풍력터빈 성능시험을 위한 풍동 개념연구 (Conceptual Design Study of a Low-Speed Wind Tunnel for Performance Test of Wind Turbine)

  • Conceptual study of an open-circuit type low-speed wind tunnel for test of wind turbine blade is conducted. The tunnel is constituted of a settling chamber, a contraction, closed and open test sections, a diffuser, two corners, a cross leg and a fan and motor. For the performance test, the closed test section width of 1.8 m, height of 1.8 m and length of 5.25 m is selected. The open test section with dimension width of 1.8 m, height of 1.8 m and length of 4.14 m is adopted for aeroacoustic test. The contraction ratio is 9 to 1 and maximum speed in the closed test section is 67 m/sec. Input power in the tunnel is about 238 kW and its energy ratio is 3.6. The wind tunnel designed in present study will be an effective tool in research and development of wind turbine.

대칭 및 반 대칭으로 적층된 복합재료 채널 빔의 굽힘 거동 (Bending Behaviors of CAS and CUS Thick-walled Composite Channel Beam)

  • The thick open section composite beams are used extensively as load carrying members and stiffeners of structural elements. However, most of studies on thick composite beams are limited only to closed section beams. In this study, an open cross-section thick-walled composite beam model which includes coupled stiffness, transverse shear, and warping effects is suggested and the deflections associated with the thick-walled composite beams and thin-walled composite beams are obtained and compared with the finite element analysis results. The correlation between thin and thick walled composite beam was achieved for two different layup configurations which are the circumferentially asymmetric stiffness (CAS) and circumferentially uniform stiffness (CUS) beams.

  • Most of studies on the open section composite beams are confined to the thin composite beams. There are some works focused on the thick composite beams but they are limited only to closed section beams. Therefore, it is required to develop an appropriate model to analyze the thick open section composite beams. In this study, the cantilever beams of two specific lay-up configurations are considered which are the circumferentially asymmetric stiffness (CAS) and circumferentially uniform stiffness (CUS) beams. Under the torsional loading, loading induced deformations are obtained for the thick beams using the suggested model. The model includes coupled stiffness and secondary warping effects. The results are compared with those obtained using thin beam model to observe the thickness effects. Those results are also compared with the finite element analysis results.

Dynamic Response Analysis of Open Section Structures with Warping Restraint Conditions and Impact Load Durations

  • The response analysis of frame structure with open section beams considering warping conditions and short duration load have been performed. When a beam of frame structure is subjected under torsional moment, the cross section will deform a warping as well as twist. For some thin-walled sections warping will be large, and accompanying warping restraint will induce axial and shear stresses and reduce the twist of beam which stiffens the beam in torsion. Because of impact or blast loads, the wave propagation effects become increasingly important as load duration decreases. This paper presents that a warping restraint in finite element model effects the behavior of beam deformation, dynamic mode shape and response analysis. The computer modelling of frame is discussed in linear beam element model and linear thin shell element model, also presents a correlation between computer predicted and actual experimental results for static deflection, natural frequencies and mode shapes of frame. A method to estimate the number of normal modes that are important is discussed.

개단면리브를 갖는 강바닥판 교량의 국부거동 분석 및 피로균열 보강방안 (Local Behavior of Structural Details for Orthotropic Steel Deck Bridge with Longitudinal Rib of Open Section and Retrofitting Method of Fatigue Cracks)

  • 강바닥판의 구조상세에 대하여 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있으나, 대부분의 연구가 표준형의 U-rib를 대상으로 실시되었을 뿐, 강바닥판 건설초기의 개단면리브형식에 대한 연구는 미진한 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서는 공용연수 31년된 개단면세로리브형식의 강바닥판 교량의 피로균열 발생 원인을 조사하기 위하여 실교통류하에서의 계측 데이터를 통하여 대상구조상세의 거동 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 상세구조해석을 통하여 대상교량을 통과하는 대표트럭하중을 추정하고, 상세영향면해석을 이용하여 대상구조상세의 응력 및 변형특성을 분석하였다. 이들 분석에 기초하여 피로균열이 발생된 대상구조상세의 보강방안을 제시하고, 이에 대한 타당성을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 개단면리브에서의 피로균열의 발생원인은 개단면부에서의 전단변형에 의한 응력증가 및 차량의 이동에 따른 교번응력의 발생에 기인하는 것으로 조사되었으며, 국부구조상세에 대한 피로설계에서는 구조상세의 거동특성이 충분히 반영된 상세해석에 근거한 설계를 실시하는 것이 중요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구는 등분포 압축을 받는 비대칭 연단보강된 직교이방성 개방단면 구조용 부재의 탄성국부좌괄에 대한 이론적 연구의 결과이다. 비대칭 연단보강재는 비틀림강성을 무시한 보요소로 간주하였다. 플랜지판의 일부와 플랜지의 연단에 부착된 판으로 구성된 비대칭 연단보강재에 대한 이론적 해석 모델을 제시하였으며, 이 결과로부터 얻어지는 비대칭 연단보강재 단면의 도심을 지나는 축에 대한 단면2차모멘트를 계산하였다. 유도된 식을 사용하여 비대칭 연단보강된 직교이방성 I형 압축재의 국부좌굴계수를 구하였으며 그 결과를 그래프로 제시하였다.

  • In this note, we consider a curved tube with varying cross-section formed by rotating open bounded Euclidean domains with respect to a reference curve, and successfully give a lower bound to the threshold of the Laplacian on the tube, subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions on the surface and Neumann conditions at the ends of the tube. This generalizes the corresponding result in [1].
