Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the level of importance, difficulty, satisfaction, and needs of biological nursing science courses-pathophysiology and pharmacology- among students of Advanced Practice Nursing Programs. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study using a self-report questionnaire has been adopted. Participants in this survey were 436 graduate students enrolled in an Advanced Practice Nursing Program. Using SPSS WIN 18.0 program, descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and t-test were conducted. Results: In a pathophysiology course, the students taught by nurse lecturers presented a higher level of importance and satisfaction than those were taught by non-nurse lecturers, but the difference was not significant statistically. In a pharmacology course, the students were taught by nurse lecturers expressed a higher level of satisfaction than those were taught by non-nurse lecturers, but the difference was not significant statistically. The students wanted to improve the quality of courses. Conclusion: According to the findings of this study, we should try to improve the quality of classes and to increase the number of courses taught by nurse-lecturers.

본 연구는 NCS 학습모듈을 효과적으로 실무과목 수업에 활용할 수 있도록 계획을 수립하는데 필요한 기초 자료의 제공을 목적으로 하며, 이를 위해 건설 교과 실무과목 수업에 활용되는 NCS(National Competency Standards) 학습모듈, 진로 및 현장실습, 실습환경 등에 대해 충청권(대전광역시 포함) 소재 공립 특성화고등학교 교사 및 학생의 만족도 조사를 실시하였다. 연구문제로는 첫째, NCS 학습모듈을 활용한 실무과목 수업에 대한 교사와 학생의 만족도는 어떠한가, 둘째, NCS 학습모듈을 활용한 실무과목 수업 후 교사의 진로 및 현장실습 지도 측면, 학생의 진로결정 및 현장실습에 대한 만족도는 어느 정도인가, 셋째, 개발된 NCS 학습모듈 및 이를 활용한 실무과목 수업에 대한 만족도에 대해 NCS 관련 교사의 연수횟수(유무) 또는 학생의 현장실습 유무가 영향이 있는가로 설정하여 구명하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 교사와 학생의 만족도를 비교한 결과, 학생은 전반적으로 모든 항목에서 만족하는 편을 보인 반면, 교사는 '내용수준', '흥미', '필요지식', '기술습득(기술수행수준)', '실무능력향상(기술수행수준)', '실험실습장규모', '실험실습장기자재' 항목 등에서 불만족하는 편을 보였다. 개발된 NCS 학습모듈 및 이를 활용한 실무과목 수업에 대한 만족도에 대해 NCS 관련 교사의 연수횟수(유무) 또는 학생의 현장실습 유무가 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 개발된 NCS 학습모듈이 실무과목 수업에 충분히 활용되기 위해서는 개념정리 및 직무기술 이해에 관한 중간 매개 역할을 해줄 수 있는 교사의 수업자료의 개발 및 구축이 요구되며, NCS 학습모듈의 개발인력 구성에서 교육훈련전문가의 수를 늘려 교육현장의 요구를 적극적으로 반영할 필요가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the needs of learners in an advanced major course in a bid to strike a balance between theory and practice. And it's also meant to suggest an actual case of that effort in an advanced course. As a result of analyzing the collected data, the largest number of the learners who signed up for the advanced course chose that course to earn a bachelor's degree, and the second greatest group did that to bolster their expertise. The name of the college that offered that course (41.4%) had the most impact on their choice of it, followed by accessibility(28.6%). The most common thing they practiced in the oral health education course as one of major courses was forming a lesson plan, followed by teaching at schools and kindergartens, trial student teaching, producing PPT, making OHP materials, making a bulletin board and producing leaflets. During clinical activities for oral health education, the largest group considered it necessary to learn about more theories on educational psychology(54%), followed by the production of teaching media(29.9%) and teaching methods(25.3%). Likewise, the greatest group found it more necessary to practice educational psychology(42.5%), followed by the utilization of media(37.9%) and teaching methods(28.7%). An one-on-one interview was implemented before and after their classes to obtain more detailed information on their needs, and what their needs were in relation to the given curriculum was eventually confirmed, which made it possible to offer better education in response to their needs.

본 논문에서는 비전공자들을 위한 교양과정으로, 기초 합성곱신경망 과목 커리큘럼을 설계하는데 필수적으로 요구되는 합성곱신경망 기초 실습 사례를 개발하였다. 개발된 실습 사례는 합성곱신경망의 동작원리를 이해시키는 데 초점을 두고, 시각화된 전체 과정을 확인할 수 있도록 스프레드시트를 사용하였다. 개발된 실습 사례는 지도학습 방식의 이미지 훈련데이터 생성, 입력층, 컨볼루션층(합성곱층), 풀링층 그리고 출력층을 차례대로 구현하고, 신규 데이터에 대해 합성곱신경망의 성능을 테스트하는 것으로 구성되었다. 본 논문에서 개발한 실습사례를 확장하여 인식하려는 이미지 개수를 확장하거나, 고화질의 이미지에 대한 압축률을 높이는 합성곱신경망을 만드는 기초 실습 사례를 만들 수 있다. 따라서, 본 합성곱신경망 기초 실습 사례의 활용도가 높다고 할 수 있다.

The various and serious types of disaster occur everyday and everywhere on the earth. There is no doubt that it is very timely to discuss about the effectiveness and preparedness of disaster. The purpose of this study is to develop a curriculum on the disaster management through reviewing disaster concepts and the disaster management system. For the empirical relevance of the study, researchers participated in a couple or more disaster training program, reviewed references, and consulted to the experts working on action parts in the area. As a result, the 'Integrated Disaster Management System Model (IDMSM)' was designed, in which four dimensions were explained. Then the 'Disaster Curriculum Model (DCM)' was explored with its theoretical framework based on the system model. The developed curriculum is composed of four levels ; the introductory course, the fundamental course, the advanced course, and the expert course. From this DCM, basically the course-outlines of two subjects in the introductory course, 18 subjects in the fundamental course (5 of direct services. 13 of indirect services) were developed. Also each course-outline was explored by its course objective, learning objectives, contents, and its length. Finally to make the most of the results, suggestions are proposed. The governmental considerations on the policy should support the systematic and integrated educational program to practice, appointing 「Disaster School」 or 「Disaster Training Center」 of relevance and accountabilities. The further study should explore the higher levels of the DCM through interdisciplinary efforts, and develop the text aterials. ilities. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to prolong, non face-to-face, online classes has become the new normal in education. To examine the effect of course types and course delivery modes on student course satisfaction, the study analyzed survey data collected from 2,743 students enrolled in a 4-year university located in a metropolitan area. Basic Frequency analysis as well as keyword network analysis were used to analyze student survey data. The main results and implications of the study are as follows. First, the survey results indicated that students preferred asynchronous classes over synchronous online classes. This tendency was consistent regardless of student grades and majors as well as the course type. However, students majoring in more practice-oriented disciplines tend to prefer synchronous online classes and blended classes, and this tendency gets stronger with courses in major. Second, the keyword network analysis results further indicated that interactivity may play an important role in both synchronous and asynchronous online course satisfaction.

Microsurgical procedures are time-consuming and sometimes fatigue-inducing. However, a skilled assistant and scrub nurse can help surgery be performed more smoothly and rapidly. Three microsurgical simulation courses were held for perioperative nurses at our institution. Each course consisted of two lectures and two practice microsurgical sessions, and was evaluated with a post-course survey. The respondents all felt that their knowledge of microsurgical instruments, sutures, microscope set-up, and microsurgical skills had improved following the course. Many felt that their ability to predict what the surgeon would request during a microsurgical case improved, and that they were able to handle instruments and sutures better. The nurses also reported improved confidence in assisting with microsurgical procedures and tolerance of the long operative time in some microsurgical cases. Based on our experience, a basic microsurgery course for nurses can play a significant role in training effective and competent microsurgical scrub nurses.

본 연구는 효과적인 임상실습을 위하여 임상실습만족도에 영향을 미치는 특성을 조사하기 위하여 대구, 경부지역의 치위생(학)과에 임상실습 경험이 있는 228명의 학생들을 대상으로 전공에 대한 실습여건 특성에 따른 임상실습 만족도를 분석하였다. 학생들의 전공에 대한 실습여건이 4년제인 경우, 전공의 만족도가 높은 경우, 실습병원 선택권이 본인인 경우, 실습병원의 치과위생사 수가 많은 경우 임상실습 시 만족도가 높았으며(p<.05). 4년제인 경우, 전공의 만족도가 높은 경우, 실습병원의 치과위생사 수가 많은 경우 임상실습 평가 만족도가 높게 나타났다(p<.05). 학생들의 전공에 대한 실습여건이 4년제 학제인 경우, 전공의 만족도가 높은 경우, 치과병원인 경우, 실습병원 선택권이 본인인 경우, 치과위생사 수가 많은 경우 대인관계 만족도가 높았으며(p<.05), 4년제인 경우, 전공만족도가 높은 경우, 실습병원 선택권이 학교와 본인인 경우 실습 후 만족도가 높게 나타났다(p<.05).

This study develops and applies a service learning course that integrates university curriculum with the local community in housing and interior design. The results of the study are as follows. First, the service learning course of the housing and interior design was developed as a six-week lecture based on the project model with the theme of housing for the socially disadvantaged. Second, this course was implemented with faculty, students, interior designers, and service recipients to engage in activities to improve the educational environment of local child centers. Next, students engaged in the service learning course and continuously conducted reflection activities to enhance the effectiveness of learning. In reflection activities, students assessed that self-directed capabilities increased as has employing the coordination and applicability to meet identified community needs. Finally, faculty, students, and experts (including institutional experts and supervising departments) evaluated course practice and educational outcomes. Experts assessed that the course clarified course objectives, utilized various learning strategies, and showed that the structural reflection mode of learners and professors was overwhelmingly positive. The results indicated that service-learning courses enable students to integrate academic study with social work to better understand course content through direct engagements in experience learning. Furthermore, students are empowered by participation in public services that benefit service clients and consultants as students take more personal responsibility for learning.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to seek the direction of community health nursing practice education focus on the nursing education accreditation criteria. Methods: We collected data through e-mail survey to all of 202 Korean nursing baccalaureate education institute in April, 2016. The 93 professors teaching community health nursing was responded about their affiliated institute (response rate 46.0%). Results: The Korean nursing graduates in Feb. 2016 was practiced 3.01 credits, 131.6 hours in community health nursing course. Community health nursing practice agency was public health center (98.9%), Public health center post (43.0%), Public health center branch (32.3%) in order. The possibility to achieve the course objectives up to national examination was recognised Public health center (3.4), Public health center post (3.3), Public health center branch and school (3.2) from 5 score likert scale. A lot of nursing education institute have difficulty in clinical placement in community health nursing practice agency that meet eligibility of preceptor and space gaining for only nursing students. Conclusion: The nursing education accreditation criteria in 3rd cycle have to be considered real community health nursing practice situation and newly emerging community health nursing fields.
