  • The purpose of this paper is to introduce the notions of L-fuzzy topological towers by using a completely distributive lattic L and show that the category L-FPrTR of L-fuzzy pretopoplogical tower spaces and the category L-FPsTR of L-fuzzy pseudotopological tower spaces are extensional topological constructs. And we show that L-FPsTR is the cartesian closed topological extension of L-FPrTR. Hence we show that L-FPsTR is a topological universe.

  • The goal of this paper is to study extension problems of several continuities in computer topology. To be specific, for a set $X\;{\subset}\;Z^n$ take a subspace (X, $T_n^X$) induced from the Khalimsky nD space ($Z^n$, $T^n$). Considering (X, $T_n^X$) with one of the k-adjacency relations of $Z^n$, we call it a computer topological space (or a space if not confused) denoted by $X_{n,k}$. In addition, we introduce several kinds of k-retracts of $X_{n,k}$, investigate their properties related to several continuities and homeomorphisms in computer topology and study extension problems of these continuities in relation with these k-retracts.

  • Let $(X,\;B,\;{\mu},\;T)$ be a dynamical system and (Y, A, v, S) be a factor. We investigate the relative sequence entropy of a partition of X via the maximal compact extension of (Y, A, v, S). We define relative sequence entropy pairs and using them, we find the relative topological ${\mu}-Kronecker$ factor over (Y, v) which is the maximal topological factor having relative discrete spectrum over (Y, v). We also describe the topological Kronecker factor which is the maximal factor having discrete spectrum for any invariant measure.

  • Plane sweep plays an important role in computational geometry. This paper shows that an extension of topological plane sweep to three-dimensional space can calculate the volume swept by rotating a solid polyhedral object about a fixed axis. Analyzing the characteristics of rotational swept volumes, we present an incremental algorithm based on the three-dimensional topological sweep technique. Our solution shows the time bound of O(n²·2?+T?), where n is the number of vertices in the original object and T? is time for handling face cycles. Here, α(n) is the inverse of Ackermann's function.

  • Any Hausdoroff space on a set which has at least two points a regular closed Boolean algebra different from the indiscrete regular closed Boolean algebra as indiscrete space. The Sierpinski space and the space with finite complement topology on any infinite set etc. do the same. However, there is $T_{0}$ space which does the same with Hausdorpff space as above. The regular closed Boolean algebra in a topological space is isomorphic to that algebra in the space with its open extension topology.

  • Every closed subset of a compact topological space is compact. Also every compact subset of a Hausdorff topological space is closed. It follows that compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets in a compact Hausdorff space. It is also proved that a topological space is maximal compact if and only if its compact subsets are precisely the closed subsets. A locale is a categorical extension of topological spaces and a frame is an object in its opposite category. We investigate to find whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a compact Hausdorff frame. We also try to investigate whether the closed sublocales are exactly the compact sublocales of a maximal compact frame.

  • Recently, Kazmi and Khan [7] introduced a kind of equilibrium problem called generalized system (GS) with a single-valued bi-operator F. In this note, we aim at an extension of (GS) due to Kazmi and Khan [7] into a multi-valued circumstance. We consider a fairly general problem called the multi-valued quasi-generalized system (in short, MQGS). Based on the existence of 1-person game by Ding, Kim and Tan [5], we give a generalization of (GS) in the name of (MQGS) within the framework of Hausdorff topological vector spaces. As an application, we derive an existence result of the generalized vector quasi-variational inequality problem. This result leads to a multi-valued vector quasi-variational inequality extension of the strong vector variational inequality (SVVI) due to Fang and Huang [6] in a general Hausdorff topological vector space.

  • In this paper, we prove that the topological entropy of a sequence of equi-continuous monotone maps $f_{1,\infty}={f_i}\;\infty\limits_{i=1}$on circles is $h(f_{1,\infty})={\frac{lim\;sup}{n{\rightarrow}\infty}}\;\frac 1 n \;log\;{\prod}\limits_{i=1}^n|deg\;f_i|$. As applications, we give the estimation of the entropies for some skew products on annular and torus. We also show that a diffeomorphism f on a smooth 2-dimensional closed manifold and its extension on the unit tangent bundle have the same entropy.
