해사대학 학생의 건강증진행위 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Health Promotion Behavior by Students of the College of Maritime Sciences)

  • 해사대학 학생은 졸업 후 우리나라 해운산업 발전을 이끌 중요한 전문인력이므로, 건강증진행위를 통해 성공적으로 이론과 실습 교육과정을 포함한 학교생활을 마치는 것이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 해사대학 학생의 건강증진 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초자료 수집을 위해 해사대학 학생의 건강증진행위 영향요인을 파악하기 위한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 해사대학 학생의 건강증진행위 수준은 다른 대학생들보다 낮았으며, 건강증진행위 하부 영역은 대인관계, 영적성장, 스트레스관리, 영양습관, 신체활동, 건강책임감 순으로 낮아졌고, 건강증진행위에 가장 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 학습자의 수업참여, 건강증진 자기효능감, 자아존중감, 사회적 지지의 순인 것으로 확인 되었다. 해사대학 학생들의 건강증진행위를 향상시킬 수 있도록 학생들의 특성을 고려한 차별화된 건강증진 프로그램을 개발하고 입학 때부터 조기에 체계적인 적용이 요구된다.

의과대학생이 생각하는 좋은 일자리 유형에 관한 Q방법론 연구 (Q-Methodology Study on Medical Students' Perceptions of Good Jobs)

  • This study investigated medical students' perceptions of good jobs. We classified medical students' perceptions of good jobs and analyzed the characteristics of each type. The Q methodology was used to extract medical students' subjective thoughts. After extracting statements based on previous studies, 46 Q samples were selected. The P sample consisted of 40 medical students divided evenly by gender and grade. They performed a Q sort of the 46 Q sample questionnaire and the results were analyzed using the QUANL ver. 1.2 program. Very few consensus statements were found in the replies. We divided answers into four types, each of which was clearly distinguished: (1) quality of life-oriented jobs, (2) reward-oriented jobs, (3) service-oriented jobs, and (4) self-realization-oriented jobs. Medical students in type 1 prioritized quality of life equally at work and at home. Medical students in type 2 preferred high-paying jobs. Medical students in type 3 placed importance on serving others. Finally, medical students in type 4 viewed good jobs as involving learning and development. The types of jobs sought were classified according to individual students' values and subjectivity. Medical schools may use the results of this study as a basis for career guidance.

가천대학교 의과대학 졸업 후 진로지도 프로그램 설계와 운영 (Design and Implementation of a Career Guidance Program at Gachon University College of Medicine)

  • The ultimate goal of career guidance is to help medical students develop a career plan that matches their personal characteristics, allows them to train in their desired subspecialty, and helps them to adapt well to medical practice after graduation. Gachon Medical School has designed a longitudinal career guidance program called GLORI (Gachon Longitudinal Orientation and Career Development), which is based on the outcome of each phase. The program consists of regular courses and portfolio-based career guidance from a mentor professor. In phase 2 (basic medical science), the "Career Seminar" course was developed. This course focuses on self-understanding through a psychological inventory, exploration of postgraduate career paths, and interviews with professors in specialties of interest. In phase 3 (the integration of basic and clinical science), the "Exploring Nonclinical Career Options" course was introduced. This course presents perspectives from doctors who have followed various pioneering career trajectories, including biomedical engineering, medical journalism, writing, public health, health care administration, the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, and other areas. All teaching methods were designed to encourage student participation. The assessment methods are assignment-based, including self-reflective reports and presentations. In addition, a portfolio-based career guidance program is implemented in phases 3 and 4 (clinical clerkship). It is expected that this case study will serve as a practical example for developing comprehensive career guidance programs for medical schools.

간호대학생의 범문화 효능감과 문화적 공감이 인간중심간호역량에 미치는 영향 (Predictors of Transcultural Self-efficacy and Cultural Empathy on Person-centered Care Competency in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose : Establishing competency in person-centered care is crucial for providing high-quality nursing care in diverse clinical settings and adapting to changing roles in different situations. This study aimed to explore the level of transcultural self-efficacy, cultural empathy, and person-centered care competency among nursing students, as well as identify the factors influencing their person-centered care competency. The findings will serve as fundamental data to enhance person-centered care competency. Methods : A questionnaire consisting of items on general characteristics, person-centered care competency, transcultural self-efficacy, and cultural empathy was administered to 175 nursing students in G city. Data were collected from March 5, 2023, to March 20, 2023. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to examine the correlation among transcultural self-efficacy, cultural empathy, and person-centered care competency. Multiple regression analysis was employed to determine the factors influencing person-centered care competency. Results : The person-centered care competency scores were above the average level and varied according to department satisfaction (F=13.79, p<.001), subjective well-being (t=3.34, p=.015), and interpersonal relations (F=5.74, p=.001). Person-centered care competency exhibited a significant positive correlation with cultural empathy (r=.51, p<.001) and transcultural self-efficacy (r=.49, p<.001). Regression analysis confirmed that cultural empathy (β=.39, p<.001) and transcultural self-efficacy (β=.22, p<.001) were influential factors for nursing students' person-centered care competency, with the model explaining 37 % of the variance. Conclusion : Cultural empathy and transcultural self-efficacy are significant factors influencing the person-centered care competency of nursing students. It is crucial to encourage nursing students to develop person-centered care competency by fostering cultural empathy and transcultural self-efficacy. Further research is needed to identify additional factors affecting person-centered care competency among nursing students. Additionally, the development of education programs aimed at enhancing person-centered care competency is necessary.

코로나19 전후에 따른 튜터링 프로그램 참여대학생의 핵심역량이 학습만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Core Competence of University Students Participating in Tutoring Program on Learning Satisfaction in COVID-19)

  • 본 연구는 코로나19 전후에 따른 튜터링 프로그램 참여대학생의 핵심역량이 학습만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴봄으로써 대학 정책 내 비교과 프로그램 개발과 운영 방향에 관한 새로운 시사점을 제공하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 코로나19 이전 튜터링 프로그램에 참여대학생 33명, 코로나19 이후 튜터링 프로그램에 참여대학생 72명을 대상으로 설문하여 통계처리 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 코로나19 이전 H대학의 핵심역량의 구성 요인 중 자기혁신, 도전, 소통, 조화, 성실, 문제해결과 학습만족도 간의 상관관계에서 정적인 상관관계가 있었고, 코로나19 이후 핵심역량의 자기혁신, 도전, 소통, 조화, 성실, 문제해결과 학습만족도 간의 상관관계가 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 코로나19 이전을 살펴보면, 핵심역량이 학습만족도에 높은 설명력으로 영향을 미치지만, 도전을 제외하고 나머지 구성요인의 각각에서는 통계적으로 유의한 요인이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 코로나19 이후를 살펴보면, 핵심역량이 학습만족도에 높은 비율로 설명력 확보되었고, 핵심역량의 구성 요인 중 자기혁신, 조화는 학습만족도에 긍정적인 영향을, 도전이 학습만족도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인할 수 있었다. 이 연구의 시사점은 튜터링 프로그램에 참여대학생에게 대면으로 진행할때는 도전요인을 강조가 필요하고, 비대면으로 진행할 때는 도전요인보다는 자기혁신요인이나 조화요인을 강조하는 것이 필요하다.

간호대학생을 위한 질 향상과 안전 역량강화 교육 프로그램 개발 및 효과 평가 (Development and Evaluation of Competency Based Quality Improvement and Safety Education Program for Undergraduate Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a competency based safety and quality improving education program for undergraduate nursing students. Methods: A quasi-experimental study of a non-equivalent control group pre and post test design was used. The participants were sixty-eight undergraduate nursing students recruited from the two universities in G and M cities. They were assigned to either a treatment group (n=35) or a comparison group (n=33). A five-day educational program developed based on the ADDIE Instructional Design Model was offered to the treatment group whereas the comparison group did not receive any instruction. Data were collected using self-report structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 with the $x^2$ test, and independent t-test. Results: The students in the treatment group reported significant positive changes for patient safety knowledge, skill and perception of quality and safety competencies. Conclusion: Findings from this study supports that competency based quality improving and safety education program is a useful intervention strategy to promote student's knowledge, skill and perception of quality and safety competencies.

국내 간호대학생의 셀프리더십 관련변인에 대한 체계적 문헌고찰 및 메타분석 (Variables related to self-leadership of Korean nursing students: A systematic review and meta-analysis)

  • Purpose: This study considers the variables related to self-leadership of Korean nursing students and verifies the results of precedent studies through meta-analysis. Methods: This study selected a total of 48 precedent studies regarding the investigation of the correlation between variables related to self-leadership of nursing students conducted between 2009 and 2019 and carried out a meta-analysis. Results: For the effect size of variables related to self-leadership of nursing students, individual characteristics had a medium effect size (ESr=.49) and the effect size was larger for meta-cognition (ESr=.65), emotional intelligence (ESr=.58), and self-efficacy (ESr=.54). The characteristics of nursing competency (ESr=.45) also had a medium effect size and the effect size was larger for professional self-concept (ESr=.60), social support (ESr=.58), and critical thinking (ESr=.56). This result shows that individual characteristics were highly correlated with self-leadership compared to the characteristics of nursing competency. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it verified the effect of variables related to self-leadership and presented the direction and preliminary data for a follow-up study. It is necessary to include variables considering individual characteristics in the development of an educational program for improving self-leadership in the future.

표준화 환자를 활용한 정신시뮬레이션 실습프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Efficacy of Psychiatric Nursing Simulation Practical Training program Using Standardized Patients)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 대상으로 표준화 환자를 활용한 정신시뮬레이션 실습프로그램을 개발 및 적용하여 효과를 검증하기 위해 시도 되었다. 본 연구는 단일군 사전·사후설계 연구이며 자료수집은 J소재 일개 대학 간호학과 학생 186명에게 구조화된 설문지를 제공하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/WIN 27.0 program을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 표준화 환자를 활용한 정신 시뮬레이션 실습 교육 프로그램은 대상자의 의사소통능력(t=-2.575, p=001), 학습자기효능감(t=-2.228, p=.026)과 문제해결능력(t=-2.298, p=.017)을 향상시키는데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과 간호대학생의 현장 적응 능력을 향상하기 위해 실제 상황과 유사한 환경을 조성하고 필요한 자원을 활용한 다양한 사례를 적용한 시뮬레이션 실습 교육프로그램을 개발 및 적용할 필요가 있다.

간호학생을 대상으로 한 통합(모성-아동) 시뮬레이션 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of Integrated Simulation Program (Maternal-Child) for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was done to analyze the effectiveness of simulation-based integrated practice program (maternal-child) on nursing knowledge, self-confidence, and clinical competence of nursing students. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pre-post experimental design was used to compare experimental and control group. The experimental group received the integrated simulation practice and the control group received a separate simulation for maternal care and for newborn care. Results: The experimental group who had the integrated simulation had significantly higher scores for self-efficacy on nursing handover (F=0.480 p=.012) and oxygen therapy in newborn care (F=3.262 p=.037), and for clinical competence (F=2.639, p<.001) and personal satisfaction with debriefing compared to the control group (F=2.179, p=.044). But the experimental group did not have significantly higher scores in nursing knowledge. Conclusions The results indicate that an integrated simulation practice is an effective practice method to improve self-confidence, clinical competence and satisfaction. Also this study had significance in providing a setting similar to the clinical situation.

평가 기반 학생 주도형 비만관리 프로그램 개발 및 적용 (Development and Application of an Evaluation-Based, Student-Led Obesity Program)

  • This study evaluated the effectiveness of an obesity program developed to solve 'obesity', which was selected as the top priority for urgent improvement among the dietary problems of elementary school students in Busan. The program aimed to practice four health rules every day (sleep early, eat two vegetables with each meal, reduce sugary snacks, and exercise for 30 minutes every day). The participants were trained to practice the four rules online in real time every day for three weeks, and their performance in nutrition education tasks was monitored using Padlet. The anthropometric measurements showed no change in the overall average weight before and after participating in the program, but all students grew in height (z=-6.978, P<0.001), and the number of obese students decreased significantly (z=-3.317, P<0.001). This obesity program was effective in improving height growth and obesity in elementary school students. In terms of dietary changes, after participating in the program, the frequency of vegetable consumption increased significantly (z=-4.849, P<0.001), the frequency of sweet snack consumption decreased significantly (z=-4.298, P<0.001), and the bedtime improved (z=-1.000). Therefore, the non-face-to-face, self-directed obesity program developed in this study is expected to reduce the workload of nutrition teachers carrying a heavy workload such as meal service and nutrition classes, and can be used as an efficient nutrition counseling program.
