대함유도탄 요격 확률을 고려한 함정 대공방어유도탄의 최적 운용 연구 (A Study on Optimal Operation against Anti-Air Missiles with Consideration of Anti-Surface Missile Kill Probability)

  • A naval surface-to-air missile is an effective countermeasure against increasing threats of anti-ship missiles. Optimal operation is imperative for high survivability due to limited defense resources of a warship. This paper addresses a problem of optimal engagement to maximize the overall probability of intercept under Shoot-Look-Shoot tactics. The problem is formulated and analyzed with consideration of a realistic single-shoot probability model. The analysis shows that a global solution is achieved for some engagement scenarios. A numerical algorithm to optimize the overall probability of intercept is suggested. An illustrative example is provided to verify our results.

  • The evaluation test for the operation of rotary type surface mounters which consist of the reel axis, the index table and the X-Y table, has been performed by comparing the new method with the old one in only fields. Because the problem seeking for the optimal operation of rotary type surface mounters, is NP complete, it is almost impossible to get the optimal solutions of large problems. This paper deals with a dynamic network modeling, which can reduce the effort, the cost, and the time used for the performance test of rotary type surface mounters.

  • The most important problem in NC machining of a freeform mold surface is removal of tool interference. In this paper three methods are introduced to remove self-intersection on offsetted freeform surface for 3-axis NC. All methods are using intersectional offset curves on original offset surface. The fast method is sequential loop check using two lines which have two neighbor points of intersectional offset curves.

  • We consider a PCB grouping problem arising from the electronic industry. Given a surface mounting device, several types of PCBs and a number of component feeders used to assemble the PCBs. the optimization problem is the PCB grouping problem while minimizing setup time of component feeders. We formulate the problem as an Integer programming model and propose a column generation approach to solve the Integer programming formulation. In this approach we decompose the original problem Into master problem and column generation subproblem Starting with a few columns in the master problem. we generate new columns successively by solving subproblem optimally. To solve the subproblem. we use a branrh-and-rut approach. Computational experiments show that our solution approach gives high quality solutions in a reasonable computing time.

  • 새로운 형태의 고체 상태의 대전력, 고속전자장치인 광전도 전력스위치(PCPS)의 개발과 대전력 및 고전압 상태하에서 광전도 전력스위치의 고전계 동작특성을 규명하기 위해서 많은 연구가 행해지고 있다. 그러나 표면 섬락 현상이 확실하고 효과 있는 고속, 고압스위칭 소자의 실현을 방해하고 있다. 이러한 연면방전의 물리적 현상의 명백한 이해는 새로운 기술과 소자구성을 발전시키는데 매우 중요할 뿐 아니라, 고전계·고전압에서의 동작특성을 향상시키는데 있어서도 특별한 의미를 가진다. 뿐만 아니라 고전계, 고전력 소자들을 안전하게 동작할 수 있게 하기 위해서도 필요하다. 연면방전 및 표면 절연파괴현상은 반도체 벌크 파괴 전계보다 훨씬 낮은 전계에서 적용되어 파괴된 모든 소자들에서 발생하기 때문에 이러한 문제를 해결하는 매우 실용적인 방법이 소자의 표면을 절연물로 페시베이션하는 것이다. 페시베이션된 소자들은 고전계에서 언페시페이션된 소자에 비해 매우 좋은 동작특성을 나타내므로, 본 논문에서는 페시베이션된 소자와 언페시베이션된 소자간의 I-E특성과 파괴 메커니즘을 규명하고 더 나아가 다중 페시베이션에 대한 몇몇 특성 값을 제시한다.

  • In this paper we investigate the origin of the variational calculus with respect to the extremal principle. We also study the role the extremal principle has played in the development of the calculus of variations. We deal with Dido's isoperimetric problem, Maupertius's least action principle, brachistochrone problem, geodesics, Johann Bernoulli's principle of virtual work, Plateau's minimal surface and Dirichlet principle.

  • In the VSS control, reaching phase and chattering problem are the main disadvantages. A simple nonlinear sliding surface is proposed to cope with the reaching phase. The chattering problem is alleviated by almost continuous control with the compensation using the infinite closed loop.

자유수면 아래에서 회전하는 프로펠러 주위 유동 수치 해석 (Numerical Analysis of Flow around Propeller Rotating Beneath Free Surface)

  • This paper provides the numerical results of a simulation of the flow around a propeller working beneath the free surface. A finite volume method is used to solve the unsteady Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (URANS) equations, where the wave-making problem is solved using a volume-of-fluid (VOF) method. The numerical analysis focuses on the propeller wake structure affected by the free surface, where we consider another free surface boundary condition that treats the free surface as a rigid wall surface. The propeller wake under the effect of these two free surface conditions shows a reduction in the magnitude of the longitudinal and vertical flow velocities, and its vortical structures strongly interact with the free surface. The thrust and torque coefficient under the free surface effect decrease about 3.7% and 3.1%, respectively. Finally, the present numerical results show a reasonable agreement with the available experimental data.

  • The present paper concerns the mathematical study and the numerical treatment of the problem of semirigid connections in bolted steel column base plates by taking into account the possibility of appearance of separation phenomena on the contact surface under certain loading conditions. In order to obtain a convenient discrete form to simulate the structural behaviour of a steel column base plate, the continuous contact problem is first formulated as a variational inequality problem or, equivalently, as a quadratic programming problem. By applying an appropriate finite element scheme, the discrete problem is formulated as a quadratic optimization problem which expresses, from the standpoint of Mechanics, the principle of minimum potential energy of the semirigid connection at the state of equilibrium. For the numerical treatment of this problem, two effective and easy-to-use solution strategies based on quadratic optimization algorithms are proposed. This technique is illustrated by means of a numerical application.
