  • In the film Inception, we can see that the human dream world is depicted using Freud's psychoanalytical subconscious theory. Through the expression of the subconscious, And the ability to think and think deeply of human nature, such as presenting a new perspective to insight and expression. Based on Freud 's subconscious theory, this paper explores the expression of the dream world and the subconscious in the film and examines the meaning expression of the film through it. The main character is well described as living a chaotic life in obsession with obsessions and obsessions due to his subconscious uncontrollable through his dreams and dreams of being satisfied by the way the oppressed thoughts and desires are disguised I feel that I feel my foolishness and mood as a masturbation by dreaming and dreaming to turn back the moments of regret. In addition, conflicts and confrontations between consciousness and subconscious are expressed well in the form of confusion in reality and dreams. This application and application of humanities studies is a good example of the production of in-depth popular arts content, as we can see that it can add to the weight of depth setting, plot development, and above all creative time and space creation.

Concept-based Detection of Functional Modules in Protein Interaction Networks (단백질 상호작용 네트워크에서의 개념 기반 기능 모듈 탐색 기법)

  • In the protein interaction network, there are many meaningful functional modules, each involving several protein interactions to perform discrete functions. Pathways and protein complexes are the examples of the functional modules. In this paper, we propose a new method for detecting the functional modules based on concept. A conceptual functional module, briefly concept module is introduced to match the modules taking them as its instances. It is defined by the corresponding rule composed of triples and operators between the triples. The triples represent conceptual relations reifying the protein interactions of a module, and the operators specify the structure of the module with the relations. Furthermore, users can define a composite concept module by the counterpart rule which, in turn, is defined in terms of the predefined rules. The concept module makes it possible to detect functional modules that are conceptually similar as well as structurally identical to users' queries. The rules are managed in the XML format so that they can be easily applied to other networks of different species. In this paper, we also provide a visualized environment for intuitionally describing complexly structured rules.

A Study on Korean Lip-Sync for Animation Characters - Based on Lip-Sync Technique in English-Speaking Animations (애니메이션 캐릭터의 한국어 립싱크 연구 : 영어권 애니메이션의 립싱크 기법을 기반으로)

  • This study aims to study mouth shapes suitable to the shapes of Korean consonants and vowels for Korean animations by analyzing the process of English-speaking animation lip-sync based on pre-recording in the United States. A research was conducted to help character animators understand the concept of Korean lip-sync which is done after recording and to introduce minimum, basic mouth shapes required for Korean expressions which can be applied to various characters. In the introduction, this study mentioned the necessity of Korean lip-sync in local animations and introduced the research methods of Korean lip-sync data based on English lip-sync data by laking an American production as an example. In the main subject, this study demonstrated the characteristics and roles of 8 basic mouth shapes required for English pronunciation expressions, left out mouth shapes that are required for English expressions but not for Korean expressions, and in contrast, added mouth shapes required for Korean expressions but not for English expressions. Based on these results, this study made a diagram for the mouth shapes of Korean expressions by laking various examples and made a research on how mouth shapes vary when they are used as consonants, vowels and batchim. In audition, the case study proposed a method to transfer lines to the exposure sheet and a method to arrange mouth shapes according to lip-sync for practical animation production. However, lines from a Korean movie were inevitably used as an example because there has not been any precedents in Korea about animation production with systematic Korean lip-sync data.

The Comparison of Anger between Patients with Coronary Artery Disease and Healthy Individuals (관상동맥질환 환자들과 정상인 간 분노의 비교)

  • The objective of this study was to make a comparison on anger level between patients with coronary artery diseases and healthy individuals. 233 patients with coronary artery diseases and 215 normal controls were enrolled in this study. The Anger Expression Scale, the anger and aggression subscales of the Stress Response Inventory(SRI) and the hostility subscale of the Symptom Checklist-90-revised(SCL-90-R) were used to assess the level of anger. The patients with coronary artery diseases scored significantly higher on the anger-out and anger total subscales of the anger expression scale, the anger and aggression subscales of the SRI than the normal controls. The patients with angina pectoris had significantly higher scores in the anger-out and anger-total subscale than those with myocardial infarction. Male subjects scored significantly higher on the anger-in subscale than females, whereas female subjects scored significantly higher on the anger-out subscale than male subjects. These results suggest that patients with coronary artery diseases are likely to have a higher level of anger or anger expression than normal controls and that there may be difference in anger expression between male and female patients. It is emphasized that anger management is needed to prevent the coronary artery disease patients from aggravating the illness.

  • A feng-shui map is a kind of map that features such propitious positions as fortune-bringing spots or ideal grave sites. The map is a representation of the most ideal natural terrains in terms of feng-shui perspectives. This study did research on two feng-shui maps registered on some genealogical tables in order to see how the map was drawn up. In addition, the detailed characteristics of landform expressions like the frame of the map, viewpoints, center-oriented mapping, water flow, mountain theories were delved into. The results of the research are as follows: the feng-shui maps for this research used the techniques of double scale and aerial view, described terrains with grave sites in their centers, and enlarged important terrains compared with surroundings for exaggeration purposes. In addition, other vital landforms not observed from grave sites were depicted with viewpoints moved and were represented in fine details. The part of mountain theories had the following points as their main subject matter: geographical locations, overall orientations of mountain ranges, topographical traits, grave seat directions and surrounding terrains.

  • This study is focused on subjective images that are produced before visualization in the digital information environment and on characteristics of objective, dynamic image expression that specifies the subjective images. In this study, the visual world that works in the action of "see"is expanded into vision of eyes, vision of brain, and vision of camera. Also we have redefined the definitions of image and its materialized image, yeongsang. It is defined that image contains a strong meaning of consciousness and mind, and that yeongsang involves vision in which constantly changing information of light is created and reproduced by physical processes. We made it clear that image expression in the 21 st century is becoming more generalized, simplified, and concentrated, by the digital technology, from existing specific non-real images to "informationalized" non-real images. This means that there exists an intrinsic difference in the expressional form of the modern analog environment and that of the recent digital environment in the area of yeongsang communication. Along with development of technology, image information raises plastic reality through indirect experience in the virtual space by expanding the sensual faculty of human. However, there also is a tendency for humans to rely more on technology instead of utilizing their creative faculty. Image expression by“the digital information environment” in the 21st century will pursue two sides; one is to shift from external expression of the human body in the cyber space to internal expression, and the other is to internalize the image world and make it connected worldwide. The effect of perceived father communication, emotional expressiveness and gender identity on self-efficacy of nursing college female students (간호여대생의 지각된 부와의 의사소통, 부의 정서표현, 성정체성이 자기효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the factors influencing perceived father communication, emotional expressiveness and gender identity on self-efficacy of female nursing college students. Data were collected from 270 female nursing students in B city, from May 23, 2016 to May 27 and then analyzed by ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 21.0. The degree of self-efficacy among female nursing students was $3.21{\pm}0.38$. There were significant differences in self-efficacy with respect to academic status(F=5.13, p=.006), relationship with father(F=4.74, p=.001), academic grade(F=5.22, p=.006), and gender satisfaction (F=4.00, p=.004). There were positive correlations between self-efficacy and open communication(r=.30, p<.001), self-efficacy and positive emotional expressiveness(r=.37, p<.001), and self-efficacy and gender identity(r=.26, p<.001), while there were negative correlations between self-efficacy and close communication(r=-22, p<.001), and self-efficacy and negative emotional expressiveness(r=-.26, p<.001). Regression analysis showed 18.2% variance in female nursing student's self-efficacy in response to positive emotional expressiveness, negative emotional expressiveness, and gender identity. Overall, the results of this study indicate that it is necessary to identify various factors affecting and increasing self-efficacy of female nursing college students.

A Study on the Visual Effects of Non-Photorealistic Rendering Animation focusing on 'Paperman,' a Short Animation (넌-포토리얼리스틱(Non-Photorealistic) 렌더링 애니메이션의 시각 효과 기법 - 단편 애니메이션 Paperman을 중심으로)

  • Animation is completed in accordance with the original planning of visual direction in the process of post-production. Especially, a variety of visualization skills to meet the planning idea are directed in editing and compositing processes such as rendering and shading in the production of 3D animation. Therefore, the studies how to implement these visual effects have been conducted since the emergence of the animation. The rendering method which appears in the recent animations so often is the effect of 2D animation style although it is applied by 3D technique. 3D animation can be classified as two types including photo realistic and non-photo realistic renderings. The former is to render the images realistically while the latter is to highlight the formative effect with analogue style free from the realism of the photographs. Visual effect of 2D animation is non-realistic, that is, non-photo realistic rendering. The animations produced by this method have the depth of 3D animation expression in terms of space and animating, and can direct the viewer-friendly analogue style visuals, which are widely used as a post-production effect. Hence in this study, we selected a short animation, 'Paperman,' one of Disney's animations, produced by cartoon rendering method which belongs to the class of non-photo rendering technique in 3D graphics, as our subject. We analyzed their techniques and visual effects of the scenes expressed by cartoon rendering method so as to understand whether they meet the original direction idea with the composition work. In addition, we expect further developments of post-production methods, exceeding the limit of graphic expression in alignment with the trend that has become more various in the types and genres of non-photo rendering.

The Effects of Mothers' Rejective Parenting, Emotional Expressivity and Children's Emotional Regulation Strategy on their Social Withdrawal (유아의 사회적 위축에 대한 어머니의 거부적 양육행동과 정서표현성 및 유아의 정서조절전략의 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of mothers' rejective parenting, emotional expressivity, children's emotional regulation strategy on their social withdrawal. Participants were 223 children(121 boys, 102 girls; recruited from classes with 4-5 year olds), their mothers and 20 child care teachers. The teachers completed rating scales to measure the children's social withdrawal and emotional regulation strategies. Mothers reported their rejective parenting along with emotional expressivity. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's productive correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regressions. Results showed that mothers' rejective parenting, children's venting/support seeking strategy and avoidance/non-responsive strategy had positive relation to, whereas mother's positive expressivity were negatively related to their social withdrawal. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the interaction of mother's rejective parenting and positive expressivity predicted children's social withdrawal. Mother's rejective parenting was associated with children's social withdrawal, especially for children with the lowest level of mother's positive expressivity. In addition, the association between mother's rejective parenting and children's social withdrawal were partially mediated by their venting/support seeking strategy.

Aesthetical Expression Of Contourline Using Real-Time Camera (실시간 카메라를 이용한 등고선의 미학적 표현 연구 - 라인드로잉으로서의 등고선 표현 방법 연구)

  • The image as a media has changed consistently since it was first introduced. According to these changes, the image has been reproduced in different fields and contexts. Thus, the paradigm on the production and the consumption of the image has been changed and recycled rapidly. The relation between the production and the consumption of the image also has changed accordingly, allowing quite ambiguous distinction between the producer and the consumer. The transformation through the transfer of the image among different fields opens up a new potential that these reproduced images could be used as an aesthetically expressive tool, rather than merely leaving images to remain royal to its original function as a sign. The thesis is to explore the potential that the topographical lines have beyond its function as a sign age. During the reproduction of the image, the process actively invites the spectator or the consumer to participate in the formation of the image, which promotes a new relation between the producer and the consumer. Instead, the process encourages the consumers to be active producers as well. As a result, the topographical lines do not merely remain as a sign that demarcates the height of the topography, and new images are constantly reproduced from the active participants. This project questions the fixed idea on the sign as a communicative tool, and suggests a new potential for the sign, especially, the topographical lines.
