  • Consider the $L^2$-adjoint $s_g^{'*}$ of the linearization of the scalar curvature $s_g$. If ker $s_g^{'*}{\neq}0$ on an n-dimensional compact manifold, it is well known that the scalar curvature $s_g$ is a non-negative constant. In this paper, we study the structure of the level set ${\varphi}^{-1}$(0) and find the behavior of Ricci tensor when ker $s_g^{'*}{\neq}0$ with $s_g$ > 0. Also for a nontrivial solution (g, f) of $z=s_g^{'*}(f)$ on an n-dimensional compact manifold, we analyze the structure of the regular level set $f^{-1}$(-1). These results give a good understanding of the given manifolds.

  • A canonical Finsler connection Nr is defined by a generalized Finsler structure called a (G, N)-structure, where G is a generalized Finsler metric and N is a nonlinear connection given in a differentiable manifold, respectively. If NT is linear, then the(G, N)-structure has a linearity in a sense and is called Berwaldian. In the present paper, we discuss what it means that NT is with a vanishing hv-torsion: ${P^{i}}\;_{jk}\;=\;0$ and introduce the notion of a stronger type for linearity of a (G, N)-structure. For important examples, we finally investigate the cases of a Finsler manifold and a Rizza manifold.

  • One purpose of this paper is to consider the reflection symmetries of the q-Genocchi polynomials $G^*_{n,q}(x)$. We also observe the structure of the roots of q-Genocchi polynomials, $G^*_{n,q}(x)$, using numerical investigation. By numerical experiments, we demonstrate a remarkably regular structure of the real roots of $G^*_{n,q}(x)$.

  • Mesoporous alumina particles were prepared by spray pyrolysis using cetyltrimethyl-ammonium bromide (CTAB) as a structure directing agent and the effect of Al precursor types on the texture properties was studied using $N_2$ adsorption isotherms, small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The surface area and the microstructure of alumina particles were significantly influenced by the Al precursor type. The largest BET surface area was obtained when Al chloride was used, whereas alumina particles prepared from Al acetate had the largest pore volume. According to small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) analysis, the alumina powders prepared using nitrate and acetate precursors had a clear single SAXS peak around $2{\theta}=1.0{\sim}1.5^{\circ}$, indicating that regular mesopores with sponge-like structure were produced. On the basis of TEM, SAXS, and $N_2$ isotherm results, the chloride precursor was most profitable to obtain the largest surface area ($265\;m^2/g$), whereas, the nitrate precursor is useful for the preparation of non-hollow mesoporous alumina with regular pore size, maintaining high surface area (${\sim}233\;m^2/g$).

  • The authors [6] introduced the concept of a complete matrix of grade $g$ > 3 to describe a structure theorem for complete intersections of grade $g$ > 3. We show that a complete matrix can be used to construct the Eagon-Northcott complex [7]. Moreover, we prove that it is the minimal free resolution $\mathbb{F}$ of a class of determinantal ideals of $n{\times}(n+2)$ matrices $X=(x_{ij})$ such that entries of each row of $X=(x_{ij})$ form a regular sequence and the second differential map of $\mathbb{F}$ is a matrix $f$ defined by the complete matrices of grade $n+2$.

  • If the Wiener-Hopf $C^*$-algebra W(G,M) for a discrete group G with a semigroup M has the uniqueness property, then the structure of it is to some extent independent of the choice of isometries on a Hilbert space. In this paper we show that if the Wiener-Hopf $C^*$-algebra W(G,M) of a partially ordered group G with the positive cone M has the uniqueness property, then (G,M) is weakly unperforated. We also prove that the Wiener-Hopf $C^*$-algebra W($\mathbb{Z}$, M) of subsemigroup generating the integer group $\mathbb{Z}$ is isomorphic to the Toeplitz algebra, but W($\mathbb{Z}$, M) does not have the uniqueness property except the case M = $\mathbb{N}$.

  • For an $m{\times}n$ nonnegative integral matrix A, a generalized inverse of A is an $n{\times}m$ nonnegative integral matrix G satisfying AGA = A. In this paper, we characterize nonnegative integral matrices having generalized inverses using the structure of nonnegative integral idempotent matrices. We also define a space decomposition of a nonnegative integral matrix, and prove that a nonnegative integral matrix has a generalized inverse if and only if it has a space decomposition. Using this decomposition, we characterize nonnegative integral matrices having reflexive generalized inverses. And we obtain conditions to have various types of generalized inverses.

  • The results of the Crab pulsar observations with the photometrical MANIA (Multichannel Analysis of Nanosecond Intensity Alterations) complex at the 6-m telescope are presented. More than 12 millions photons in UBVR-bands simultaneously with time resolution of $10^{-7}s$ were detected. Using the original software for search for optical pulsar period, we obtained the light curves of the object with time resolution of about 3.3 ${\mu}s$. Their detailed analysis gives the spectral change during pulse and subpulse, the shape of the pulse peaks, which are plateaus (with the duration of about 50${\mu}s$ for the main pulse), limits for an amplitude of fine temporal (stochastic and regular) structure of pulse and sub pulse and the interpulse space intensity. The results of CCD-spectroscopy of the Crab pulsar show that its summarized spectrum is flat. There are no lines, neither emission nor absorbtion ones. Upper limit for line intensity or depth is $3.5\%$ with the confidence probability of $95\%$.

  • A modified silicon direct bonding method has been developed alloying an intimate contact between grooved and smooth mirror-polished oxide-free silicon wafers. A regular set of grooves was formed during preparation of heavily doped $p^+$-type grid network by oxide-masking und boron diffusion. Void-free bonded interfaces with filing of the grooves were observed by x-ray diffraction topography, infrared, optical. and scanning electron microscope techniques. The presence of regularly formed grooves in bending plane results in the substantial decrease of dislocation over large areas near the interface. Moreover two strongly misoriented waters could be successfully bonded by new technique. Diodes with bonded a pn-junction yielded a value of the ideality factor n about 1.5 and the uniform distribution of series resistance over the whole area of horded pn-structure. The suitability of the modified technique was confirmed by I - V characteristics of power diodes and reversly switched-on dynistor(RSD) with a working area about $12cm^2$. Both devices demonstrated breakdown voltages close to the calculation values.

  • This study focuses on the hardware implementation of fast and low-system-complexity multiplier over GF(2$^{m}$ ). From the properties of an irreducible AOP of degree m. the modular reduction in GF(2$^{m}$ ) multiplicative operation can be simplified using cyclic shift operation. And then, GF(2$^{m}$ ) multiplicative operation can be established using the away structure of AND and XOR gates. The proposed multiplier is composed of m(m+1) 2-input AND gates and (m+1)$^2$ 2-input XOR gates. And the minimum critical path delay is Τ$_{A+}$〔lo $g_2$$^{m}$ 〕Τ$_{x}$ proposed multiplier obtained have low circuit complexity and delay time, and the interconnections of the circuit are regular, well-suited for VLSI realization.n.
