  • The square of Brownian density process $Q^\lambda$ is defined where $\lambda$ is a parameter. Applying limit theorems of stochastic integrals w.r.t. martingale measure, we prove a weak limit theorem for $Q^\lambda$ in $D_{S'(R^d)}[0,1]$.

  • This paper proposes a performance improvement of existing single-phase current-fed qZ-Source inverter. Voltage gain of the traditional voltage-fed full-bridge inverter and single-phase current-fed qZ-source inverter is only equal to or smaller than input voltage. The proposed inverter can obtain twice higher voltage gain than the single-phase current-fed qZ-Source inverter by adding an extra switch and a capacitor in the circuit. In addition, the proposed inverter shares the common ground between dc input and ac output voltage. Therefore, the proposed inverter can eliminate the possible ground leakage current problem when it is used for grid-tied photovoltaic inverter system. A 120 W prototype inverter is built and tested to verify performances of the proposed inverter.

  • This study presents an extended boost single-phase qZ-source DC-AC inverter for a single-phase photovoltaic system. Unlike the previously proposed single-phase qZ-source and semi-qZ-source inverters that achieve the same output voltage as that of the traditional voltage-fed full-bridge inverter, the proposed inverter can obtain higher output than input voltage. The proposed inverter also shares a common ground between DC input voltage and AC output voltage. Thus, possible ground leakage current problem in non-isolated grid-tied inverters can be eliminated with the proposed inverter. A 120 W prototype inverter is built and tested to verify the performance of the proposed inverter.

  • In present paper, inspired by the recently paper [1], we give the mixed pressure-velocity regular criteria in view of Lorentz spaces for weak solutions to 3D micropolar equations in a half space. Precisely, if (0.1) ${\frac{P}{(e^{-{\mid}x{\mid}^2}+{\mid}u{\mid})^{\theta}}{\in}L^p(0,T;L^{q,{\infty}}({\mathbb{R}}^3_+))$, p, q < ∞, and (0.2) ${\frac{2}{p}}+{\frac{3}{q}}=2-{\theta}$, 0 ≤ θ ≤ 1, then (u, w) is regular on (0, T].

  • Recently many people have studied the Sobolev orthogonal polynomials, that is, polynomials which are orthogonal relative to a symmetric bilinear form $\phi(\cdot,\cdot)$ defined by $$ (1.1) $\phi(p,q) := (p,q)_N = \sum_{k=0}^{N} \int_{R}p^(k) (x)q^(k) (x) d\mu_k, $$ where each $d\mu_k$ is a signed Borel measure on the real line $R$ with finite moments of all orders. Genetic Structure of the phnM Gene Encoding Plant-Type Ferredoxin from Pseudomonas sp. strain DJ77 (Pseudomonas sp. strain DJ77에서 Plant-Type의 Ferredoxin을 암호화하는 phnM 유전자의 구조)

  • We cloned the 4.8 kb BglII fragment containing genes downstream pHENX7 from Pseudomonas sp. strain DJ77. The restriction map of the resultant clone, recombinant plasmid pYCS500, was determined. Sequencing analysis of the 465 bp HindIII-ClaI fragment revealed an open reading frame of 282 bp that was then designated phnM. The deduced polypeptide is 93 amino acid residues long with a $M_r$ of 10,008. The PhnM has 37.3-53.9% identity with plant-type ferredoxin proteins such as NahT, XylT, DmpQ, AtdS, PhlG, PhhQ and TbuW and contains the motif similar to well-conserved functional domains of those proteins.

  • 폐 자기회로 구조를 갖는 Meander 형태의 Inductor 설계를 위해 HFSS 프로그램을 이용하여 Meander Inductor를 시뮬레이션 하였다. Meander Inductor의 turn 수(N) 및 폭(W), 두께(T), 랩(G)의 변화에 따른 인덕턴스(L), S-parameter(S)와 Q-factor(Q)의 변화를 HFSS 를 통해 측정하였다. Al2O3 기판과 MgO의 두께는 각각 680um, 50um로 고정하였고, silver electrode를 이용하여 Meander 타입의 Inductor를 설계하였다. Meander Inductor의 turn수(6,7,8turn)의 변화를 측정한 결과, 8턴이었을 때 Q-factor가 19로서 가장 높은 결과를 얻었다. L의 결과 값은 공진 주파수와 의 관계에 의해 6turn일 때 L값은 17GHz에서 공진현상이 나타났다. 또한 W, G, T에 변화를 주어 설계한 뒤 시뮬레이션의 결과 값을 측정하였다. 그 값을 서로 비교한 결과, 변수들의 변화에 따라 L값과 Q-factor가 변화되었다. 이 논문에서는 각 변수에 따른 meander inductor의 특성을 HFSS 시뮬레이션을 통해 비교하고자 한다.

Identification and phylogenetic analysis of the human endogenous retrovirus HERV-W pol in cDNA library of human fetal brain (인간태아의 뇌로부터 유래된 cDNA liberary에서 내생레트로바이러스 HERV-W pol 유전자의 동정과 계통)

  • A human endogenous retroviral family (HERV-W) has recently been described that is related to multiple sclerosis-associated retrovirus (MSRV) sequences that have been identified in particles recovered from monocyte cultures from patients with multiple sclerosis. Two pol fragments (HWP-FB10 and HWP-FBl2) of HERV-W family were identified and analysed by the PCR approach with cDNA library of human fetal brain. They showed 89 percent nucleotide sequence similarity with that of the HERV-W (accession no. AF009668). Deletion/insertion or point mutation in the coding region of the pol fragments from human fetal brain resulted in amino acid frameshift that induced a mutated protein. Phylogenetic analysis of the HERV-W family from GenBank database indicates that the HWP-FB10 is very closely related to the AC000064 derived from human chromosome 7q21-q22. Further studies on the genetic relationship with neighbouring genes and functional role of these new HERV-W pol sequences are indicated.

  • Let G = (V ; E) be a simple undirected graph without loops and multiple edges, the vertex and edge sets of it are represented by V = V (G) and E = E(G), respectively. A weighting w of the edges of a graph G induces a coloring of the vertices of G where the color of vertex v, denoted $S_v:={\Sigma}_{e{\ni}v}\;w(e)$. A k-edge-weighting of a graph G is an assignment of an integer weight, w(e) ${\in}${1,2,...,k} to each edge e, such that two vertex-color $S_v$, $S_u$ be distinct for every edge uv. In this paper we determine an exact 3-edge-weighting of complete graphs $k_{3q+1}\;{\forall}_q\;{\in}\;{\mathbb{N}}$. Several open questions are also included.

  • In this paper, we are concerned with the existence of infinitely many fast homoclinic solutions for the following damped vibration system $$(1){\hspace{32}}{\ddot{u}}(t)+q(t){\dot{u}}(t)-L(t)u(t)+{\nabla}W(t,u(t))=0,\;{\forall}t{\in}{\mathbb{R}},$$ where q ∈ C(ℝ, ℝ), L ∈ C(ℝ, ${\mathbb{R}}^{N^2}$) is a symmetric and positive definite matix-valued function and W ∈ C1(ℝ×ℝN, ℝ). The novelty of this paper is that, assuming that L is bounded from below unnecessarily coercive at infinity, and W is only locally defined near the origin with respect to the second variable, we show that (1) possesses infinitely many homoclinic solutions via a variant symmetric mountain pass theorem.
