An Empirical Investigation of the Impact of Customer Learning on Customer Experience in the Context of Knowledge Product Use

  • The role of customers has changed from that of passive users to value co-creators. Therefore, it is important to understand how customer learning takes place and how it affects customer experiences with services and products. However, while past studies insist on the importance of the issues in designing customer experiences, they do not empirically address these issues. This study investigates the support processes for customer learning, and their impact on customer learning, which in turn influences customer experience. To test the hypotheses, we employed the survey method. Target informants were the actual users of Apple iPods. A total of 200 survey questionnaires were distributed and 146 were collected. Among these, seven erroneous responses were excluded, leaving 139 usable ones. The proposed model was empirically analyzed using the Covariance-based SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) technique. The findings of this study suggest that, among the three support processes in customer learning, learning-by-doing support and learning-by-investment support positively affect customer learning, which influences customer experience. This study contributes to the literature by identifying different types of support for different kinds of customer learning processes and by empirically testing the impact of the support for the process on customer learning, and in turn, its impact on customer experience.

간호학과 학생들의 플립러닝 학습 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Flipped Learning Experience of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 플립러닝 수업을 간호학과 학생들에게 적용하여 그들의 수업 경험을 이해하는 데 있다. 플립러닝 수업에 참여한 간호대학생들의 학습경험에 대한 연구로써, 각 개인의 경험에 의미를 두어 본질을 파악하는 데 목적을 두는 Colaizzi의 현상학적 분석방법을 적용하여 그 진술을 분석하고 경험의 의미를 파악하고자 실시하였다. 간호학과 학생들의 플립러닝 수업 경험의 의미를 Colaizzi의 현상학적 분석방법을 적용하여 분석한 결과 7개의 주제와 3개의 중심의미가 도출되었다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 간호학 전공교과목에서 플립러닝 교수법을 확산하기 위한 질적 및 양적 연구를 확대해야 함을 제언한다.

초등학교 교사의 과학 PCK에 대한 학업 열정 수준 및 영향 요인 탐색 (An Exploratory Study on Level and Influencing Factors of Academic Passion for Elementary School Teachers' Science PCK)

  • 이 연구에서는 초등학교 교사의 과학 PCK에 대한 학업 열정 수준과 그 열정에 영향을 미친 요인을 조사하였다. 이를 위해 서울특별시 소속 초등학교 교사 161명을 선정한 후, 과학 내용학 및 과학 교육학에 대한 학업 열정 검사를 시행하였다. 또한 일부 교사를 대상으로 개별적인 심층 면담을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 과학 내용학 및 과학 교육학 학습에 대해 '중요함'과 '조화열정'은 높은 수준, '시간/에너지 투자'와 '강박열정'은 보통보다 약간 높거나 낮은 수준이었다. 과학 내용학 학습에 대한 '좋아함'은 비교적 높은 수준이었지만, 과학 교육학 학습에 대한 '좋아함'은 보통보다 약간 높은 수준이었다. 교직 경력보다 학부 과학 심화전공 여부에 따른 과학 내용학 및 과학 교육학에 대한 학업 열정의 차이가 더 크게 나타났다. 초등학교 교사는 과학 PCK에 대한 열정에 영향을 미친 요인으로 '개인의 관심 및 흥미', '고등학교 계열', '학부 과학 심화전공 여부', '과학 관련 대학원 진학 여부', '초등학교에서 과학을 가르친 경험', '영재교육원에서 과학을 가르친 경험', '과학 전담 교사 담당 경험', '과학 관련 교사 연수', '과학 관련 교수-학습 자료 개발 경험', '과학 및 과학영재 관련 업무 담당 경험', '과학 관련 교사공동체 참여 경험' 등을 골고루 선택하였다. 그러나 그 선택 비율에서는 학부 과학 심화전공 여부에 따라 약간의 차이가 있었다. 이를 바탕으로 초등학교 교사의 과학 PCK에 대한 학업 열정을 높이는 방법을 제안하였다.

문이과 통합형 개정 교육과정에 따른 이공계열 신입생의 고교 수학 및 과학 교과목 학습경험 분석: S 대학교를 중심으로 (Analysis of the Learning Experience of College Students According to the 2015 Revised National Curriculum)

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the learning experiences of high school mathematics and science subjects of new students in science and engineering, and to provide basic data and respond to strengthen basic knowledge of science and engineering students in the future. The subjects of the survey were 481 freshmen in science and engineering at S University. First, as a result of analyzing the learning experiences of freshmen, the geometric subjects were significantly lower, which is the result of students' sensitive responses to transitional changes in the curriculum and SAT system after revision. In science, general elective subjects were higher than career elective subjects, and there was a deviation between science subjects, which is a result of reflecting the diversity and hierarchy of science subjects. Next, as a result of analyzing the difference in learning experience after revision compared to before the revision of the curriculum, the learning experience of Mathematics II increased significantly and the geometry decreased significantly. Both Chemistry I and II increased significantly compared to before the revision, and Earth Science I decreased significantly. This can be seen as a result of strategic choices based on obtaining grades in the CSAT and disadvantages in college entrance exams. As a result of the study, students' sensitive reactions to changes in the high school education environment were confirmed, basic mathematics and science-related courses were opened to alleviate variations in the academic ability due to elective courses, and countermeasures tailored to each university's situation.

  • 2009년 제7차 개정 교육과정부터 자율과 창의 교육을 중심으로 현장체험학습을 하도록 권장하고 있으며, 현장체험학습의 중요도와 관심이 증가하고 있다. 현장학습의 중요성이 증가하면서 관련 앱의 출시가 증가하고 현장체험학습 지원을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 현장체험학습의 특징과 사용자 요구사항 분석을 바탕으로 현장체험학습을 지원하기 위한 저작도구의 개념을 정의하고, 개념적 설계를 진행하였다. 현장체험학습 저작도구는 사전, 현장, 사후단계 활동을 지원할 수 있어야 하며, 위치기반의 체험활동 저작이 가능하고, 역사, 과학, 지리 등 현장학습이 이루어지는 교과의 특성을 반영한 저작기능이 요구된다. 특히 현장체험활동 이후 탐구활동 결과물들이 재활용될 수 있는 구조로 설계되어야 함을 확인하였고, 이를 바탕으로 개념적인 설계를 진행하였다.

창의적 체험활동 프로그램이 과학개념 및 자기주도적 학습능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Science Lessons Using Creative Activities on Scientific Concepts and Self Directed Learning Ability)

  • This study is to find out that the effects of a creative experience activity program to scientific concepts and self-directed learning skills. This study has been aimed at 2 class 40 students of 4th grade in D metropolitan city A elementary school in 2015, one class 20 students are the research group to apply Scientific research program using creative experience activity, another class 20 students were comparison groups to apply general science classes. The related class section of this study is 4th grade 2 semester of science 4 chapters, 'The Earth and the moon' This section is in fourth grade elementary science curriculum revision in 2009 is a Sections to learn for the first time about astronomical area. Target research group in club activities as part of the creative activities implemented using scientific inquiry and analyzed the results. In addition, in order to better research based on the results of this study as follows. First, the science curriculum in elementary schools, as well as applied research about the creative experience activity classes in other subjects is required. The ongoing research is needed to classes utilizing the characteristics of creative experience activities in several subjects of the elementary school curriculum. Second, Creative experiential learning is only effective when it is done consistently, it is worth studying for long periods of time.

과학 동아리에서 경험한 자기 주도적 실험 학습에 대한 초등학생들의 인식 (Elementary Students' Awareness about Self-directed Learning Experiments at Science Club)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate implications of self-directed learning experiments in elementary science education through understanding elementary school students' awareness of their experiences in self-directed learning experiments. Twenty students joined the school science club voluntarily and conducted self-directed learning experiments. We collected data through observation of the experiments, interviews, and questionnaires. The students who participated in the club showed high satisfaction with self-directed learning experiments. The participants were aware that their scientific interest and knowledge, and the confidence in conducting experiments were increased. The students felt positive about the inquiry process of conducting self-directed learning experiments with their own subjects. They also felt a sense of achievement in attempting their experiments in defiance of several failures. The participants realized that the self-directed inquires led to increased declarative and procedural knowledge of science. The students stated that they had some difficulties in coping with the different results contrary to expectations and preparing laboratory materials and instruments. Nonetheless, they showed the promotion of their scientific literacy during overcoming those difficulties. We suggest that self-directed learning experiments can be a more effective way in science learning to make students experience the nature of science than existing school experiments. This can be implemented through a creative experience activities such as science clubs.

소외 계층 학생들의 과학 학습 유형 (Minority Students' Learning Patterns in Science Class)

  • 다문화, 탈북, 저소득층 등의 소외 계층 학생들이 증가하면서 그들의 학습을 돕기 위한 많은 연구가 과학 교육에서도 필요하다. 소외계층 학생들의 다양한 성장 배경과 학습 환경으로 인해 집단 전체 특성보다는 집단 내 개인 특성의 차이가 크다. 이에 본 연구에서는 소외 계층 학생 7명을 대상으로 약 50시간 동안의 과학 수업을 하고 수업 관찰과 면담을 통해 그들의 과학 학습의 특성을 파악하여 범주화했다. 7명의 소외 계층 학생들은 5개의 다른 학습 특성을 보였고 이에 따라 '과학에 빠져있다', '과학을 안다고 생각한다', '과학을 알고 싶다', '과학을 알 필요가 있다', '무엇을 원하는지 모른다' 등 5개 유형으로 구분할 수 있었다. 그들이 경험한 과학 활동이 교육적으로 모두 우수한 수준을 갖춘 것은 아니었지만, 과학 활동 경험만으로도 그들의 과학 학습 흥미와 욕구는 커졌다. 공적 제도 하에서만 과학 학습 경험이 가능한 이들 소외 계층 학생들에게 더 풍부한 과학 활동 경험과 교육 기회를 제공할 필요성을 보여준다.

제주도의 지역 환경 자원을 활용한 초등학교 고학년용 체험교육 프로그램 개발 (The Development of Experience Education Program for Elementary Upper Grades using Local Environmental Resources of Jeju Island)

  • The purpose of this study was to develope experience-education program for elementary students which use environmental resources and learning sources of Jeju island. This study designed developing framework of environmental education program for using local resources and developed experience-education program on the basis of it. Especially this program consisted of direct experience, indirect experience, and local community learning. This program consisted of five activities -'Jeju's water', 'Mecca of wind power', 'Rushing jellyfish', 'Ramsar wetland', and 'Searching the fossil'. Each activity themes was to use environmental resources of Jeju island. And this program had relationship with science, social studies, and ethics in the curriculum. The result of this study will serve to activate environmental education program for using local resources if we solve program's problem through application process.

무형식학습 활동이 역량개발에 미치는 영향: 그릿과 영성리더십의 삼원 상호작용 효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Informal Learning Activities on Competency Development: Focused on 3-Way Interaction Effect of GRIT and Spiritual Leadership)

  • In a rapidly changing environment, it is essential for companies to develop their capabilities for sustainable growth. To this end, informal learning at work plays an important role for small and medium-sized enterprises that are having difficulties in human resource development. If the GRIT of workers and the spiritual leadership of leaders are maintained at an appropriate level, the effect of informal learning will increase. This study derived the following results through a survey of workers participating in the Work-learning Dual System in Korea. First, experience and feedback among informal learning activities have a significant positive effect on competency development. Second, the higher the level of the GRIT of workers, the greater the magnitude of the positive effect of experience and feedback on competency development, showing a positive moderating effect. Third, in the case of workers with high GRIT, capacity development is strengthened as experience or feedback increases, and the higher the level of spiritual leadership, the greater the scope of reinforcement. On the other hand, it can be seen that in the case of workers with low GRIT, competency development weakens as experience or feedback increases, and the higher the level of spiritual leadership, the greater the extent of the weakening.
