Study on the influence of Hotel Training satisfaction to on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and service quality (호텔 사내교육의 만족이 직무만족, 조직몰입, 서비스품질에 미치는 영향에 관한연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of hotel training satisfaction to on the job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and service quality. The sample was obtained during 3weeks periods from Oct $14^{th}$ 2017 to Nov $4^{th}$ 2017 and out of 230 copies of the questionnaire, 223 copies responded with sincerity were made an object of the analysis. The results of the study were as follows, Firstly, training had an positive impact on the job satisfaction, Secondly, training significantly effected on organizational commitment. And practical training in the hotel has a positive impact on improving the quality of service. Third, job satisfaction has a positive effect on quality of service. Finally, organizational commitment also has a positive effect on service quality.

Design and Implementation of Distributed Metadata Searching System using XML Web Service and JDBC (XML 웹서비스와 JDBC를 이용한 분산 메타데이터 검색 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • Sixteen provincial Research Institute of Education and Science(RISE) in the country have provided good qualified multimedia educational materials that was produced by some special skilled teachers to elementary, middle and high school teachers using web services. And moreover KERIS and KICE have also produced educational materials and have a plan to integrate distributed multimedia educational materials that RISE produced. The development of KERIS's KEM metadata in 2001 and the making of educational material metadata of RISE is the first step of integration plan. These metadata can be used to make integration plan possible. But before taking integration plan, the study of how to integrate and manage it should be performed. Therefore, this paper introduces the technique of XML web service and JDBC with 3-tier system as the method of integrate distributed educational material metadata. The evaluation shows these two methods have similar response time with MS SQL Server 2000 and Oracle 9i. Thus, we conclude that JDBC and XML web service can be the proper solution to search XML-formatted metadata.

EEPERF(Experiential Education PERFormance): An Instrument for Measuring Service Quality in Experiential Education (체험형 교육 서비스 품질 측정 항목에 관한 연구: 창의적 체험활동을 중심으로)

  • As experiential education services are growing, the need for proper management is increasing. Considering that adequate measures are an essential factor for achieving success in managing something, it is important for managers to use a proper system of metrics to measure the performance of experiential education services. However, in spite of this need, little research has been done to develop a valid and reliable set of metrics for assessing the quality of experiential education services. The current study aims to develop a multi-item instrument for assessing the service quality of experiential education. The specific procedure is as follows. First, we generated a pool of possible metrics based on diverse literature on service quality. We elicited possiblemetric items not only from general service quality metrics such as SERVQUAL and SERVPERF but also from educational service quality metrics such as HEdPERF and PESPERF. Second, specialist teachers in the experiential education area screened the initial metrics to boost face validity. Third, we proceeded with multiple rounds of empirical validation of those metrics. Based on this processes, we refined the metrics to determine the final metrics to be used. Fourth, we examined predictive validity by checking the well-established positive relationship between each dimension of metrics and customer satisfaction. In sum, starting with the initial pool of scale items elicited from the previous literature and purifying them empirically through the surveying method, we developed a four-dimensional systemized scale to measure the superiority of experiential education and named it "Experiential Education PERFormance" (EEPERF). Our findings indicate that students (consumers) perceive the superiority of the experiential education (EE) service in the following four dimensions: EE-empathy, EE-reliability, EE-outcome, and EE-landscape. EE-empathy is a judgment in response to the question, "How empathetically does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Principal measures are "How well does the service provider understand my needs?," and "How well does the service provider listen to my voice?" Next, EE-reliability is a judgment in response to the question, "How reliably does the experiential educational service provider interact with me?" Major measures are "How reliable is the schedule here?," and "How credible is the service provider?" EE-outcome is a judgmentin response to the question, "What results could I get from this experiential educational service encounter?" Representative measures are "How good is the information that I will acquire form this service encounter?," and "How useful is this service encounter in helping me develop creativity?" Finally, EE-landscape is a judgment about the physical environment. Essential measures are "How convenient is the access to the service encounter?,"and "How well managed are the facilities?" We showed the reliability and validity of the system of metrics. All four dimensions influence customer satisfaction significantly. Practitioners may use the results in planning experiential educational service programs and evaluating each service encounter. The current study isexpected to act as a stepping-stone for future scale improvement. In this case, researchers may use the experience quality paradigm that has recently arisen.

  • The purpose of this study is to design public service design education to strengthen the public service competencies of policy providers necessary in the changing service administration era and to confirm the effectiveness through empirical cases. Based on the theoretical research of public service and public service design, an educational program linking public service competency elements with public service design methodology was designed, and the effects through case studies and surveys demonstrated through workshops were confirmed. Team activities and practice-oriented methods and tools based on the contents of the public service design project were particularly effective in strengthening collaboration and communication competencies, and overall satisfaction was confirmed. The educational program model of this study is meaningful by presenting and demonstrating practical education linking public service competencies for policy providers, and future studies will subdivide and verify the effectiveness of competency-based education model design.

  • Smart farming education service based on network are important factors for farming sector. The lack of time and space has to lead to their limited appliance to farmers. Limited information support and low background knowledge in farming production is a lot of trial and error in farming production. Smart farming education as a service based on cloud provide the farming information that is the farming knowledge, farming skill, and farmer's experiences and knowhow, etc. And real-time information such as climate change, soil environment and market trends is very important. A Study on the Value of Dance Education through the Quality of Culture and Arts Education Service (문화예술교육 서비스 품질을 통한 무용교육의 가치에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify whether the quality of service provided by culture and arts education has a bearing on the service value of dance education, and to verify the role of the intention of reuse of culture and arts education participants in this relationship. The survey was conducted from October 1, 2019 to December 30, 2019, and a sample was collected from stratified sampling methods for the general public participating in culture and arts education. In order to verify the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, multiple regression analysis was performed, and the role of the parameter in the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable was examined using the three-step intermediary regression analysis. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing the relationship between the sub-factors of service quality and emotional value, it was found that facilities and environmental services had the greatest impact. Second, the results of analyzing the relationship between the sub-factors of service quality and functional value showed that the most significant impact was on facilities and environmental services. Third, as a result of analyzing the relationship between the sub-factors of service quality and social values, it was found that facilities and environmental services had the greatest impact. Fourth, In the relationship between contents and instructor service and service value, the intention to reuse was found to have a full mediating effect. In addition, in the relationship between facility and environmental services and service value, the intention to reuse was found to have a partial mediating effect. Based on the quality of service of culture and arts education, this study suggested a way for dance education to work with the region.

A Study on the Actual State of Edunet Utilization by Elementary School Teachers (초등학교 교사의 에듀넷 활용에 관한 실태 연구)

  • The most widely-used typical information service of national education, EDUNET has members of 5.8million. But it has been not used in the fields of elementary school. There are short-comings in its usage by members of the elementary school teaching. We would like to find solutions by using a questionnaire to the teachers of elementary school in the Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do, which resolve the problems of the actual condition. Analytical results show that 93.1 percent of the teachers usually use private education information service and 5.3 percent use EDUNET service. The main reason why teachers discourage the use of EDUNET service is that it provides the inconvenience of searching data(29.4%) and insufficiency of good quality contents(25%). In order to revitalize using EDUNET service, EDUNET has to improve on the perceived cumbersome unhandy of searching tools and help teachers to use EDUNET service by offering information of high quality.

  • Since the theories of service quality were introduced in Korea, they have been applied to the various organizations, such as hospital, hotel travel agency bank, telecom company, and even retail market. Compared with these areas, however studies on the service qualify in educational institutions have been scarcely conducted. Also, higher educational service challenges user-oriented education system of the 21st century concept of Service quality from the theories of market economy. The purpose of this study is to identify the dimensions of educational and administrative service, and their influence upon the satisfaction and value on service quality, and formulate the service quality model based on the revised quality dimensions using SERVQUAL measuring method, to find out the most influential factors upon the service qualify among these factors. This study also suggests proper measures for improving service quality.

  • 현재 서비스되고 있는 디지털 위성방송(DVB) 서비스의 경우 비디오는 SD급인 MPEG-2 방식을 이용하고 있다. [1] MPEG-2 비디오를 위성을 이용한 원격 교육 서비스에 적용할 경우 해상도 및 데이터량이 보이고자 하는 교육 데이터에 배해 상대적으로 커 비효율적이다. 이를 개선하고 위성을 이용한 원격교육 서비스를 효율적으로 구현하기 위한 MPEG-4 적용 방안 및 구현 기술을 제안한다. MPEG-4 비디오 프로파일은 심플 프로파일을 적용하며 오디오는 G.273.1을 사용하고 MPEG-4 데이터 및 mp4 파일 전송은 DVB 방식의 데이터 방송 규격인 MPE와 Data Carousel을 적용한다. MPEG-4를 이용한 위성 원격교육 서비스에서의 실시간 강의 서비스에 해당하는 라이브 캐스팅 외에 mp4 파일을 이용한 파일 캐스팅 및 비실시간 강의 서비스에 해당하는 mp4 파일의 캐로셀 전송 방안에 대해서 제안 하고자 한다.

  • There is a number of national internet web sites which provide educational information services and contents. One of the more important issues in educational services is to offer a set of educational contents of high quality. It is important to develop the instruction-learning efficiency based contents, considering the variety of learners and content types. In this paper, we present the design of a cyber teaming system using distributed learning standard technology. In this cyber teaming system we particularly describe its course management service which allows to users the registration, deletion, modification, contents conversion, and contents learning.
