학점은행제 교양교육과정의 편성에 관한 일고찰 (A Study on the Organization of the Standard Liberal Arts Curriculum in Accordance with the Credit Bank System)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the organization of the standard liberal arts curriculum in accordance with the academic credit bank system (ACBS). With the growth of the system, the standard curriculum of the ACBS turned out to have many problems which have to be solved for securing and maintaining the quality of the system. In an attempt to improve the standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS, the study analyzed the problems of standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS according to three criteria: the organization of subjects in the six liberal arts curriculum areas, the completion of liberal arts and the exchange subjects between majors and the liberal arts. Based on the results of the analysis, the study suggests ways to improve standard liberal arts curriculum. In the future, research needs to be conducted to explore ways to implement the proposed standard liberal arts curriculum of the ACBS in real contexts.

일본의 교양 정보교육과정 표준 분석을 통한 한국 대학의 교양 정보교육에 대한 시사점 (Implications toward the Liberal Arts Informatics Curriculum of Universities in Korea through Standard Analysis of Japan's Liberal Arts Informatics Curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 일본 교양 정보교육과정 표준을 분석하여, 한국 대학의 교양 정보교육에 대한 시사점을 제공하기 위한 목적이 있다. 목적 달성을 위해 J07-GE, J17-GE와 관련된 다양한 보고서들을 중심으로 두 표준의 변화를 비교하였다. 개정판인 J17-GE가 반영하는 정보학에 대한 지식의 범위와 정도를 살펴보기 위하여 CS에 관한 교육과정 표준들의 관계를 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 컴퓨팅 사고력 관점과 일본 정보학 정의에 기반한 J07-GE, J17-GE를 통해 정보의 원리와 지식은 보편적인 교양으로서 전체 대학생의 역량을 길러줄 수 있음을 확인하였다. 따라서 교육과정을 개발할 때는 지식체계 뿐 아니라 시수, 방법 등에 대한 논의가 함께 고려되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 대학 교양 정보교육의 내실화 및 교양 정보교육과정 표준 개발을 위한 방향성을 제시하였다는 점에 의의가 있다.

대학과목선이수제를 위한 환경과학 표준교육과정 개발 (A Study on the Development of Standard Curriculum for University-level Program in Environmental Science)

  • The aim of this study is to develop of standard curriculum for University-level Program (UP) in environmental science. UP has much merit; for example, high school students can develop their road for future by the UP procedure which is related intimately with their choice of road for future. Environmental Science is the subject which is stable for UP's goals because of interated nature of environmental science. These goals and the increase of social demand made us proceed this study. So this study had developed a standard curriculum for UP in environmental science and designed in-service program for lecturers. This study analyzed the current situations and problems of the present environmental education in the university liberal arts and high school environmental science curriculum. As a result, most of environmental educations have been conducted mainly by an approach of natural science. Inevitably they should have limits in which students can't have holistic view in solve the environmental problem. Development of Standard Curriculum for UP in Environmental Science targeted on three points. The first point is the consideration for nature of talented high school students who have interests for environment. The second point is promotion of environmental literature for talented highschool students. The third point is the level of lecture, which we put together the lecture level on university general liberal arts. And designed the in-service program for lecturers, which constructed of six field and sisty hours.

외국인 대학생이 작성 중인 학술 보고서에 나타난 제(諸) 문제 (Procedural Problems in Academic Writing Faced by International Students)

  • This research analyzed procedural problems presented in academic writing faced by international students. The result of this research will serve as a basis for suggesting methods of developing a curriculum in Korean writing as a liberal arts education designed for international students. To analyze problems presented in academic writing by international students, the standard of assessment was divided into interaction, knowledge construction, and material quotation. Then, knowledge construction was divided into contents, structure, and expression, and the items were subdivided in each category. These categories of assessment correspond to the genre of academic writing and are different from the existing standard of assessment for academic writing. Applying these standards, this research analyzed 43 texts of academic writing in process for a final paper by international students in an class and presented problems in them. Furthermore, this paper aims to give detailed feedback that can help solve those problems.

현직 교사들이 바라는 중등과학교사의 특성과 사전교사교육과정 (Characteristics of Good Science Teachers and Preservice Teacher Education Curriculum Percevied by Secondary Teachers)

  • Quality control of science teachers seems to be one of the most important tasks to improve the quality of science education in Korea. The purposes of this study, as a survey, were to identify characteristics of good science teachers and to make an outline of preservice teacher education curriculum for cultivating the characteristics from inserivce secondary science teachers. A questionnaire was developed for this study and distributed to 176 inservice teachers. It had three parts: 1) characteristics of good science teachers, 2) weights of preservice curriclum areas, and 3) weights of college courses. The means and standard deviations of teachers' responses were calculated. To test the differences between teacher variables, t-tests were executed. The inservice teachers perceived that the junior-high school teacher's characteristics should be different from the senior-high school teacher's. Characteristics, such as enthusiasm toward teaching or students, subject knowledge, content selection and organizing skill, teaching techniques, and scientific worldview were ranked within top five of good science teacher's chracteristics. The teachers' perception about preservice curriculum were as follows: 1) present weight of liberal arts area should be reduced: 2) weight of content area for junior-high school teachers should be different from that for senior-high school teachers: 3) present weight of pedagogy area should be increased: 4) present weight of science education area should be increased: and 5) many courses in pedagogy and sciencd education areas need to be changed, Based on the data and disussion, a conceptual model for preservice teacher education curriculum was proposed.

수학전쟁의 기원과 우리나라 수학교육과정 개정 - '중등수학교육의 문제점'과 '1923 Report' - (Mathematics Curriculum Revising Processes & Directions from the Standpoints of the Comtemporary Two Reports in the 1920's as the Origin of Math Wars)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 수학교육과정의 개정 방향과 과정에 시사점을 얻기 위하여 설계되었다. 최근 수학교육과정 개정에 나타나는 전통과 개혁, 내용과 방법 사이의 갈등을 일컫는 '수학전쟁'의 본질을 이해하기 위하여 이 연구는 수학전쟁의 기원이라 할 수 있는 1920년대 중등 수학교육과정에 관한 두 보고서, 일명 Kilpatrick 보고서와 1923 보고서에 주목하고, 보고서의 배경과 저자, 수학과 수학교육에 대한 관점과 보고서 내용, 그 파급 효과 등을 상세히 비교 대조하여 거시적 안목에서 교육과정 개정의 쟁점을 정리하였다. 또 Standards 중심의 개혁에 대한 최근 미국 수학전쟁의 양상, 해외 수학교육의 동향, 우리나라와 미국 수학 교육 개정 과정의 특징을 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 토대로 현재 우리나라 수학교육과정 연구와 개발에 중요하게 고려해야 할 사항과 현안 과제를 제안하였다.

CS2013 지식영역의 계량화를 통한 컴퓨터과학 영역별 우선순위 설정 (Setting Priorities by Computer Science Area Through Quantification of CS2013 Knowledge Area)

  • 고등교육의 질 관리를 중요하게 생각한 국가들은 다양한 제도나 방법을 통해 교육의 질 강화를 진행하고 있다. 컴퓨터과학 분야에서도 고등교육의 질 관리를 위해 교육과정 표준을 구성하는 등 끊임없이 노력해 왔다. 컴퓨터과학 분야 교육과정 표준에서 언급한 지식영역의 우선순위를 파악해 보면, 내용체계 구성에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 CS2013을 토대로 내용요소에 대한 Tier1, Tier2, Elective의 시수와 세부영역의 수를 중심으로 순위를 도출하였다. 분석결과, 가장 높은 우선순위를 지닌 지식영역으로는 Software Development Fundamentals이었다. 해당 지식영역은 CS2013에서 기초 요소이기 때문에 초급코스로 권장한다고 기술되기도 하였다. 도출되어진 영역별 우선순위가 향후 초중등 정보교육과정이나 고등 교양 정보교육과정, 교원양성기관의 정보교육과정 설정에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

응급구조(학)과 교육과정의 표준화에 대한 연구 (Standardization of a curriculum for paramedic students in South Korea)

  • Purpose: This study describes current curricula for paramedic students in South Korea and proposes a standardization of the curriculum. Methods: Data were collected from 38 colleges and universities from March 1 to 31, 2016. Descriptive statistics were calculated using SPSS 23.0. Results: The proposed standard curriculum was below. Requisite liberal arts consisted of 2 subjects and 6 credits including biomedical ethics, communications and human relationships. Common major subjects were composed of 6 areas, 22 subjects, and 78 credits. The areas of basic medicine consisted of 6 subjects and 16 credits including medical terminology. Introduction to paramedicine consisted of 3 subjects and 7 credits. Emergency patient management consisted of 2 subjects and 9 credits. Particulars to paramedic care consisted of 8 subjects and 31 credits. The law area consisted of 1 subject and 3 credits. Other major areas consisted of 2 subjects and 12 credits including integrated simulation and physician assistance. Common field practice area consisted of 3 to 4 subjects and 9 to 12 credits. Conclusion: It is important to establish and adapt a standardized curriculum for paramedic students in order to ensure competence and to provide high quality emergency medical services.

AHP기법을 활용한 간호사의 NCS직업기초능력 우선순위 분석 (Priorities Analysis of NCS Vocational Key Competence of Nurse using AHP Method)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the research is understand the priorities of national competency standards vocational key competence factors in nurse who is work in Seoul and Incheon. Methods: The design of this study is descriptive investigation research, and the subjects were 144 nurse. we establish the vocational key competency defined in national competency standards as analytic hierarchy analysis model. The vocational key competency has 10 categories and 34 sub-categories. And based on the survey in nurse, the weight representing relative importance of each factor were calculated by using analytic hierarchy process method. Results: The analytic hierarchy process analysis on 10 categories showed that professional ethics(0.149) was higher than any other categories while that of numeracy(0.040) was at the bottom. And the analysis on sub-categories revealed that the most important factors in each categories included the Ethical community(Professional ethics), Conflict management skills(Interpersonal skills), Problem solving capability(Problem-solving skills), Listening skills(Communication skills), Applicable technical skills(Technical skills), Ability to understand business(Ability to understand organizational structures), Information processing capabilities(Information capacity), Self-management skills(Self-development capability), Ability to manage time(Resource management capabilities), Basic math skills(Numeracy). Conclusions: The results in this study can be used as basic data for the development of liberal arts curriculum for Nursing.

공학교육인증을 위한 디자인과 소프트웨어 융합전공의 학습성과 (Learning Outcomes of Design and Software Convergence Major for Engineering Education Accreditation)

  • 4차 산업혁명 이후 빠르게 변화하는 사회에서는 복잡한 문제를 해결할 수 있는 융합인재양성이 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구는 (사)한국공학교육인증원(이하, 공인원)에서 제시하고 있는 공학교육 인증기준인 융 복합분야의 프로그램 학습성과를 설정하기 위해 필요로 하는 핵심역량을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 사례연구방법론을 적용하였다. 분석사례는 국내외 대학의 디자인과 소프트웨어 융합 전공이다. 선정된 전공의 교육목표 및 교과목의 강의계획서를 분석하였다. 연구결과 공인원에서 제시하고 있는 프로그램 학습성과 10개 외에 디자인 소프트웨어 융합전공에서 추가로 달성해야할 핵심역량 4가지가 도출되었다. 새로 추가된 핵심역량은 융합능력, 창의적 사고, 창업가능력, 디자인 능력이다. 이 연구의 결과는 향후 융합전공을 위한 공학교육인증 융 복합분야의 평가체계 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
