  • Let R be an associative ring with identity and M be a left R-module. In this paper, we define modules that have the property (δ-CE) ((δ-CEE)), these are modules that have a δ-supplement (ample δ-supplements) in every cofinite extension which are generalized version of modules that have the properties (CE) and (CEE) introduced in [6] and so a generalization of Zöschinger's modules with the properties (E) and (EE) given in [23]. We investigate various properties of these modules along with examples. In particular we prove these: (1) a module M has the property (δ-CEE) if and only if every submodule of M has the property (δ-CE); (2) direct summands of a module that has the property (δ-CE) also have the property (δ-CE); (3) each factor module of a module that has the property (δ-CE) also has the property (δ-CE) under a special condition; (4) every module with composition series has the property (δ-CE); (5) over a δ-V -ring a module M has the property (δ-CE) if and only if M is cofinitely injective; (6) a ring R is δ-semiperfect if and only if every left R-module has the property (δ-CE).

  • Let M be a generalized homogeneous compact space, and let Z(M) denotes the space of homeomorphisms of M with the $C^0$ topology. In this paper, we show that if the interior of the set of weak stable homeomorphisms on M is not empty then for any open subset W of Z(M) containing only weak stable homeomorphisms the orbital shadowing property is generic in W.

  • Let X be a Banach space and Z a closed subspace of a Banach space Y. Denote by L(X, Y) the space of all bounded linear operators from X to Y and by K(X, Y) its subspace of compact linear operators. Using Hahn-Banach extension operators corresponding to ideal projections, we prove that if either $X^{**}$ or $Y^{*}$ has the Radon-Nikodym property and K(X, Y) is an M-ideal (resp. an HB-subspace) in L(X, Y), then K(X, Z) is also an M-ideal (resp. HB-subspace) in L(X, Z). If L(X, Y) has property SU instead of being an M-ideal in L(X, Y) in the above, then K(X, Z) also has property SU in L(X, Z). If X is a Banach space such that $X^{*}$ has the metric compact approximation property with adjoint operators, then M-ideal (resp. HB-subspace) property of K(X, Y) in L(X, Y) is inherited to K(X, Z) in L(X, Z).

  • It is well known that the approximation property and the compact approximation property are not hereditary properties; that is, a closed subspace M of a Banach space X with the (compact) approximation property need not have the (compact) approximation property. In 1973, A. Davie [2] proved that for each 2 < p < $\infty$, there is a closed subspace $Y_{p}$ of $\ell_{p}$ which does not have the approximation property. In fact, the space Davie constructed even fails to have a weaker property, the compact approximation property. In 1991, A. Lima [12] proved that if X is a Banach space with the approximation property and a closed subspace M of X is locally $\lambda$-complemented in X for some $1\leq\lambda < $\infty$, then M has the approximation property.(omitted)

  • In this paper, all near-rings R are left near-rings and all representations of R are (right) R-groups. We start with a study of AR, almost AR and AGR rings which are motivated by the works on the Sullivan's Problem [10] and its properties. Next, for any R-group G, we introduce a notion of R-groups with M R-property and investigate their properties and some characterizations of these R-groups. Finally, for the faithful M R-property, we get a commutativity of near-rings and rings.

  • Let M be an R-module and S a semigroup. Our goal is to discuss zero-divisors of the semigroup module M[S]. Particularly we show that if M is an R-module and S a commutative, cancellative and torsion-free monoid, then the R[S]-module M[S] has few zero-divisors of size n if and only if the R-module M has few zero-divisors of size n and Property (A).

  • X and Y are Banach spaces for which K(X, Y), the space of compact operators from X to Y, is an M-ideal in L(X, Y), the space of bounded linear operators form X to Y. If Z is a closed subspace of Y such that L(X, Z) has property SU in L(X, Y) and d(T, K(X, Z)) = d(T, K(X, Y)) for all $T \in L(X, Z)$, then K(X, Z) is an M-ideal in L(X, Z) if and only if it has property SU is L(X, Z).

  • Given an ACM set 𝕏 of points in a multiprojective space ℙm×ℙn over a field of characteristic zero, we are interested in studying the Kähler different and the Cayley-Bacharach property for 𝕏. In ℙ1×ℙ1, the Cayley-Bacharach property agrees with the complete intersection property and it is characterized by using the Kähler different. However, this result fails to hold in ℙm×ℙn for n > 1 or m > 1. In this paper we start an investigation of the Kähler different and its Hilbert function and then prove that 𝕏 is a complete intersection of type (d1, …, dm, d'1, …, d'n) if and only if it has the Cayley-Bacharach property and the Kähler different is non-zero at a certain degree. We characterize the Cayley-Bacharach property of 𝕏 under certain assumptions.

  • We deal with a type of inverse pseudo-orbit tracing property with respect to the class of continuous methods, as suggested and studied by Pilyugin [54]. In this paper, we consider a continuous method induced through the diffeomorphism of a compact smooth manifold, and using the concept, we proved the following: (i) If a diffeomorphism f of a compact smooth manifold M has the robustly pointwise inverse pseudoorbit tracing property, f is structurally stable. (ii) For a C1 generic diffeomorphism f of a compact smooth manifold M, if f has the pointwise inverse pseudo-orbit tracing property, f is structurally stable. (iii) If a diffeomorphism f has the robustly pointwise inverse pseudo-orbit tracing property around a transitive set Λ, then Λ is hyperbolic for f. Finally, (iv) for C1 generically, if a diffeomorphism f has the pointwise inverse pseudo-orbit tracing property around a locally maximal transitive set Λ, then Λ is hyperbolic for f. In addition, we investigate cases of volume preserving diffeomorphisms.
