4D 공정관리시스템의 개발현황 조사연구 (Introducing and Surveying 4D Models in AEC Industry)

  • 공정관리분야 전산 소프트웨어는 개발초기의 단순한 일정계산결과 제공에서 기성관리, 진도관리, 자원관리 등의 결과까지 제공하고 있으나, 여전히 2D 개념의 분석결과만을 제공하고 있다. 최근 국내외에서 개발되고 있는 공정관리시스템은 기존의 2D 공정표 (시간)와 3D 도면 (공간)을 연계한 4D 개념으로 발전되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 4D 시스템의 기본적 접근이론과 현재까지 개발된 대표적 4D 시스템들의 주요 기능분석을 통하여, 현재의 4D 공정관리시스템이 갖고 있는 활용상 문제점과 향후 개선방향을 분석하였다.

플래시를 이용한 웹기반 일정관리 도구 개발 (Development of a Web-based Schedule Tool Using Flash)

  • 건설공사의 일정관리는 주어진 기간 내에 프로젝트를 완수하기 위한 중요한 수단이다. 액티비티의 수가 많아지고 복잡한 선후행 관계가 형성될수록 일정관리 소프트웨어를 활용해야 하는 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 또한 정보통신기술이 발달하면서 웹기반의 프로젝트관리 기술과 도구도 발전하고 있고 다수의 프로그램도 개발되어 있다. 본 연구는 웹 기반에서 일정관리 도구를 개발하기 위해 상호작용성이 우수한 플래시를 이용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법을 구현하기 위해 플래시와 액션스크립트로 프로토타입을 작성하였고 웹 화면에서 공정표를 표현하여 적용성을 검토하였다.

Schedule Optimization in Resource Leveling through Open BIM Based Computer Simulations

  • In this research, schedule optimization is defined as balancing the number of workers while keeping the demand and needs of the project resources, creating the perfect schedule for each activity. Therefore, when one optimizes a schedule, multiple potentials of schedule changes are assessed to get an instant view of changes that avoid any over and under staffing while maximizing productivity levels for the available labor cost. Optimizing the number of workers in the scheduling process is not a simple task since it usually involves many different factors to be considered such as the development of quantity take-offs, cost estimating, scheduling, direct/indirect costs, and borrowing costs in cash flow while each factor affecting the others simultaneously. That is why the optimization process usually requires complex computational simulations/modeling. This research attempts to find an optimal selection of daily maximum workers in a project while considering the impacts of other factors at the same time through OPEN BIM based multiple computer simulations in resource leveling. This paper integrates several different processes such as quantity take-offs, cost estimating, and scheduling processes through computer aided simulations and prediction in generating/comparing different outcomes of each process. To achieve interoperability among different simulation processes, this research utilized data exchanges supported by building SMART-IFC effort in automating the data extraction and retrieval. Numerous computer simulations were run, which included necessary aspects of construction scheduling, to produce sufficient alternatives for a given project.

A Stay Detection Algorithm Using GPS Trajectory and Points of Interest Data

  • Points of interest (POIs) are widely used in tourism recommendations and to provide information about areas of interest. Currently, situation judgement using POI and GPS data is mainly rule-based. However, this approach has the limitation that inferences can only be made using predefined POI information. In this study, we propose an algorithm that uses POI data, GPS data, and schedule information to calculate the current speed, location, schedule matching, movement trajectory, and POI coverage, and uses machine learning to determine whether to stay or go. Based on the input data, the clustered information is labelled by k-means algorithm as unsupervised learning. This result is trained as the input vector of the SVM model to calculate the probability of moving and staying. Therefore, in this study, we implemented an algorithm that can adjust the schedule using the travel schedule, POI data, and GPS information. The results show that the algorithm does not rely on predefined information, but can make judgements using GPS data and POI data in real time, which is more flexible and reliable than traditional rule-based approaches. Therefore, this study can optimize tourism scheduling. Therefore, the stay detection algorithm using GPS movement trajectories and POIs developed in this study provides important information for tourism schedule planning and is expected to provide much value for tourism services.

  • This paper presents a system called a Cash-flow based Construction Schedule Optimization system(CfSO). The existing CPM effectively handles schedule and cost management. However, funding strategy should be considered to obtain maximum profit and to progress a project favorably. One of measures is to coordinate the contract terms between owner and subcontractors (or suppliers). Contractor may decrease the interest cost attributed to project financing by adjusting the timing of cash-inflows and cash-outflows. It is an excellent method maximizing profits. This paper presents a method to estimate the amount of a cash-flow occurred periodically by integrating the terms of contract into scheduling. The proposed method is implemented as a system prototype in Microsoft Excel. This system provides a user an automated tool that identifies an optimal schedule that secures maximum profit by adjusting start and finish times of non-critical activities' free-floats without affecting on the project completion time. This system supports a project manager to establish an optimum project schedule and identifies profitable contractual conditions against to a construction owner.

A Constrained Single Machine Scheduling Model with Earliness/Tardiness and Flow Time Measures

  • This paper considers a single machine nonpreemptive scheduling problem with a given common due date. In the problem, the optimal job sequence is sought to minimize the sum of earliness/tardiness and flow time measures in the situation where all jobs are available at time zero, and weights per unit length of earliness/tardiness and flow time are V and W, respectively. Some dominant solution properties are characterized to deriva both an optimal starting time for an arbitrary sequence and sequence improvement rules. The optimal schedule is found to the case W .geq. V/. By the way, it is difficult to find the optimal schedule for the case W < V. Therefore, the derived properties are put on together to construct a heuristic solution algorithm for the case W < V, and its effectiveness is rated at the mean relative error of about 3% on randomly generated numerical problems.

역내 열차 경합 검지 및 해소를 위한 수리 모형 및 해법 (An Algorithm for detection and Resolution of Train Conflicts Occurring Within Station)

  • In large station with high density traffic, trains can be hardly controlled by CTC but by station dispatcher because CTC has difficulties in monitoring all states of affairs happening within each station such as departures, arrivals of many trains from different lines and shunting of trains to move between yards and platforms, etc. Therefore the station's dispatcher has to make quick decision about how to reschedule the times and routes for all the trains scheduled within a specific time window. And such decision becomes harder when an unexpected delay occurs because a delay occurring in a train propagates other trains as time goes on. Generally, it is called the conflict detection and resolution to adjust beforehand the distorted schedule due to a delay to original schedule. Our research is different from the state of the arts in that ours determines simultaneously the routes and the times of arrival and departure of trains, although others do only the arrival and departure time of the trains without considering the alternative routes and shunting of the station. This study suggests a mathematical approach for how to detect in advance and resolve efficiently the conflicts occurring within a station and it will be shown how to reduce delay using our approach by means of analysing the schedule of ChyungRyangRi station.

시간스케쥴을 적용한 수종(數種)의 침엽수(針葉樹) 제재품(製材品)의 건조저항(乾燥抵抗) (Drying Resistance of Some Softwoods Lumbers under Time Schedule)

  • A relationship between drying resistance and moisture content was found for 24, 27 and 30mm thick boards, and 45, 51 and 57mm thick dimensions of Japanese larch. Dahurian larch and radiata pine in order to modify the kiln schedule by using time schedules. The amount of drying resistance for Dahurian larch lumber was the highest, and radiata pine lumber was the lowest, on the basis of the same moisture content range. Drying resistance increased curvilinearly as moisture content decreased, and was higher for thicker lumber than for thinner lumber, at a given moisture content. Combined drying resistance for the three board thicknesses and the three dimension thicknesses showed a comparatively strong for radiata pine and a Japanese larch, while a weak correlation for Dahurian larch as a function of two independent variables, thickness and moisture content of lumber, respectively.

BDM 네트워크 공정 및 비용 진도율 통합관리 개념 (The Concept of Schedule and Cost Progress Integrated Management on the BDM Network)

  • 국내 건설산업에 CPM(critical path method) 공정관리기법이 도입된 지 거의 40년 가까이 경과하고 있다. 그러나 국내건설현장의 대부분은 CPM 공정표를 작성하지 않거나, 발주처의 요구에 의해 수동적으로 작성한 후 운영 및 관리는 거의 하지 않고, 아직도 바차트(bar chart)기법에 의존하여 공정관리를 하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 원인중 하나는 CPM 공정계획이 건설현장의 업무를 정확히 반영하지 못하고 있으며, 공사 진척현황을 시각적으로 명확하게 인식하기 어렵고, 작업들의 일정중심의 공정진도와 기성금액 중심의 비용진도를 효율적으로 통합 관리하지 못하기 때문이다. 본 논문은 새로운 CPM 공정관리기법인 BDM기법을 통해 공정계층체계 내에서 CPM 공정계획이 자동으로 요약되면서 동일한 CPM 형식을 유지하는 기능을 통해, CPM기법의 장점을 그대로 유지하면서도 일정중심의 공정진도율과 기성중심의 비용진도율을 통합 관리할 수 있는 새로운 진도율 관리 개념을 제안한다. 이러한 개념을 통해 국내 건설사업에 CPM 공정관리기법이 실질적으로 적용되고 활성화되어, 공사관리의 효율성이 향상되는 동시에 국내 건설사업관리의 발전에도 일조 할 수 있기를 기대한다.

선형 공정계획 모델의 액티비티 관계의 경계조건 분석 (Analysis of Boundary Conditions for Activities' Relationships in Linear Scheduling Model)

  • 국내 일부 건설사는 초고층 건축공사와 같이 반복 공종이 많은 건축물에 일종의 선형 공정계획인 택트 공정계획을 수립하고 수행하고 있다. 선형 공정계획 모델(Linear Scheduling Model: LSM)은 작업 공간과 시간의 정보를 제공하는 시각적 도구로써 연구가 되어왔다. CPM 네트워크 공정표의 구속조건(종료 후 종료, 시작 후 종료, 종료 후 시작, 시작 후 시작)과 마찬가지로 선형계획모델 또한 작업간의 관계간의 구속조건이 발생한다. 특히, 네트워크 공정표를 호환하기 위하여 작업간의 중요 속성간의 관계성의 경계 조건을 정의하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 선형 공정계획을 수립 시 발생하는 액티비티간의 공간상의 경계조건을 분석한다. 또한 선형 공정계획의 액티비티 간의 관계성을 고려하여 현재 일부 건설회사를 중심으로 사용하고 있는 택트 공정계획에 제안한 경계조건을 반영하여 택트 공정계획 수립과 관리를 위해 고려해야 하는 주요 사항을 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.
