We measured the transport properties of$ YBa_2$$Cu_3$$O_{x}$ ramp-edge junction fabricated with interface-engineered barrier. The current-voltage characteristics show a typical resistively-shunted junction like behavior Voltage noise measurement revealed that the main source of the 1/f noise is the critical current and resistance fluctuations. The analysis of the noise data showed that the critical current fluctuations increase with temperature, whereas the resistance fluctuations are almost constant, and both fluctuations are almost correlated. The smaller magnitude of the critical current and resistance fluctuations seems to result from the columnar-deflects.s.

A coast down test mothod has been used to determine the resistance forces on running vehicle due to the aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance and driveline resistance. Most of the tests, however, are based on the Velocity-Time measurements, which require a sophisticated velocity measuring device and contain much error by nature. In the present study a coast down test method based on Distance-Time measurements is introduced, which contains the original idea of Russian scientist Prof. Petrushov along with the suggestions for improvement of the accuracy.

STX shipbuilding Co,. Ltd. has been developed a hull form and propeller of medium class container vessel. The present paper deals with numerical calculations and experimental tests for the investigation of wave resistance, viscous resistance and propeller. The characteristics of wave resistance and self propulsion factors are varied in order to find an optimized hull form. The measured results have been compared with computed results by 'WAVIS' The prediction of the caviation occurrence was predicted by 'Opti-pro' and measurement is performed in KRISO.

A method is proposed to evaluate the elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve only with load displacement records without the crack length measurement in CT specimen. This method is based on the idea that the effect of plastic deformation and the crack growth can be measured only by using a load-displacement record. If we know the reference-load curve representing the hardening of specimen, then the crack extension can be calculated by the elastic compliance determined from the load ratio. The results of this proposed method were compared to those of the elastic-plastic fracture resistance curve for the ASTM standard unloading compliance method. The experimental results for two kinds of ductile materials showed that the proposed method well simulates the material J-R curves. This method is currently applied for CT specimens. but it can be extended to the other specimen geometries.

The full of potential method is generally used for measuring the earthing-resistance. This method needs two auxiliary electrodes and it is required that two auxiliary electrodes are placed at enough distances from the earthing electrode, e.g. building foundation. However, in urban area there is not enough space for taking measurement. So, it is very difficult to measure the earth resistance precisely. However, there is the 4- potential method when it stand on the theory of the full of potential method. It is the purpose of this paper to basic study on correction method of measured earthing resistance by 4-potential method.

The annealing effects of Au/Te/Au/n-GaAs structure was investigated by using x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, the specific contact resistance and I-V measurement. Increasing the annealing temperature, the intensity of Au-Ga peak by X-ray diffraction was increased. The Ga$\_$2/Te$\_$3/peak got evident for the samples annealed at 400.deg. C and GaAs peak by recrystallization appeared for the samples annealed at 500.deg. C. The variation from the schottky to low resistance contact was confirmed by I-V curve. The lowest value of the specific contact resistance of the samples annealed at 500.deg. C was 3.8*10$\^$-5/.ohm.-cm$\^$2/ but the value increased above 600.deg. C.

$Al(OH)_3$ is added to the silicone rubber for improvement of its resistance against surface discharge. In this paper, four kinds of $Al(OH)_3$ were added to the SIR during compounding. SIR was deteriorated by a corona treatment. Hydrophobicity recovery rate after corona treatment and arc resistance of SIR were investigated. Hydrophobicity recovery rate of SIR was evaluated by the measurement of contact angle. Arc resistance was evaluated by measuring weight loss of SIR after arc resistance test.

This paper presents setting up a laboratory-scale testbed to estimate the aging of power MOSFET devices and integrated power modules by measuring its on-state voltage and current. Based on the aging mechanisms of the component inside the power module (e.g., bond-wire, solder layer, and semiconductor chip), a system to measure the on-state resistance of device-under-test (DUT) is designed and experimented: a full-bridge circuit applies current stress to DUT, and a temperature chamber controls the ambient temperature of DUT during the aging test. The on-state resistance of SiC MOSFET measured by the proposed testbed was increased by 2.5%-3% after 44-hour of the aging test.

We are designed was to find an efficient warm-up method for resistance training for muscle hypertrophy, and 10 males with at least 3 years of resistance training experience were selected as subjects. The 75% 1RM was measured directly based on the pre-measured bench press 1RM. After that, the main experiment of 75% 1RM bench press according to the three warm-up methods was conducted one week apart, and all experiments were randomized and cross-over. Performance according to the warm-up method (3) was measured by total exercise volume, and physiological changes were determined by myocardial workload. All post-measurement data were analyzed using SPSS.22.0 and analyzed using repeated measures one-way ANOVA and contrast comparisons were made using the deviation method. The results showed that the method of gradually increasing the number of repetitions by performing the same intensity as the intensity of the main exercise in the form of muscle hypertrophy, but at submaximal repetitions, showed the highest performance.

The flame temperature of LPG-air premixture flame was measured by extrapolation of limiting case corresponding to the infinitely thin diameter of Platinum-resistance-hot-wire. LPG-air premixture flame, initially under atmospheric pressure and room temperature, propagates downward from top of the model combustion chamber maintained at constant pressure through the whole combustion process. Analytical calculation technique was also applied to determine full temperature history or spatial temperature distribution from flame reaction zone to burnt gas region.
