증강현실을 활용한 소집단 학습에서 도구 공유 정도에 따른 현존감, 몰입, 상황흥미의 차이 (Differences in Presence, Immersion, and Situation Interest in Small Group Learning Using Augmented Reality Based on the Degree of Tool Sharing)

  • 이 연구에서는 증강현실을 활용한 소집단 학습에서 도구 공유 정도에 따른 학생들의 현존감, 몰입, 상황흥미의 차이를 조사하였다. 중학교 2학년 학생 84명이 각각 4명씩 소집단을 구성하여 연구에 참여하였다. 각 소집단을 마커와 스마트폰의 공유 여부에 따라 공유 환경(마커와 스마트폰 공유 사용), 혼합 환경(마커 공유 및 스마트폰 개별 사용), 개별 환경(마커와 스마트폰 개별 사용)으로 무선 배치하였다. '물질의 특성' 단원에서 증강현실을 활용한 소집단 학습을 3차시 동안 실시하였다. 종속 변인에 대한 일원 분산 분석 결과, 공유 환경 대비 혼합 환경에서는 현존감과 상황흥미가, 개별 환경에서는 몰입과 상황흥미가 각각 통계적으로 유의하게 더 높았다. 각 종속 변인의 하위요소에 대한 다변량 분산 분석 결과, 현존감에서는 실제성, 몰입에서는 선행요소와 경험요소, 상황흥미에서는 순간적 즐거움, 새로움, 전체 흥미에서 각각 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 면담 및 수업 관찰 결과, 공유 환경과 개별 환경의 학생들은 증강현실을 활용할 때 개별적으로 스마트폰을 사용하는 경향이 있었지만 혼합 환경의 학생들은 스마트폰을 협력적으로 사용하며 더 활발하게 상호작용하는 경향이 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 도구 사용 환경의 측면에서 증강현실을 활용한 소집단 학습의 효과를 높이기 위한 방안을 제안하였다.

하이브리드 센싱 기반 다중참여형 가상현실 이동 플랫폼 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Multi-User Virtual Reality Moving Platform Based on Hybrid Sensing)

  • Recently, high-performance HMDs (Head-Mounted Display) are becoming wireless due to the growth of virtual reality technology. Accordingly, environmental constraints on the hardware usage are reduced, enabling multiple users to experience virtual reality within a single space simultaneously. Existing multi-user virtual reality platforms use the user's location tracking and motion sensing technology based on vision sensors and active markers. However, there is a decrease in immersion due to the problem of overlapping markers or frequent matching errors due to the reflected light. Goal of this study is to develop a multi-user virtual reality moving platform in a single space that can resolve sensing errors and user immersion decrease. In order to achieve this goal hybrid sensing technology was developed, which is the convergence of vision sensor technology for position tracking, IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor motion capture technology and gesture recognition technology based on smart gloves. In addition, integrated safety operation system was developed which does not decrease the immersion but ensures the safety of the users and supports multimodal feedback. A 6 m×6 m×2.4 m test bed was configured to verify the effectiveness of the multi-user virtual reality moving platform for four users.

Evaluation of CPU And RAM Performance for Markerless Augmented Reality

  • Augmented Reality (AR) is an emerging technology and a vibrant field, it has become common in application development, especially in smartphone applications (mobile phones). The AR technology has grown increasingly during the past decade in many fields. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the optimal approach to building the final product by evaluating the performance of each of them separately at a specific task. In this work we evaluated overall CPU and RAM performance for several types of Markerless Augmented Reality applications by using a multiple-objects in mobile development. The results obtained are show that the objects with fewer number of vertices performs steady and not oscillating. Object was superior to the rest of the others is sphere, which is performs better values when processed, its values closer to the minimum CPU and RAM usage.

  • 몰입형 가상현실 시스템은 3차원 탄성파, 검층자료, 해석단면 등 다양한 지하정보를 3차원 공간에 시각화 하고 분석하는데 효과적이다. 이러한 시스템은 석유나 가스 탐사에 중요한 도구로서 사용될 수 있지만, 고가의 제작비용으로 인해 특수한 분야에만 제한적으로 사용되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 몰입감을 극대화 시킬 수 있는 가상현실 시스템인 CAVE(Cave Automatic Virtual Environment)를 일반 PC와 프로젝터를 이용하여 적은 비용으로 구축한 사례를 제시한다.

간호대학생의 가상현실 기반 해부학교육 프로그램의 사용성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Usability of Virtual Reality based Anatomy Education Programs of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to confirm the usability of virtual reality-based anatomy education programs for nursing college students and to identify factors that affect their usability. Methods: Data were collected from 143 nursing college students in Gyeonggi-do using a structured questionnaire from May to June 2022. The data analysis was analyzed using real numbers, percentages, means and standard deviation, ANOVA, Scheff's test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. Results: The subject's usability was 4.26 points (out of 5). The variable that has the greatest influence on the usability of virtual reality-based anatomy education programs is perceived innovation (β=.370, p<.001), followed by perceived pleasure (β=.295, p=.001), perceived ease (β=.253, p<.001), smartphone usage time per day (β=.102, p=.031). These variables explained 70.6% of the usability of virtual reality-based anatomy education programs. Conclusion: The results of this study can be utilized as basic data for a virtual reality-based anatomy education program that will be developed and applied to nursing students in the future.

패션 산업의 디지털 전환에 따른 증강현실 기술의 활용특성 (Characteristics of Application of Augmented Reality Technology according to the Digital Transformation in the Fashion Industry)

  • 팬데믹 환경의 지속과 더불어 패션 산업의 다양한 분야에서 디지털 전환이 적용되고 있다. 증강현실 기술은 현실 세계에 가상의 이미지를 오버랩해서 보여주는 형태로 비대면 환경하에서 온라인 쇼핑이 확대되면서 패션, 뷰티 분야에서 증강현실 기술의 활용이 소비자 만족도 및 매출 증대에 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 전환에 따른 패션산업에서 활용되고 있는 증강현실 콘텐츠의 특성을 의상, 액세서리, 패션스토어 및 AR패션쇼 분야까지 확장하여 증강현실의 사례 특성을 분석하였다. 패션 산업의 증강현실 기술은 마케팅 활동을 통해 SNS나 홈페이지를 통한 의상 및 액세서리 제품 홍보 특성이 중심을 이루고 있으며 가상 쇼룸 과 AR패션쇼를 통한 구매 과정에서의 편의성 확대 및 엔터테인먼트 콘텐츠 활용에 의한 매출 신장과 브랜드 인지도 향상등의 긍정적 가치를 높이고 있다. 미래디지털 패션 환경에서 증강현실이 활용되는 유형의 범위는 지속적으로 확대될 것이며 증강현실기술의 활용 특성을 도출함으로써 향후 패션산업의 미래 비전을 제시하는데 기여하고자 한다.

다중 참여자 네트웍 가상현실 시스템을 위한 복수 멀티케스트 통신구조 (A heterogeneous multicast communication for the network virtual reality system)

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient network communication scheme tailored to the network virtual reality(NVR) system. We first present the architecture and implementation of CVRAT (collaborative virtual reality authoring tool). The design goal of CVRAT is to provide consistent and scalable shared virtual environments. To achieve this goal, we classify the network messages according to their reliability and latency requirements. These conflicting requirements lead us to conceive a heterogeneous communication scheme which provides the unicast and three different multicast transport services; unreliable multicast, receiver-driven reliable multicast, fast reliable multicast. Each protocol has trade-offs in reliability, latency and bandwidth usage. The characteristics are analyzed by several experiments. Finally, applying this communication method to multi-participant battle-field tank simulation, we show the efficacy of proposed heterogeneous transport mechanism.

증강현실기반의 패션제품 어플리케이션 특성요인과 사용의도와의 관계에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Augmented Reality-based Fashion Product Application on Intention to Use)

  • With the technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution integrated into the industry as a whole, digital transformation (DT) is becoming an innovative and essential element of corporate survival in the fashion industry, and it is expected that the paradigm shift in shopping will become an unavoidable reality, especially based on the AR. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of augmented reality were presented separately as perceived realism, interaction, pleasure, and usability, and the influence of augmented reality by immersion parameters on the user's satisfaction and intended to reveal the relationship between satisfaction and usage through the characteristics of augmented reality. For the purpose of this study, a structured questionnaire was conducted, and the available 209 responses were collected and used for empirical analysis. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, while immersion has the greatest effect on satisfaction, the effect on use intention has a stronger effect on satisfaction than immersion. This indicates that purchase occurs when the user's immersion leads to satisfaction, and when the satisfaction falls, the intention to use is also lowered. Second, interactivity, enjoyment, and ease of use among the various characteristics of fashion applications have a positive effect on immersion. Among them, ease of use had a strong effect on immersion. In light of this, it can be seen that ease of use should be considered first when creating an application based on augmented reality in the future fashion industry. However, the perceived reality is low in the degree of immersion, and the effect on satisfaction is also lowered, so it is difficult to be connected to intention. Considering that this study was conducted through indirect experience through video viewing, this study expects the development of research through a more practical research model in the future, as the impact is considered to be a relatively low measurement.

구전에 영향을 미치는 SNS 제 요인에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Social Network Services Determinants on Word Of Mouth)

  • Social Network Service (SNS) has been played an important role in the life with the expansion of the modern technology in the cellular communication. More knowledge and understanding should be inevitable even if companies have taken advantage of SNS through word of mouth as one of the new paradigm. In most cases the crucial benefit or peculiarity of SNS has been overlooked because only general aspects of SNS have been applied in the online situation. As a result of this, same paradigm has been considered in reality as SNS was just used one of the marketing tools. However, essential aspects of SNS were investigated to see the relation of usage intention and word of mouth in this study. The hypothesis of the effect of continuous intention of the usage, trust and word of mouth was made and reviewed statistically. The statistical analysis showed there was significant among relationship, context, perceived service quality and continuous intention of the usage. In addition to that, self-expression, relationship, perceived service quality and trust were significant. Finally the continuous intention of the usage and word of mouth was significant as well. Based on this study, SNS provided by the companies could be effective to the customers in terms of word of mouth while different trend was shown in terms of trust.

A Study on the Usage Change of National Land in Keijo(京城) Focus on Surrounding Area Near #193, 2nd-Hwanggeum-Jeong(黃金町)

  • This study investigates the course of transformation of the capital city of the Korean Empire into a colonial city during the Japanese rule by focusing on state-owned lands at and near #193, 2nd jeongmok(丁目), Hwanggeum-jeong(黃金町) in Keijo(京城). The study reveals that although the colonial rulers had made it apparent that they acted in the benefit of the Korean Empire, in reality, they had taken dexterous and gradual steps to change the purpose of the lands in order to utilize them as desired. Briefly, the usage of the lands was changed several times from Daedong-gurakbu(大同俱樂部) to Gyeongseong Exposition(京城博覽會) and to Nongsanggongbu Office(農 商工部) up until the Japan-Korea Annexation Treaty. Following this, the lands were bestowed upon the pro-Japanese, including Guijokhoigwan(貴族會館), as a means of Japan's assimilation policy. The changes in the usage of the buildings on the lands and the land use show how the rulers' intentions were reflected in the space of the ruled.
