  • A change in industrial education has been demanded with the emergence of rapidly changing knowledge-based society. Keeping pace with the current trend, the Specialized High Schools should analyze what their students need and suggest what they should do to be qualified for work. Even though the education paradigm is in the process of change from traditional industrial society to knowledge-based society, the Specialized High School still focuses on the out-of-trend traditional curriculum. Now, it's a time to introduce new curriculum which analyzes on-the-spot tasks and enhances students' creativity and capability to solve problems. For this study, new '3-Type school curriculum' models are examined. Furthermore, the on-the-spot based curriculum, which nurtures students' creativity and capability to take care of things should be adopted. This paper showed a direction toward the activation and generalization of the industrial education by specifying to which direction the 3-type curriculum-based the Specialized Vocational High School should move.

And then it put the math curricula from the seventh one to current the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum in seventh mathematics curriculum period as the knowledge-based information society paradigm has continued throughout those math curricula. Based on those period categories, We compared and analyzed changes of the middle school math textbooks. For the comparison and analysis of math textbooks between the two periods, this study set the unit organization system, unit goal, task type and content development approach as analysis elements in the unit of 'Nature of Figures' in the second grade math textbooks for middle school. As a result of the research, it was confirmed that the textbooks of the two periods had many changes in the unit organization system, but the unit goal, task type, and content development approach stayed in low level goals and task type that require conceptual and procedural.

  • In this paper, we present the college curriculum for the acoustics and audio engineering on digital convergence environment. For these purposes, we categorized the colleges which linked on the ASA and AES websites into three types according to their characteristics such as an acoustics-oriented type, an applied-acoustics type, and a convergence-oriented type. And a basic step-by-step curriculum model for the audio acoustics is suggested based on the characteristics of the category analysis. The proposed model can be effectively used to build an acoustics and audio technology course at the domestic colleges.
