  • The goal of this paper is to obtain the regularity and the existence of solutions of a retarded semilinear differential equation with nonlocal condition by applying Schauder's fixed point theorem. We construct the fundamental solution, establish the H$\ddot{o}$lder continuity results concerning the fundamental solution of its corresponding retarded linear equation, and prove the uniqueness of solutions of the given equation.

  • In this paper we study the existence of global small solutions of the Cauchy problem for the non-isotropically perturbed nonlinear Schr$\"{o}$dinger equation: $iu_t\;+\;{\Delta}u\;+\;{\mid}u{\mid}^{\alpha}u\;+\;a{\Sigma}_i^d\;u_{x_ix_ix_ix_i}$ = 0, where a is real constant, 1 $\leq$ d < n is a integer is a positive constant, and x = $(x_1,x_2,\cdots,x_n)\;\in\;R^n$. For some admissible ${\alpha}$ we show the existence of global(almost global) solutions and we calculate the regularity of those solutions.

  • This paper is devoted to studying abstract stochastic semilinear evolution equations with additive noise in Hilbert spaces. First, we prove the existence of unique local mild solutions and show their regularity. Second, we show the regular dependence of the solutions on initial data. Finally, some applications to stochastic partial differential equations are presented.

  • We prove the global regularity of weak solutions to a conormal derivative boundary value problem for quasilinear elliptic equations in divergence form on Lipschitz domains under the controlled growth conditions on the low order terms. The leading coefficients are in the class of BMO functions with small mean oscillations.

  • We present regularity conditions for suitable weak solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations with slip boundary data near the curved boundary. To be more precise, we prove that suitable weak solutions become regular in a neighborhood boundary points, provided the scaled mixed norm $L^{p,q}_{x,t}$ with 3/p + 2/q = 2, $1{\leq}q$ < ${\infty}$ is sufficiently small in the neighborhood.

  • For the numerical simulation of wave phenomena either in unbounded domains that it is not feasible to compute solutions on the entire region, it is needed to truncate the original domains to manageable bounded domains whose geometries are simple but usually nonsmooth. On the artificial boundaries thus created, absorbing boundary conditions are taken so that the significant part of waves arriving at the artificial boundaries can be transmitted [5,10,11,16,17,26]$.

  • In this paper, we assume a density with integrability on the space $L^{\infty}$(0, T; $L^{q_{0}}$) for some $q_{0}$ and T > 0. Under the assumption on the density, we obtain a regularity result for the weak solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations. That is, the supremum of the density is finite and the infimum of the density is positive in the domain $T^3$ ${\times}$ (0, T). Moreover, Moser type iteration scheme is developed for $L^{\infty}$ norm estimate for the velocity.
