  • A connection between weak ${\pi}-regularity$ and the condition every prime ideal is maximal will be investigated. We prove that a certain 2-primal ring R is weakly ${\pi}-regular$ if and only if every prime ideal is maximal. This result extends several known results nontrivially. Moreover a characterization of minimal prime ideals is also considered.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with 1 ≠ 0. In this paper, we introduce a subclass of the class of 1-absorbing primary ideals called the class of strongly 1-absorbing primary ideals. A proper ideal I of R is called strongly 1-absorbing primary if whenever nonunit elements a, b, c ∈ R and abc ∈ I, then ab ∈ I or c ∈ ${\sqrt{0}}$. Firstly, we investigate basic properties of strongly 1-absorbing primary ideals. Hence, we use strongly 1-absorbing primary ideals to characterize rings with exactly one prime ideal (the UN-rings) and local rings with exactly one non maximal prime ideal. Many other results are given to disclose the relations between this new concept and others that already exist. Namely, the prime ideals, the primary ideals and the 1-absorbing primary ideals. In the end of this paper, we give an idea about some strongly 1-absorbing primary ideals of the quotient rings, the polynomial rings, and the power series rings.

  • In this paper, for any ring R with an identity, in order to study prime ideals of the endomorphism ring $End_R$(M) of left R-module $_RM$, meet-prime submodules, prime radical, sum-prime submodules and the prime socle of a module are defined. Some relations of the prime radical, the prime socle of a module and the prime radical of the endomorphism ring of a module are investigated. It is revealed that meet-prime(or sum-prime) modules and semi-meet-prime(or semi-sum-prime) modules have their prime, semi-prime endomorphism rings, respectively.

  • Let R be a strongly 2-primal ring and I a proper ideal of R. Then there are only finitely many prime ideals minimal over I if and only if for every prime ideal P minimal over I, the ideal $P/{\sqrt{I}}$ of $R/{\sqrt{I}}$ is finitely generated if and only if the ring $R/{\sqrt{I}}$ satisfies the ACC on right annihilators. This result extends "D. D. Anderson, A note on minimal prime ideals, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 122 (1994), no. 1, 13-14." to large classes of noncommutative rings. It is also shown that, a 2-primal ring R only has finitely many minimal prime ideals if each minimal prime ideal of R is finitely generated. Examples are provided to illustrate our results.

  • We study the relationship between a property of a triangular subset and coassociated prime ideals of the module of generalized fractions induced by the triangular subset, and investigate coassociated prime ideals of modules of generalized fractions defined by some special triangular subsets.

  • Relationships between the prime ideals of a ring R and of a normalizing extension S have been studied by several authors. Relationships between the prime ideals of a ring R and of an intermediate normalizing extension T also have studied by several authors where $R{\subset}T{\subset}S$. In this note, some relationships between prime ideals of T and S are studied.

  • As a continuation of the paper [3], in this paper we investigate the further properties on LI-ideals, and show that how to generate an LI-ideal by both and LI-ideal and an element. We define a prime LI-ideal, and give an equivalent condition for a proper LI-ideal to be prime. Using this result, we establish the extension property and prime LI-ideal theorem.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of 1-prime ideals and 2-prime ideals in semirings. We have also introduced $m_1$-system and $m_2$-system in semiring. We have shown that if Q is an ideal in the semiring R and if M is an $m_2$-system of R such that $\overline{Q}{\bigcap}M={\emptyset}$ then there exists as 2-prime ideal P of R such that Q $\subseteq$ P with $P{\bigcap}M={\emptyset}$.

  • Let R be a commutative ring with identity, and ${\phi}:{\mathfrak{I}}(R){\rightarrow}{\mathfrak{I}}(R){\cup}\{{\varnothing}\}$ be a function where ${\mathfrak{I}}(R)$ is the set of all ideals of R. Following [2], a proper ideal P of R is called a ${\phi}$-prime ideal if $x,y{\in}R$ with $xy{\in}P-{\phi}(P)$ implies $x{\in}P$ or $y{\in}P$. For an ideal I of R, we define the ${\phi}$-radical ${\sqrt[{\phi}]{I}}$ to be the intersection of all ${\phi}$-prime ideals of R containing I, and show that this notion inherits most of the essential properties of the usual notion of radical of an ideal. We also investigate when the set of all ${\phi}$-prime ideals of R, denoted $Spec_{\phi}(R)$, has a Zariski topology analogous to that of the prime spectrum Spec(R), and show that this topological space is Noetherian if and only if ${\phi}$-radical ideals of R satisfy the ascending chain condition.
