  • In this paper, we considers the problem of designing an observer for bilinear systems with unknown input. A sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability of the proposed observer is derived by means of delectability, invariant zeros, and stable subspace. In sufficient condition, the bound which guarantees the asymptotic stability was derived, which based on the Lyapunov stability. And Observer existing conditions are suggested in various cases. Through a simple example, we derived the observer structure and the bound which guarantees the asymptotic stability.

  • Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of diagonal, block-diagonal, and triangular decoupling controllers in linear multivariable systems for the most general setting are presented. The plant model in this study is sufficiently general to accommodate non-square plant and non-unity feedback cases with one-degree-of-freedom (1DOF) or two-degree-of-freedom (2DOF) controller configuration. The existence condition is described in terms of rank conditions on the coefficient matrices in partial fraction expansions.

  • In this paper, we proposed the representation method of specification and the control rules fork FMS by TPL. To increase productivity and resource utilization, it is desirable to have more active jobs in the system, but the more active jobs there are, the more easily deadlock occur. Therefore, it is very important that the real-time deadlock control to disable deadlock. In this paper, we performed the system modeling by the CROPN(Colored Resource -Oriented Petri Net) and the necessary -sufficient condition check to disable deadlock. We proposed the supervisory control system that can be the real-time monitoring for deadlock free through a necessary-sufficient condition by CROPN modelling, and designed the logic controller of the extended process using TPL.

  • The 2-way balanced one-level rotation design has been discussed (Park et al., 2001), where the 2-way balancing is done on interview time in monthly sample and rotation group. We extend it to 3-way balanced multi-level design to obtain more information of the same sample unit for one or more previous months. The 3-way balancing is accomplished not only on interview time in monthly sample and rotation group but also on recall time as well. The 3-way balancing eliminates or reduces any bias arising from unbalanced interview time, rotation group and recall time, and all rotation groups are equally represented in the monthly sample. We present the rule and rotation algorithm which guarantee the 3-way balancing. In particular, we specify the necessary and sufficient condition for the 3-way balanced multi-level rotation design.

  • Vector optimization problems consist of two or more objective functions and constraints. Optimization entails obtaining efficient solutions. Geoffrion [3] introduced the definition of the properly efficient solution in order to eliminate efficient solutions causing unbounded trade-offs between objective functions. In 1974, Isermann [7] obtained a necessary and sufficient condition for an efficient solution of a linear vector optimization problem with linear constraints and showed that every efficient solution is a properly efficient solution. Since then, many authors [1, 2, 4, 5, 6] have extended the Isermann's results. In particular, Gulati and Islam [4] derived a necessary and sufficient condition for an efficient solution of a linear vector optimization problem with nonlinear constraints, under certain assumptions. In this paper, we consider the following nonlinear vector optimization problem (NVOP): (Fig.) where for each i, f$_{i}$ is a differentiable function from R$^{n}$ into R and g is a differentiable function from R$^{n}$ into R$^{m}$ .

  • Let ${\mathbb{Z}}$ be the ring of integers and ${\mathbb{Z}}[X]$ (resp., $h({\mathbb{Z}})$) be the ring of polynomials (resp., Hurwitz polynomials) over ${\mathbb{Z}}$. In this paper, we study the irreducibility of Hurwitz polynomials in $h({\mathbb{Z}})$. We give a sufficient condition for Hurwitz polynomials in $h({\mathbb{Z}})$ to be irreducible, and we then show that $h({\mathbb{Z}})$ is not isomorphic to ${\mathbb{Z}}[X]$. By using a relation between usual polynomials in ${\mathbb{Z}}[X]$ and Hurwitz polynomials in $h({\mathbb{Z}})$, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for Hurwitz polynomials over ${\mathbb{Z}}$ to be irreducible under additional conditions on the coefficients of Hurwitz polynomials.

  • The object of the present paper is to deduce some important results on generic submanifolds and also generic product of LP-Sasakian manifolds with concurrent vector fields. Also, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for which the invariant distribution D and anti-invariant distribution D of M are Einstein. Also, we deduce an interesting necessary and sufficient condition for submanifolds of LP-Sasakian manifolds to be totally umbilical submanifolds. Especially we deal with the generic submanifolds admitting a Ricci soliton in LP-Sasakian manifolds endowed with concurrent vector fields.

  • The object of the present work is to study a generalized W3 recurrent manifold. We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the scalar curvature to be constant in such a manifold. Also, sufficient condition for generalized W3 recurrent manifold to be special quasi-Einstein manifold are given. Ricci symmetric and decomposable generalized W3 recurrent manifold are studied. Finally, the existence of such a manifold is ensured by a non-trivial example.

  • In this paper, we present a sufficient condition for the unique existence of solutions for a coupled system of nonlinear fractional Langevin equations with a new class of multipoint and nonlocal integral boundary conditions. We define a 𝓩*λ-contraction mapping and present the sufficient condition by identifying the problem with an equivalent fixed point problem in the context of b-metric spaces. Finally, some numerical examples are given to validate our main results.

  • In this paper, observer-based H$\sub$$\infty$/ controller design method for singular systems with time-varying delay by Just one LMI condition is presented. The sufficient condition for the existence of controller and the controller design method are presented by one perfect LMI approach. The design procedure involves solving an LMI. Since the obtained condition can be expressed as an LMI form, all variables including feedback gain and observer gain can be calculated simultaneously by Schur complement and changes of variables.
