응급구조사의 성격유형이 직무관련 산출변수에 미치는 영향 (Impacts of Emergency Medical Technicians' Personal Traits on Job Related Outcome Variables)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of emergency medical technicians' personal traits and job characteristics on job/social stress, job satisfaction, role conflicts, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy. The study population was emergency medical technicians who is working at the hospitals in Yeungnam province. The 200 questionnaires were administered by using ground mail, e-mail, and personal visits and 156 questionnaires were returned(82.5% response rate). Social stress, job satisfaction and role conflicts were significantly determined by personal traits and job characteristic variables. However, job stress, organizational commitment and self-efficacy was only significantly determined by job characteristic variables. In social stress and role conflicts, the subjects with challenge, sociability, acceptance and prudence traits were tend to be significantly higher scores compared to the stability traits. Additionally, among social stress regression models, adding job characteristics to the personal traits model, $R^2$ was increased up to 19% and adding personal traits to the job characteristics model, $R^2$ was increased up to 14%. In conclusion, the study found that personal traits and job characteristics are important variables in explaining social stress, job satisfaction and role conflicts, that would have important managerial implications for recruiting, hiring and managing either new or current emergency medical technicians efficiently.

User-Centric Conflict Management for Media Services Using Personal Companions

  • In this paper, we propose a user-centric conflict management method for media services which exploits personal companions for the harmonious detection and resolution of service conflicts. To detect conflicts based on the varying characteristics of individual users, the proposed method exploits the unified context describing all users attempting to access media services. It recommends and mediates users' preferred media contents through a shared screen and personal companions to resolve the detected conflicts. During the recommendation, a list of preferred media contents is displayed on the shared screen, and a personally preferred content list is shown on the user's personal companion comprising the selection of media contents. Mediation assists the selection of a consensual service by gathering the users' selections and highlighting the common media contents. In experiments carried out in a ubiHome, we observed that recommendations and mediation are useful in harmoniously resolving conflicts by encouraging user participation in conflict situations.

  • This study was to examine ongoing conflicts between employees and determine the level of conflict management strategies to establish a more effective management in hotel restaurants. The results of this research show, first, conflicts exalted collective organization; the more comflicts, the lower absorption or validity of the organization. Second, the lower increase in personal conflicts, the better the validity of the organization. Therefore, hypotheses in this study can be seen as acceptable. In this study, based on the future management of hotel restaurants, there should be private groups to resolve conflicts through the organizations which can increase the validity of the organizations.

성인의 직장-가정에서의 갈등과 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the conflicts and satisfaction at the adults' places of work - family)

  • The purpose of this study is to make it clear that the influence the adults' work-family conflicts affect the family life satisfaction and the work life satisfaction of theirs, according to the personal backgrounds (sex, age, monthly income and whether the person works S days a week or not). The target group of this study is the selected 754 adults who are married with children that are in the employ of the various companies in Seoul and Incheon. The picked data are analyzed to factor analysis, frequencies, means, One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis etc..using Spss 11.5 version statistical program. Following is the result of the study: First, the level of work-family conflicts have been shown to be different as the result of verification by sex, age, monthly income and the type of duty(whether working 5days a week or not) out of the personal variables. The study shows that the level of work-family conflicts is different by the subordinate variables of work-family conflicts as the results of male and female comparison. And the older the age, the higher the level of family conflicts.'rho study shows that The level of the places of work conflicts is the highest in the 30s. The smaller monthly income, the higher the level of work-family conflicts. The study shows that the level of family conflicts is high in working 6days a week and the level of work conflicts is high in working 5days a week. Second, such factors for conflicts at home as family support, family expectations and financial difficulties affect the level of satisfaction at work, while such personal backgrounds as monthly pay, kinds of work and age level also play a role. At the same time, satisfaction in family life is influenced by such factors for conflicts at the places of work as support, involvement, expectations and work-overload at the places of work, with such personal backgrounds as monthly pay, age and sex compounding the impact. On the point how much conflicts at work and home affect the satisfaction at home, work and leisure, the study shows that family life does not have noticeable influence in the level of satisfaction at the places of work, whereas situations at the place of work have significant impact on the level of satisfaction in family lives. In other words, the lesser conflicts the work situations cause to family lives, the greater the level of satisfaction at work, home and at leisure.

다문화가족의 부부갈등과 갈등대처전략 (The Marital Conflicts and Coping Strategies in the Multicultural Families)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out marital conflicts and coping strategies among married female immigrants and Korean men in multicultural families. The data were collected by in.depth interviews with 12 female immigrants and 5 Korean men. The major findings of this study are as follows: Female participants suffered from marital conflicts with their spouses, conflicts with mothers.in.law, stereotyped gender roles as a wife and a daughter.in.law, economic conflicts, and cultural differences between Korea and their country. In addition, male participants reported conflicts from economic support for their wife's family, gender role differences, and cultural differences. Coping strategies used to deal with the conflicts, such as mutual dedication and understanding their spouse's stance, and developing a compromise for the family's happiness were mentioned. A personal positive nature and attitude helped them to meet the marital conflicts. Supports from their husband, parents.in.law, and society also helped female immigrants to adapt to cultural differences. However, some of them used negative coping strategies which did not reduce conflicts, and resulted in separation and divorce. The coping strategies to deal with the conflicts depended on the participants' personal ability. While female participants who had English language skills took advantage to adapt to Korean society, those who did not have any other natural abilities could develop a definite position in their family and society with their diligence and positive attitude. The results showed that female participants who were supported by their family and society tended to cope successfully with conflicts and also showed that multicultural families' marital adjustment was maintained with their efforts as well as by relationships with their relatives and society.

장애인활동보조서비스 갈등에 관한 에이블뉴스 보도 내용분석 (A Qualitative Content Analysis on the Ablenews Reports on Personal Assistance Service Conflicts)

  • 연구의 목적은 장애뉴스에 특화된 인터넷 독립언론매체 에이블뉴스의 장애인활동보조서비스 갈등 보도에 나타난 주요 주제를 분석하고, 활동보조서비스 갈등에 관한 보도에 내재된 관점을 비판적으로 분석하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 에이블뉴스의 장애인활동보조서비스 갈등 관련 기사들을 자료로 하여 귀납적 질적 내용분석, 인과요소와 책임귀인분석, 장애패러다임분석을 실시하였다. 내용분석결과 에이블뉴스는 장애인활동보조서비스 갈등을 충실히 보도하고 있었으나 책임귀인 분석에 의하면 갈등의 원인과 해결을 장애인이용자와 활동보조인에게 귀인하는 경향이 두드러졌다. 또한 장애패러다임 분석결과 재활모델의 관점을 반영한 텍스트들이 적지 않아 자립생활모델과 밀접한 활동보조서비스 갈등을 보도하면서 독자들에게 재활모델의 관점을 전달할 우려가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 장애에 특화된 독립언론매체로서 보다 전문적인 보도를 위해 전문기자의 활용, 외부 전문기고자의 활용, 편집회의를 통한 기사 게재 등을 제안하였다.

  • 해당 연구는 극장용 애니메이션을 서사를 중심으로 갈등을 분석하기 위해 영상에서 갈등을 분류하는 객관적이고 타당한 방법이 필요함을 인식하면서 시작되었다. 아울러 갈등을 효과적으로 비주얼 스토리텔링 하는 요소로 주인공의 정서에 주목하고, 갈등에서 나타나는 주인공의 정서를 연구하려 한다. 연구의 목적은 갈등강도와 갈등에 나타나는 정서를 분석하는 것이다. 연구결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서사의 이론적 고찰을 통해 극적전환점을 찾아내고, 갈등 분류 모델(Conflict 6B Model)을 제안하였다. 둘째, 갈등 분류 모델을 이용하여 이론에 기반한 갈등 샷(shot) DB를 추출하였다. 셋째, 내적, 초개인적 갈등에서 강도와 정서를 찾아내었다. 넷째, 내적, 초개인적 갈등에서 강도와 정서의 전문가 실험 및 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 애니메이션에서 갈등에 대한 주인공 정서의 서사적, 시각적, 심리학적인 다학제적 연구로 추출된 메타데이터(Metadata)는 애니메이션 서사에서 갈등의 비데오 인덱싱(Video Indexing)에 적용 될 것으로 기대한다.

<계축일기>에 나타난 갈등의 층위와 제시 방식 (The Layers of Conflicts and the Methods of Presenting Conflicts in Gyechugilgi)

  • 이 글에서는 <계축일기>의 성격에 대한 이해를 심화하기 위해 작품의 역사적 맥락과 작품에 제시된 갈등의 층위, 그리고 갈등의 제시 방식 등을 검토하였다. 작자는 내인들의 갈등과 수난을 상당한 비중을 두어 자세하게 다루고 있다. 이는 작자가 그것을 단순히 광해군과 인목대비의 갈등에서 파생된 부수적인 문제로 파악하고 있지 않다는 것이고, 따라서 광해군과 인목대비에 초점을 맞춰 이 작품을 이해하는 것이 작품의 실상과 거리가 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 이 작품에서는 대화를 빈번하게 교체 인용하여 갈등의 첨예함과 심각성을 효과적으로 드러내고, 갈등을 매개하는 인물을 형상화하여 사람의 욕망이 갈등을 어떻게 확대 심화시키는지 구체적으로 제시하고 있으며, 삽화를 나열하여 갈등의 상대방에 대한 비판과 자기들이 겪어야 하는 고통의 부당함을 강조하고 있다. 요컨대 작자는 갈등이 사람들 사이의 문제이고, 사람의 욕망이나 부정적 성격으로 인해 그것이 야기되고, 또 심화되기도 한다는 입장에서 광해군과 인목대비 양측의 갈등을 바라보고 있다고 할 수 있다. 흔히 광해군의 성격과 당시의 역사적 사건을 허구적으로 왜곡 과장한 점을 이 작품의 문제점, 혹은 이 작품을 소설로 보아야 하는 근거로 제시한다. 하지만 그것은 먼저 작자가 당시 상황을 정치나 역사의 관점이 아니라 사람에 초점을 맞춰 파악한 결과로 이해하는 것이 바람직하고, 이 작품의 문학적 성격과 가치도 그러한 점에서 찾아야 할 것으로 생각한다.

결혼초기 기혼남녀의 원가족특성과 갈등 및 상담요구의 관계 (The Relationship of Traits of Family of Origin, Marital Conflicts and the Needs for Counselling among Married Couples in Early Stage of Marriage)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine what characterized the family of origin among couples who had been married just for a few years, what types of conflicts they suffered, how they tackled their conjugal conflicts, what sorts of counseling services they needed in times of conjugal conflicts and how the characteristics of their families of origin and marital conflicts affected their needs for counseling. The findings of the study were as follows: First, regarding family rules and regulations, the biggest characteristic among the families of origin of the married couples investigated was that they were most aware of rules for living. The husbands were more conscious of them than the wives. Concerning their marital conflicts in each area, their conflicts were most triggered by their own personal characteristics, followed by communal life, a third person and their own conjugal relations. Second, as for their needs for counseling, the married couples were highly willing to ask for counseling in times of conflicting with each other. Third, concerning their perception of the rules of the family of origin, the husbands were more cognizant of then Fourth, regarding connections between needs for counseling and family rules, the group whose family of origin placed stronger emphasis on rules for living felt the higher needs for counseling. It's attempted in this study to provide information about counseling for married couples, on which few domestic studies have ever focused so far, and the effort to take a micro approach toward the counseling needs of married couples made it clear that their counseling needs might be different according to their family background variables and their own marital conflicts.

결혼이민여성의 부부갈등과 양육 스트레스가 양육행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Married Migrant Women's Marital Conflict and Parenting Stress on their Parenting Behaviors)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of marital conflict, parenting stress on married migrant women's parenting attitudes. Participants in this study were 109 married migrant moms of young children. The major results of this study were as follows: First, married migrant women's parenting stress and marital conflicts negatively related to warmth-encouragement, limit setting, but were positively related to rejection-noninteraction in parenting behavior. Second, married migrant women's warmth-encouragement in parenting behavior was affected by personal conflicts and couple relationship conflicts. Third, competence stress, attachment stress, spouse stress, isolation stress, and health stress also affected warmth-encourage parenting behavior. On the other hand, attachment stress, spouse stress and isolation stress had significant effects on limit setting in parenting behaviors. For rejection-noninteraction in parenting behaviors, depression and spouse stress affected significantly.
