목표를 구현할 수 있는 재난안전교육의 특성을 파악하고 교육효과 개선방안을 모색하였다.
