모바일 상황인식 서비스의 추론 결과 적응을 지원하기 위한 MADA 피드백 프레임워크 (MADA Feedback Framework for Adaptive Inference Results of Situation Aware Services in Mobile Environments)

  • 최근 높은 휴대성과 이동성을 특징으로 하는 모바일 도메인에서 사용자의 상황정보를 이용한 모바일 상황인식 서비스에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 모바일 상황인식 서비스들은 사용자의 상황정보를 모바일 기기로부터 수집 및 분석하여 추론 시스템을 통해 상황을 추론해야 한다. 그러나 모바일 도메인의 높은 이동성으로 인해 상황에 적합한 추론 결과를 얻기에 어려움이 있다. 또한, 잘못된 추론 결과를 수정 및 적응하기 위한 체계적인 방법에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 본 논문은 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 소프트웨어 사이버네틱스 기반 피드백 개념을 적용한 체계적인 프로세스 모델을 제시한다. 또한 피드백 프로세스 모델을 적용, 설계 및 구현한 MADA(Monitoring, Analysis, Determinating, Adaptation) 프레임워크를 제시한다. 이를 통해 정확한 상황 추론이 가능한 적응적 모바일 상황인식 서비스 개발 환경을 구축할 수 있으며 추론 규칙의 체계적 관리가 가능하다.

  • 최동훈은 국내에서 학문적으로 활발하게 다뤄지지 않는 경향이 있다. 하지만 그의 작품들이 어떤 이유로 흥행에 성공하고 시장에서 살아남는가라는 관점에서 본다면 새롭게 다뤄볼 여지가 있어 보인다. 여기서는 최동훈의 오리지널 시나리오이면서 케이퍼필름 장르에 속하는 두 천만 관객 영화 <도둑들>과 <암살>을 분석 대상으로 삼아, "잘 짜여진 이야기"의 측면에서 그 성공 요인을 살펴보고자 한다. 흔히 웰메이드 영화는 장르 관습적인 면과 독창적인 면 모두를 갖추고 있다. 최동훈의 영화 역시 마찬가지다. <도둑들>과 <암살>은 케이퍼필름 장르 관습을 충실히 따른다. 동시에 이 두 영화는 여러 명의 캐릭터가 각자의 이야기 패턴을 가지고 창발적으로 작용하면서 자기조직화하는 복잡적응계적인 독창성도 있다. 그리고 <도둑들>과 <암살>에서는 관습적인 면과 독창적인 면이 적절하게 공존하기 때문에, 이 두 영화는 시장적응력이 가장 높은 상태인 혼돈의 가장자리에 있는 것으로 보인다.

듀얼카메라를 활용한 ACC 안전성 평가 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the ACC Safety Evaluation Method Using Dual Cameras)

  • Recently, as interest in self-driving cars has increased worldwide, research and development on the Advanced Driver Assist System is actively underway. Among them, the purpose of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is to minimize the driver's driving fatigue through the control of the vehicle's longitudinal speed and relative distance. In this study, for the research of the ACC test in the real environment, the real-road test was conducted based on domestic-road test scenario proposed in preceding study, considering ISO 15622 test method. In this case, the distance measurement method using the dual camera was verified by comparing and analyzing the result of using the dual camera and the result of using the measurement equipment. As a result of the comparison, two results could be derived. First, the relative distance after stabilizing the ACC was compared. As a result of the comparison, it was found that the minimum error rate was 0.251% in the first test of scenario 8 and the maximum error rate was 4.202% in the third test of scenario 9. Second, the result of the same time was compared. As a result of the comparison, it was found that the minimum error rate was 0.000% in the second test of scenario 10 and the maximum error rate was 9.945% in the second test of scenario 1. However, the average error rate for all scenarios was within 3%. It was determined that the representative cause of the maximum error occurred in the dual camera installed in the test vehicle. There were problems such as shaking caused by road surface vibration and air resistance during driving, changes in ambient brightness, and the process of focusing the video. Accordingly, it was determined that the result of calculating the distance to the preceding vehicle in the image where the problem occurred was incorrect. In the development stage of ADAS such as ACC, it is judged that only dual cameras can reduce the cost burden according to the above derivation of test results.

  • 인터넷 보급의 확산과 전자상거래의 활성화 그리고 유ㆍ무선 인터넷의 보급에 따른 악의적인 사이버 공격의 시도가 점점 증가하고 있다. 이로 인해 점차 더 많은 문제가 야기될 것으로 예상된다. 현재 일반적인 인터넷상의 시스템은 악의적인 공격에 적절하게 대응해오지 못하고 있으며, 다른 범용의 시스템들도 기존의 백신 프로그램에 의존하며 그 공격에 대응해오고 있다. 따라서 새로운 침입에 대하여는 대처하기 힘든 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 생체 자율분산시스템의 일부분인 T세포의 positive selection과 negative selection을 이용한 자기/비자기 인식 알고리즘을 제안한다 제안한 알고리즘은 네트워크 환경에서 침입탐지 시스템에 적용하여 기존에 알려진 침입뿐만 아니라 새로운 침입에 대해서도 대처할 수 있다.

Environment Adaptive Emergency Evacuation Route GUIDE through Digital Signage Systems

  • Nowadays, the most of commercial buildings are build-out with complex architecture and decorated with more complicated interiors of buildings so establishing intelligible escape routes becomes an important case of fire or other emergency in a limited time. The commercial buildings are already equipped with multiple exit signs and these exit signs may create confusion and leads the people into different directions under emergency. This can jeopardize the emergency situation into a chaotic state, especially in a complex layout buildings. There are many research focused on implementing different approached to improve the exit sign system with better visual navigating effects, such as the use of laser beams, the combination of audio and video cues, etc. However the digital signage system based emergency exit sign management is one of the best solution to guide people under emergency situations to escape. This research paper, propose an intelligent evacuation route GUIDE that uses the combination centralized Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and digital signage for people safety and avoids dangers from emergency conditions. This proposed system applies WSN to detect the environment condition in the building and uses an evacuation algorithm to estimate the safe route to escape using the sensor information and then activates the signage system to display the safe evacuation route instruction GUIDE according to the location the signage system is installed. This paper presented the prototype of the proposed signage system and execution time to find the route with future research directions. The proposed system provides a natural intelligent evacuation route interface for self or remote operation in facility management to efficiently GUIDE people to the safe exit under emergency conditions.

Intrusion Detection System Modeling Based on Learning from Network Traffic Data

  • This research uses artificial intelligence methods for computer network intrusion detection system modeling. Primary classification is done using self-organized maps (SOM) in two levels, while the secondary classification of ambiguous data is done using Sugeno type Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). FIS is created by using Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The main challenge for this system was to successfully detect attacks that are either unknown or that are represented by very small percentage of samples in training dataset. Improved algorithm for SOMs in second layer and for the FIS creation is developed for this purpose. Number of clusters in the second SOM layer is optimized by using our improved algorithm to minimize amount of ambiguous data forwarded to FIS. FIS is created using ANFIS that was built on ambiguous training dataset clustered by another SOM (which size is determined dynamically). Proposed hybrid model is created and tested using NSL KDD dataset. For our research, NSL KDD is especially interesting in terms of class distribution (overlapping). Objectives of this research were: to successfully detect intrusions represented in data with small percentage of the total traffic during early detection stages, to successfully deal with overlapping data (separate ambiguous data), to maximize detection rate (DR) and minimize false alarm rate (FAR). Proposed hybrid model with test data achieved acceptable DR value 0.8883 and FAR value 0.2415. The objectives were successfully achieved as it is presented (compared with the similar researches on NSL KDD dataset). Proposed model can be used not only in further research related to this domain, but also in other research areas.

플립플롭 기반의 새로운 노화 센싱 회로의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a new aging sensing circuit based on Flip-Flops)

  • 본 논문에서는 나노미티 기술에서 HCI와 BTI와 같은 노화 현상에 의해 야기되는 MOSFET 디지털 회로의 실패를 정확히 예측을 위한 플립플롭 기반의 온-칩 노화 센싱 회로를 제안한다. 제안된 센싱 회로는 순차회로의 가드밴드 (guardband) 위반에 대한 경고를 나타내는 타이밍 윈도우를 이용해서 노화에 의한 회로의 동작 실패 전에 경고 비트를 발생한다. 발생된 비트는 고신뢰의 시스템 설계를 위한 적응형 셀프-튜닝 방법에서 제어 신호로 사용될 것이다. 노화 센싱 회로는 0.11um CMOS 기술을 사용해서 구현되었고, 파워-게이팅 구조를 가지는 $4{\times}4$ 곱셈기에 의해서 평가되었다.

Evaluation of a Self-Adaptive Voltage Control Scheme for Low-Power FPGAs

  • This paper presents a fine-grain supply-voltage-control scheme for low-power FPGAs. The proposed supply-voltage-control scheme detects the critical path in real time with small overheads by exploiting features of asynchronous architectures. In an FPGA based on the proposed supply-voltage-control scheme, logic blocks on the sub-critical path are autonomously switched to a lower supply voltage to reduce the power consumption without system performance degradation. Moreover, in order to reduce the overheads of level shifters used at the power domain interface, a look-up-table without level shifters is employed. Because of the small overheads of the proposed supply-voltage-control scheme and the power domain interface, the granularity size of the power domain in the proposed FPGA is as fine as a single four-input logic block. The proposed FPGA is fabricated using the e-Shuttle 65 nm CMOS process. Correct operation of the proposed FPGA on the test chip is confirmed.

단안카메라를 활용한 ACC 시험평가 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Method of ACC Test Using Monocular Camera)

  • Currently, the second level of the six stages of self-driving technology, as defined by SAE, is commercialized, and the third level is preparing for commercialization. The purpose of ACC is to be evaluated as a system useful for preventing and preventing accidents by minimizing driver fatigue through longitudinal speed control and relative distance control of the vehicle. In this regard, for the study of safety assessment methods in the practical environment of ACC. Distance measurement method using monocular camera and data acquisition equipment such as DGPS are utilized. Based on the evaluation scenario considering the domestic road environment proposed by the preceding study, the relative distance obtained from equipment such as DPGS and the relative distance using a monocular camera in the actual test is verified by comparing and analyzing the safety assessment. The comparison by scenario results showed a minimum error rate of 3.83% in Scenario 1 and a maximum of 14.61% in Scenario 6. The cause of the maximum error is that the lane recognition is not accurate in the camera image and irregular operation conditions such as rushing in or exiting the surrounding area from the walkway. It is expected that safety evaluation using a monocular camera will be possible for other ADAS systems in the future.

무선 중계기에서의 Dual NLMS 방식 궤한 간섭 제거 방법 (Dual NLMS Type Feedback Interference Cancellation Method in RF Repeater System)

  • 이동 통신 시스템에서 음영 지역의 셀 커버리지를 확보하기 위하여 다양한 종류의 중계기가 사용되고 있다. 그러나 일반적인 무선 중계기는 송 수신 안테나 간의 궤환신호로 인한 발진 문제 때문에 고출력 옥외 중계기로 상용하기 어렵다. 궤환 간섭제거 중계기는 디지털 적응필터를 이용하여 송 수신 안테나 간의 궤환신호를 제거하여 발진을 방지한다. 본 논문에서는 dual NLMS(Normalized Least Mean Square) 알고리듬을 제안하며, 궤환 채널의 도플러 주파수 추정을 통하여 적응필터의 스텝 사이즈를 결정한다. 시불변 채널 및 다중 경로 페이딩 채널 환경에서 제안하는 알고리듬의 성능을 분석하고 모의 실험을 통하여 검증한다.
