  • Cauchy polynomials are also called Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind and these polynomials are very important to study mathematical physics. D. S. Kim et al. have studied some properties of Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind associated with special polynomials arising from umbral calculus. T. Kim introduced the degenerate Cauchy numbers and polynomials which are derived from the degenerate function $e^t$. Recently J. Jeong, S. H. Rim and B. M. Kim studied on finite times degenerate Cauchy numbers and polynomials. In this paper we consider finite times degenerate higher-order Cauchy numbers and polynomials, and give some identities and properties of these polynomials.

  • In this paper we define the (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli numbers and polynomials by generalizing the Bernoulli numbers and polynomials, Carlitz's type q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. We also give some interesting properties, explicit formulas, a connection with (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. Finally, we investigate the zeros of the (p, q)-analogue of Bernoulli polynomials by using computer.

  • Kim [4] defined the generalized Genocchi numbers $G_{n,x}$. In this paper, we introduce the generalized Genocchi polynomials $G_{n,x}(x)$. One purpose of this paper is to investigate the zeros of the generalized Genocchi polynomials $G_{n,x}(x)$. We also display the shape of generalized Genocchi polynomials $G_{n,x}(x)$.

  • Bae and Kim displayed a sequence of 4th degree self-reciprocal polynomials whose maximal zeros are related in a very nice and far from obvious way. Kim showed that the auxiliary polynomials in their results are related to Chebyshev polynomials. In this paper, we study two sequences of polynomials satisfying the recurrence of the auxiliary polynomials with generalized initial conditions. We obtain same results with the auxiliary polynomials from a sequence, and some interesting conjectural properties about resultants and discriminants from another sequence.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to introduce Apostol type (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi numbers and polynomials of order α and investigate some basic identities and properties for these polynomials and numbers including addition theorems, difference equations, derivative properties, recurrence relations. We also obtain integral representations, implicit and explicit formulas and relations for these polynomials and numbers. Furthermore, we consider some relationships for Apostol type (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi polynomials of order α associated with (p, q)-Apostol Bernoulli polynomials, (p, q)-Apostol Euler polynomials and (p, q)-Apostol Genocchi polynomials.

  • Recently, Korobov polynomials have been received a lot of attention, which are discrete analogs of Bernoulli polynomials. In particular, these polynomials are used to derive some interpolation formulas of many variables and a discrete analog of the Euler summation formula. In this paper, we extend these family of polynomials to consider the Korobov polynomials of the fifth kind and of the sixth kind. We present several explicit formulas and recurrence relations for these polynomials. Also, we establish a connection between our polynomials and several known families of polynomials.

  • In the present paper, we introduce (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi numbers and polynomials and investigate some basic identities and properties for these polynomials and numbers including addition theorems, difference equations, derivative properties, recurrence relations and so on. Then, we provide integral representations, implicit and explicit formulas and relations for these polynomials and numbers. We consider some relationships for (p, q)-Frobenius-Genocchi polynomials of order ${\alpha}$ associated with (p, q)-Bernoulli polynomials, (p, q)-Euler polynomials and (p, q)-Genocchi polynomials.

  • We construct a general bi-basic inverse series relation which provides extension to several q-polynomials including the Askey-Wilson polynomials and the q-Racah polynomials. We introduce a general class of polynomials suggested by this general inverse pair which would unify certain polynomials such as the q-extended Jacobi polynomials and q-Konhauser polynomials. We then emphasize on applications of the general inverse pair and obtain the generating function relations, summation formulas involving the associated polynomials and derive the p-deformation of some of the q-analogues of Riordan's classes of inverse series relations. We also illustrate the companion matrix corresponding to the general class of polynomials; this is followed by a chart showing the reducibility of the extended p-deformed Askey-Wilson polynomials as well as the extended p-deformed q-Racah polynomials.

  • In this paper, we introduce the 2-variable mixed-type Hermite polynomials and organize some new symmetric identities for these polynomials. We find induced differential equations to give explicit identities of these polynomials from the generating functions of 2-variable mixed-type Hermite polynomials.
