The Purpose of this study was to exam the relationships among nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction and mediating effect. A convenience sample of 200 nursing students were recruited from a college in G city, from May 12 to 16. 2014. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS/PC ver 21.0 programs. There were significantly positive correlations between nurse image, nursing professionalism and major satisfaction. Nursing professionalism fully mediated the relationship between nurse image and major satisfaction. These findings indicate that increasing nursing professionalism can be an effective way to change nurse image more positive among nursing students, especially before clinical practice. A collaborative effort among nursing education and nursing leaders in practice is needed to change nurse image more positive.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of perceived nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior on the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students. For this purpose, 231 nursing students from 4 university in 4 city were sampled for convenience. The result of this study were as follows:First, nursing professionalism of nursing students directly affected career preparation behavior and major satisfaction, which was statistically significant. Second, nursing professionalism showed mediating effects in relationship between career preparation behavior. Third, the major satisfaction of nursing students directly affected nursing professionalism and career preparation behavior. Based on the results of the research, it is necessary to develop an intervention program that strengthen major satisfaction of nursing students.

The study were to identify the effect of ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support on department satisfaction in nursing students. Data were collected from April to May 2017 from 272 nursing students. The study tools were ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support, department satisfaction. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, multiple linear regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. The result showed that the difference in department satisfaction relating to general characteristics were significant for reason for choosing a department, student activity, academic record. The correlation among ego-resilience, nursing professionalism, social support, department satisfaction were significant, and the significant factors influencing department satisfaction in nursing students were social support, nursing professionalism, ego-resilience. It is necessary to find ways to improve the department satisfaction through the activities that can enhance the social support, nursing professionalism, and ego-resilience of nursing students. This will help them adjust to college life.

This study examined the influence of nurse image, job value on the nursing professionalism of first year nursing students. Data were collected from May 7 to May 14, 2018 for 306 first year nursing students. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0. The average degree of nursing image at 4.12, job value score of 3.12, and nursing professionalism score of 3.98. Nursing professionalism was positively correlated with the nursing image(r=.823, p<.001) and job value(r=.492, p<.001). The significant variables explaining nursing image(${\beta}=.760$, p=.000) and job value(${\beta}=.134$, p=.000) These factors explained 69% of nursing professionalism. It is necessary to provide education that consider the nursing image, job value of nursing students to help them establish an acceptable view of nursing professionalism.

This study is a descriptive survey research conducted to confirm the effects of growth mindset and emotional labor of clinical practice on nursing professionalism in nursing students. The subjects are 3rd and 4th grade students who are attending two university nursing departments in city G, and data were collected from July to September 2021. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis and controlled regression analysis. The research results are as follows. Growth mindset(β=.325, p<.001) had a positive effect on nursing professionalism. Emotional labor of clinical practice(β=-.099, p=.161) had not statistically a significant effect on nursing professionalism. The study model accounted for 25.4% of nursing professionalism. It suggests that strategies are needed to enhance the growth mindset in order to promote nursing professionalism in nursing students.

The purpose of this study is a descriptive research study to understand to investigate the convergence effects of nursing students clinical performance ability, clinical practice satisfaction, and emotional intelligence on nursing professionalism. From November 10 to November 20, 2021, 132 fourth-year nursing students 132 students in 4th year nursing department were surveyed using a convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA, Scheff'e test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Statistics 25.0. As a result of the study, factors affecting nursing professionalism were emotional intelligence(β=.46, p<.001), clinical performance (β=.18, p=.033), and clinical practice satisfaction(β=.18, p=.027) and the explanatory power of nursing professionals was 52%. Therefore, it is expected that it will be used as basic data for a program that can improve professional nursing values of nursing students through factors affecting professional nursing values.

The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting nursing professionalism in students and develop educational programs. Data were collected from 169 students in G-do, from March 15th to April 30th, 2019. Analysis was done using IBM SPSS 21.0 for frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Multiple regression. The subjects' moral self was 3.39, moral behavior was 3.72, self-control was 3.68, empathy was 3.53, interpersonal competence was 3.69, and nursing professionalism was 3.90. Nursing professionalism positively correlated with self-control, empathy, and interpersonal competence. The most important factor affecting nursing professionalism was major satisfaction - 'satisfied' (β=.232, p=.002), followed by empathy (β=.222, p=.003) and interpersonal competence (β=.178, p=.016). The explanatory power was 18.5% (F=13.69, p<.001). Therefore, a program promoting major satisfaction, empathy, and interpersonal competence and a customized program considering personality and department adaptation are needed for establishment and enhancement of nursing professionalism. Utilizing the results of this study as basic data for nursing professionalism enhancement program and study confirming enhancement is expected.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between image of nurses and nursing professional values in nursing students. Data were collected through self reported structured questionnaire using convenient sampling methods survey from 147 students enrolled in the nursing department from March 11 to March 22, 2013. There was a significant difference in the image of nurses on the club activities, satisfaction with major, satisfaction with college life. There was a significant difference in the nursing professional values according to the satisfaction with major. Image of nurses has positively correlation with nursing professional values. 'Social participation' domain of image of nurses has a strong positive correlation with nursing professional values. 'Self concept of profession' domain of nursing professional values has a strong positive correlation with image of nurses. Therefore, it is thought that developing various teaching strategies, promoting club activities, paying attention to the student, and guiding them for raising degree of satisfaction with major and college life would be helpful to improve nurse' image and nursing professional values of nursing students.

The purpose of this study investigates the relationships between nurses' image, professional self-concept and nursing professionalism in nursing students, and explore the plan of nursing education for the establishment of exemplary nursing professionalism in nursing students. A convenience sample of 292 subjects were recruited from one university in G city. And data were collected from November 11 to November 15, 2015. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation, Stepwise Multiple linear regression analyses with SPSS 21.0 Program. The nursing professionalism of nursing students showed a significantly positive correlation of nurses' image(r=.821, p<.001) professional self-concept(r=.701, p<.001). Fifty-seven percentage of the variance was explained by nurses' image, professional self-concept and grade. Therefore, on the basis of this study's result, when nursing educational programs are developed to make positive professionalism, these factors need to be consider.

Purpose: This study was attempted to identify knowledge, performance of standard precautions, and nursing professionalism and to investigate the influence on nursing professionalism in nursing students experienced clinical practice. Methods: The subjects are 205 nursing students in six university nursing departments in two regions. The data were collected from September 7th to September 17th, 2021 using the online survey. Results: The total score for knowledge of standard precautions was 24.69. The average for performance of standard precautions was 3.70 on a scale of 4 and nursing professionalism was an average of 4.12 on a scale of 5. Factors affecting nursing professionalism included gender(β=-.21, p=.002), knowledge of standard precautions(β=.13, p=.044), and performance of standard precautions(β=.27, p=<.001). The explanatory power of the model was 13.1%. Conclusions: Results of this study suggest that it is necessary to develop and apply an clinical educational program that can promote knowledge and performance of standard precautions to enhance the positive nursing professionalism of nursing students.
