유아영재와 일반유아의 K-ABC 프로파일 분석 (Analysis of K-ABC Profile of Young Gifted Children and Ordinary Young Children)

  • 본 연구에서는 유아영재 51명과 일반유아 51명을 대상으로 한국판 K-ABC의 프로파일을 분석하고 비교하였다. 유아영재와 일반유아의 K-ABC 프로파일을 분석하여 비교하기 위해 상관분석과 교차분석을 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반유아의 경우는 얼굴기억 검사를 제외한 모든 인지처리 하위검사들이 인지 처리과정척도와 정적상관이 유의하였으나 유아영재의 경우는 손동작, 수회생, 얼굴기억, 위치기억검사와의 상관만이 통계적으로 유의하였다. 유아영재의 경우, 인지처리 과정척도와 습득도척도와 유의한 상관이 없었으나 일반유아는 습득도 척도와 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아영재와 일반유아의 인지처리 하위검사와 습득도 하위검사의 강점과 약점에 차이가 있을 것인지를 살펴본 결과, 모든 하위 검사에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아영재와 일반영재의 K-ABC종합척도 프로파일을 비교한 결과, 순차처리 동시처리 척도간의 비교와 동시처리척도 습득도척도간의 비교에서는 유의한 차이가 없었으나 유아영재는 습득도 척도에 비해 순차처리척도와 인지처리과정척도의 접수가 높은 경우가 일반유아에 비해 보다 더 많은 것으로 나타났다.

유아기 자녀 성학대 자기보호 교육을 위한 부모 교육프로그램 개발 기초 연구 (A Preliminary Study to Develop a Parent Education Program Concerning Young Child Sexual Abuse Self-Protection)

  • For the purpuse of gathering basic information to develop the education program for parent to become educators of young child for sexual abuse(YCSA) self-protection, 298 mothers of 4- to 6-years old children responded to a questionnaire to measure their needs for YCSA self-protection education and knowledge of characteristics related to YCSA. Results related to the needs of mothers showed that 30.4% of them were educated for YCSA protection and 64.6% had provided YCSA self-protection education to their children. However, it was also found that even mothers who had frequently been educated on protection skills regarding YCSA encountered problems as a result of insufficient information and materials concerning YCSA protection education. The mothers in the study subsequently recommended that from age 4 years young children should be educated about YCSA by parents and teachers together. And most of them expected young children to learn some skills to cope with YCSA, with parent education programs for YCSA also recommended by the mothers. Mothers' characteristics such as knowledge about YCSA, myths and stereotypes toward YCSA showed meaningful correlations with mother's demographic variables, not with children's variables. The study concludes that developing the requested parent education program should be done in consideration of parent's needs and characteristics related to the YCSA self-protection.

유아의 주의력 수준에 따른 창의성의 차이 (The Differences of Creativity according to Level of Attentional Abilities in Young Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to identity the differences of creativity according to levels of attentional abilities in young children. The participants of this study were 204 5-year-old children from the kindergarten or daycare center in Busan. The tests was conducted by using ANT and TTCT for young children. The study used two independent t-tests to find out the differences of creativity between high and low young children of degrees of alertness, orientation and executive control. The results of the study are as follows; first, there was a significant difference in creativity, abstractness of titles, and elaboration between high and low young children of varying degrees of alertness. Second, there was not a significant difference in creativity between high and low young children of orientation. Third, there was a significant difference in creativity; fluency, originality, elaboration and resistance to premature closure between high and low young children of the executive control. Therefore, there was a close relation between attentional control abilities, especially the executive control and creativity of young children.

체험 중심 경제교육 프로그램이 유아의 경제개념과 구매행동에 미치는 영향 (Effects of an Experience-Based Economic Education Program on Young Children's Economic Concepts and Purchasing Behavior)

  • This study developed an experience-based economic education program and examined its effects on young children's economic concepts and purchasing behavior. Subjects were 60 5-year-old kindergarteners assigned to an experimental or a control group. Instruments for pre- and post-tests were the Economic Concept Task (Laney, 1995) and the Purchasing Behavior Task (Jang, 2004). Experimental group children participated in the economic education program for 5 weeks; control group children listened to economic stories. Differences between pre- and post-test in the experimental group showed that the economic education program was effective in development of concepts of scarcity, opportunity cost, resource/production, goods/services, and complements/substitutes. Children's purchasing behavior changed partially after application of the program.

미술치료기법을 적용한 미술활동이 유아의 일상적 스트레스 및 사회적 유능성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Art Education Program Based on Art Therapy for Young Children on Daily Stress and Social Competence)

  • The objective of this study is to assess the effect of art activities of young children by utilizing the art therapy techniques on the daily stress and social competence of the young children. Out of children at the age of 5 in two classes of H kindergarten in P city, the study of 25 and controlling group of 25 are allocated to make a total number of 50 study objects. After pretests on the surveyed and controlling groups, 2-3times a week, totaling 12times of experimental treatments are made by selecting the art works of easy application on the education fields for the young children. The outcome of this study is as follow. First, the surveyed group participating in the art activities based on art therapy techniques gets lower points than the controlling group in criticism-attacking circumstance, anxious-frustrated circumstance, pride-deteriorated situation and the general daily stress. Second, the surveyed group participating in the art activities based on art therapy techniques gets higher points than the controlling group in positive-social activities, anxious-contracted activities, angry-aggressive activities and the general social competency.

박물관 교육 프로그램이 유아의 자아존중감 및 미술능력 향상에 미치는 효과 (The Effectiveness of a Museum Education Program : Enhancing Self-Esteem and Art Ability in Young Children)

  • Twenty-five 6- and 7-year-old children participated in the museum education program held at two museums attached to Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, Korea. Each museum was named in honor of a great artist; i.e. Moon, Shin and Jung, Youngyang and his/her artistic works. The main museum education activities included guided observation, discussion, and expressive activities using various materials. It consisted of eight sessions of about two hours each. Results showed that the self-esteem and artistic ability of children that participated in the museum education program increased more than the control group. These results affirmed the value of museum education for young children.

A Study on the Actual Condition of Smartphone Usage and the Influential Variables of 3 to 5 Years Old Children

  • As the tendency of children's overdependence on smart phones increased, it was obligatory to carry out preventive education more than once a year in kindergarten and day care center, but there is no specific guidance on contents and method of preventive education. This is due to the lack of prior studies on the actual use of smartphones and the influence variables of infants and young children. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of use time, frequency of use, and sociological background variables on the actual situation of smartphone usage and overdependency on smartphone among 3-5 year old children nationwide. For the analysis, the frequency of the use of smartphone for 3-5 year old children was analyzed by frequency analysis, and the influence variables were correlated and multiple regression analysis. Research shows that smartphone overdependence of 3-5 year old children have an influence on the use time and frequency of use. The results should include content that restricts the use time and frequency of use of smartphones and prevention education programs for 3-5 year olds and young children. Suggesting a need for a transition to the educational method used.

언어네트워크 분석방법을 활용한 유아환경교육에서 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결전략 분석 (Analysis of Teacher's Verbal Interactions and Problem Solving Strategies in Young Children's Environmental Education Using Language Network Analysis Methods)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 언어네트워크를 활용하여 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결전략의 구성을 살펴보고자 함이다. 본 연구에서는 유아환경교육 과정에서 발생한 교사의 발화를 수집하여, 범주를 개발하고 자료를 코딩하여 하위범주 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사의 언어적 상호작용에서는 정보제공하기가 가장 중심에 위치하여 통합하기와 함께 높은 영향력을 보였다. 둘째, 교사의 문제해결전략에서는 제안이 가장 중심에 위치하여 확산적 사고와 높은 영향력을 보였다. 셋째, 교사의 언어적 상호작용과 문제해결력을 종합적으로 살펴보면, 제안이 가장 중심에 위치하고, 정보제공하기, 확산적 사고 등이 강한 연결성을 보였다. 이외에 제안과 의사결정이 문제관심을 매개로 평가와 연결성을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 유아환경교육에 있어 교사가 유아의 문제해결과정을 지원하여 상호작용하기 위해서 유아의 반응에 맥락적으로 반응하고 이해할 수 있는 교사의 역량강화 교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

어린이급식관리지원센터, 유아교육기관과 가정을 연계한 영양교육 프로그램의 개발 및 효과에 대한 연구 (Study on Development and Evaluation of Nutritional Education Program for Preschool Children in Association with Center for Children's Foodservice Management, Childcare Facilities and Home)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a nutritional education program for preschool children in association with Center for Children's Foodservice Management, childcare facilities and home in order to provide nutritional knowledge and change food attitudes in children. The program was repeated three times using the same educational theme and consisted three steps. Step 1 involved visiting education with teaching tools by a dietician. Step 2 involved home education with a worksheet and participating in events with parents. Step 3 involved repeated education with a textbook by a preschool teacher education reports sent to the center. The subjects of this study were 3 to 5-year-old children at 89 childcare facilities located in Busanjingu. Interest in meals at childcare facilities, dietary guidance for parents of children, and dietary attitudes of children were evaluated before and after education. Number of parents interested in meals managed by childcare facilities (kitchen visiting, meals observation, progress of children's education) increased after education. Mean scores for meal awareness in parents in the form of three questions (proper food distribution, hand washing before mealtime, nutritional and hygienic satisfaction with meals) significantly (p<0.05) increased after education. Mean dietary guidance for parents' scores for all questions except table manner significantly (p<0.01) increased after education. Mean dietary attitudes for children in the form of six questions (try to eat various vegetable, eat meals without leaving, wash hands before mealtime, eat cleanly, reduce sodium intake and keep table manner) also significantly (p<0.001) increased after education. As a results, the nutritional education program applied in this study, positive influenced children's nutritional knowledge and dietary attitudes, and parents' dietary guidance of children.

교육부 중심 0-5세 유아학교 모델(안)의 단계별 정책 방향과 과제: 설립주체와 교사고용의 관점을 중심으로 (Step-by-step Policy Directions and Tasks of the 0-5-year-old Young Children School Model centered the Ministry of Education: Focusing on the Perspective of the Establishment Entity and Teacher Employment)

  • 현재, 교육부 장관이 교육부 중심으로 유보통합추진하는 것을 공식 발표하였다. 유보통합의 핵심은 유치원과 어린이집의 통합으로, 구체적인 모델(안)을 개발할 필요가 있어 본 연구를 수행하였다. 유보통합 논의 이후 유아학교를 중심으로 논의가 되어 왔고, 구체적인 사안에서 의견 차이가 있었다. 이에 본 연구는 교육부 중심으로 유치원과 어린이집이 통합된 이후 유아학교 모델(안)의 단계별 방향을 제안하고자 수행하였다. 연구문제는 교육부 중심 0-5세 유아학교 모델(안)은 어떠한지 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 유보통합이 실현된 이후의 설립유형별 유아교육기관 통합 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결론으로 첫째, 국가책임 단계별 0-5세 유아학교 모델(안)이 요구된다. 둘째, 다양한 설립유형별 특성을 반영한 세부적인 유아학교 모델(안)이 개발되어야 한다. 셋째, 유아학교 체제시 교원양성체계 개편, 방과후과정 운영 모델, 교육청 및 지자체 통합 방안 등의 구체적인 방안이 제시되어야 한다.
