아홉 개의 TEA Co 레이저선에 대한 암모니아 매질의 비선형 굴절계수 (n%)를, 매질을 통과한 광속이 self-focusing 또는 self-defocusing 에의해 겪게되는 공간적 광속 변화를 측정함으로써 결정하였다. 암모니아 매질을 통과하여 변형된 광속의 전장은 가우스 함수의 금수로 주어지는 스미스의 표현(5)으로 근사할수 있었으며, 실험치와 비교하여 보았다. 아홉 개의 레이저선중 여덟 개의 레이저선은 self-focusing 현상을 나타애렀으며9R(16) line은 self-defocusing 현상을 나타내었다.

This study is a narrative depiction of a focusing attitude training experience through a counselor's participation in focusing workshop. Through the story of life, the researchers explored how the participant experienced according to the three - dimensional narrative inquiry space (time, place, interaction). The results of this study is that the contact (self - awareness process) with self - experience through focusing training abled the counselor to facilitate clients' own self-contact during the psychotherapy process and as a result the counselor was able to establish 'relational depth' with clients. Through Focusing experience, the counselor was able to aware bodily feeling 'as it is' which helped the expansion of self with multiple perspectives of life away from fixed own self -frame. The implication of this study is to explore the meaning of the counselor's Focusing attitude and to prepare for the development of Focusing workshops in the future.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of ambivalent sexism and focusing manner on self-concept for middle-aged women, and to verify the factors that can help middle-aged women's positive self-concept. The self-concept scale, the focusing manner scale, and the ambivalent sexism scale were used for this study through the online community targeting middle-aged women aged 35 to 55. As a result of the analysis using SPSS 21.0, it was investigated that there was a significant positive correlation between hostile sexism and benevolent sexism. In addition, It was found out that ambivalent sexism had a significant negative effect on self-concept. It was found out that the high hostile sexism of ambialent sexism led to lowering the self esteem, emotional stability, problem solving stability, interpersonal relationship and interpersonal trust of middle-aged women. Focusing manner had a significant positive effect on self concept, but there were differences for each sub-factor. Express, accept, and keeping one's composure had a significant positive effect, while awareness had a negative effect, and reflecting attitude did not have a significant effect. Finally, limitations of this study were discussed.

This study is about self-leadership, which is leadership that we exercise over ourselves. In this study, I analyzed the effects of self-leadership on students' focusing on their goal commitments and self-efficacy's role as link between self-leadership and students' focusing on their goal commitments. In order to accomplish research purposes, I conducted a survey of 300 University students in Busan and carry out empirical study of 276 University students. As a result of analysis, I draw conclusions as follows. First, Hypothesis1 is adopted because the research results show that self-leadership has positive effects on students' focusing their goal commitments. Second, Hypothesis2 is adopted because the research results show that self-leadership has positive effects on students' self-efficacy. Third, Hypothesis3 is adopted because the research results show that self-efficacy has positive effects on student's focusing on their goal commitments. Forth, I conducted Mediating regression to see if self-efficacy plays a mediator role between self-leadership and student's focusing on their commitments. And the results show that behavior-focused strategies, constructive thought pattern strategies and natural reward strategies have perfect mediating effects. This study shows the importance of building self-leadership for young generations to be effective leaders of themselves.

In this paper we will show theoretically that a refractive index grating exhibits a retro-self-focusing effect and an accompanying pinholing effect under the Gaussian intensity distribution of an incident optical field. Those effects result from an effective wave number change of the medium due to the intense optical field.

The 3rd order nonlinear properties show Optical bleaching (Saturation) and Reverse saturation in absorption aspect, whereas Self-focusing[3][4] and Self-defocusing in refraction aspect. Optical bleaching and Self-focusing phenomena of those properties in particular can be useful to make the optical beam spot size smaller for application on the higher optical storage density. Purpose: Focusing manner is very powerful mind-body self-help and self-awareness competence. So focusing manner may affect nurses' emotional labor and nursing performance, but few are known about it to date. The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of focusing manner, emotional labor, nursing performance of clinical nurses, and the factors that affect nursing performance. Methods: In order to collect data, structured questionnaires were administered to 212 nurses who worked at 2 university hospitals located in D city. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 20.0. Results: Nursing performance had positive relationship with focusing manner (r=.45, p<.001), and negative relationship with emotional labor (r=-.25, p<.001). And the most prediction factor influencing nursing performance was focusing manner (${\beta}=.41$, p<.001) and the other factors were age (${\beta}=.30$, p=.002), and emotional labor (${\beta}=.14$, p=.012). The total variance was 37.1% by those predictors (F=25.87, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop and educational program on focusing manner-oriented psychotherapy in order to improve the nursing performance. Also, the management system for controlling emotional labor needs to be set up for nurses in clinical settings.

The second harmonic of Q-switched Nd:YAG laser beam with gaussian mode is cut off by pinhole of a certain radius and its central portion passed through pinhole is focused by converging lens. It is confirmed that the shape of this beam in focal region is central symmetric but non-gaussian. Change of transmittance due to self-focusing is investigated by scanning (z-scan) $CS_2$ of 1 mm thickness in the focal region. It is found that the observed results can be consistently explained by Fresnel theory within 1.5% accuracy and efficiency of self-focusing depends on spatial shape of incident beam.
