The cyclic group $Cn={\langle}(12{\cdots}n){\rangle}$ acts on the set ($^{[n]}_k$) of all $k$-subsets of [$n$]. In this action of $C_n$ the number of orbits of size $d$, for $d|n$, is $$O^{n,k}_d=\frac{1}{d}\sum_{\frac{n}{d}|s|n}{\mu}(\frac{ds}{n})(^{n/s}_{k/s})$$. Stanton and White[7] generalized the above identity to construct the orbit polynomials $$O^{n,k}_d(q)=\frac{1}{[d]_{q^{n/d}}}\sum_{\frac{n}{d}|s|n}{\mu}(\frac{ds}{n})[^{n/s}_{k/s}]{_q}^s$$ and conjectured that $O^{n,k}_d(q)$ have non-negative coefficients. In this paper we give a combinatorial proof for the positivity of coefficients of the orbit polynomial $O^{n,3}_d(q)$.

From an analytical perspective, we introduce a sequence of Cartier operators that act on the field of formal Laurent series in one variable with coefficients in a field of positive characteristic p. In this work, we discover the binomial inversion formula between Hasse derivatives and Cartier operators, implying that Cartier operators can play a prominent role in various objects of study in function field arithmetic, as a suitable substitute for higher derivatives. For an applicable object, the Wronskian criteria associated with Cartier operators are introduced. These results stem from a careful study of two types of Cartier operators on the power series ring ${\mathbf{F}}_q$[[T]] in one variable T over a finite field ${\mathbf{F}}_q$ of q elements. Accordingly, we show that two sequences of Cartier operators are an orthonormal basis of the space of continuous ${\mathbf{F}}_q$-linear functions on ${\mathbf{F}}_q$[[T]]. According to the digit principle, every continuous function on ${\mathbf{F}}_q$[[T]] is uniquely written in terms of a q-adic extension of Cartier operators, with a closed-form of expansion coefficients for each of the two cases. Moreover, the p-adic analogues of Cartier operators are discussed as orthonormal bases for the space of continuous functions on ${\mathbf{Z}}_p$.

The main object of this paper is to present a transformation formula for a finite series involving $_3F_2$ and some identities associated with the binomial coefficients by making use of the theory of Legendre polynomials $P_{n}$(x) and some summation theorems for hypergeometric functions $_pF_q$. Some integral formulas are also considered.

주낙으로 어획된 다랑어의 위내에 들어있는 꽁치 머리의 빈도분포를 해석하여 미끼를 삼킨 다랑어가 그 낚시에 낚이는 어획률을 추정하기 위하여 2항분포식에서 유도한 수식을 적용하였다. 꽁치 머리를 삼킨 다랑어가 그 낚시에 낚이는 확률을 p, 낚이지 아니하는 확률을 q, 낚시에 낚인 다랑어가 그 낚시에서 미끼 꽁치 머리를 위속에 보유하는 확률을 r, 낚이기 전에 삼킨 꽁치 머리를 보유하는 확률을 t로 하는 수식에 꽁치 머리빈도의 관측치를 적합 시켜서 다음과 같은 $\frac{p}{p+q^t}$값과 r의 최적추정치를 얻었다. 황다랑어; $\frac{p}{p+q^t}$=0.789, r=0.598 눈다랑어; $\frac{p}{p+q^t}$=0.810 r=0.608, 날개다랑어; $\frac{p}{p+q^t}$=0.838, r=0.621.

In this paper, we define a new kind of formal power series rings by using Gaussian binomial coefficients and investigate some properties. More precisely, we call such a ring a Gaussian series ring and study McCoy's theorem, Hermite properties and Noetherian properties.

In this paper, we give new congruences with the generalized Catalan numbers and harmonic numbers modulo p². One of our results is as follows: for prime number p > 3, $${\sum\limits_{k=(p+1)/2}^{p-1}}\;k^2B_{p,k}B_{p,k-(p-1)/2}H_k{\equiv}(-1)^{(p-1)/2}\(-{\frac{521}{36}}p-{\frac{1}{p}}-{\frac{41}{12}}+pH^2_{3(p-1)/2}-10pq^2_p(2)+4\({\frac{10}{3}}p+1\)q_p(2)\)\;(mod\;p^2),$$ where q_p(2) is Fermat quotient.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to show current states of domestic Precision Guided Missile(PGM) by analyzing Live-fire test results using general methods to get the Confidence Levels. Methods: Live-fire test results were used to get Confidence Levels of PGM. The Confidence Levels were derived by two general methods. The first method was Binomial distribution and second was convergence of Hypergeometric distribution and Bayes' rule. Results: The results of this study are as follows; The more Live-fire tests of PGM are performed, the higher Confidence Level of PGM will be estimated. And the number of Live-fire tests are related to a unit price of PGM. This results means that the increase of live-fire test, which is useful data for preparation and evaluation of Development Tests / Operation Tests for PGMs, is only way to enhance the Confidence Levels of each PGMs. Conclusion: This study shows the relationship between the Live-fire tests and Confidence Levels of PGMs and it will be used on Live-fire Test & Evaluation of PGMs for reference.

사용자가 컨텐츠의 소비자에 그치는 것이 아니라 생산자 역할까지 담당하는 웹 2.0 시대에는 사용자의 지속적 컨텐츠 생산이 온라인 사이트의 성공에 핵심 요소가 된다. 온라인 Q&A 사이트는 웹 2.0 트렌드의 대표적 사례로, 고품질의 지식을 반복적으로 공유하는 핵심 사용자들이 지속적으로 지식을 공유하도록 하는 것이 사이트의 성패를 결정짓는다. 본 연구는 핵심 사용자의 지식공유 지속행위를 유발하는 두가지 경로, 즉 지속의도로 대표되는 정교한 의사결정 과정(elaborate decision process)와 과거행위로 대표되는 자동화된 인지적 과정(automated cognitive process)을 제안하였다. 네이버 지식인의 핵심 사용자 337인의 주관적 의도 데이터와 객관적 온라인 행동 데이터를 수집한 뒤, 지속의도와 과거행위의 직접효과 및 둘 간의 조절효과를 검증해 보았다. 종속변수로 이전 연구에서 주로 사용되었던 지식공유 빈도를 측정하는 것과 더불어, 특정 기간 이상 답변활동이 없을 경우 지식공유를 중단한 것으로 판단하는 지식공유 지속여부를 측정하였다. 콕스비례위험 회귀분석과 음이항 회귀분석을 사용하여 지속의도와 과거행위가 지속행위의 두가지 유형에 미치는 효과를 살펴본 결과, 지식공유 지속여부에는 과거행위만 유의한 영향력을 보였으며, 지식공유 빈도에는 지속의도와 과거행위 모두 유의한 영향력을 보였다. 또한, 과거행위가 지속의도의 지식공유 빈도에 대한 영향력을 부정적으로 조절하는 것까지 확인할 수 있었다. 온라인 Q&A 사이트에서 핵심 사용자들의 지식공유 행위를 지속시키기 위해서는 꾸준한 지식공유를 통해 습관화 과정을 거치는 것이 중요하며, 지식공유 빈도를 높이고자 할 경우에는 습관화와 더불어 지식공유 지속의도를 높일 수 있는 적절한 혜택의 마련이 필요하다.
