EQUIVARIANT HOMOTOPY EQUIVALENCES AND A FORGETFUL MAP

  • We consider the forgetful map from the group of equivariant self equivalences to the group of non-equivariant self equivalences. A sufficient condition for this forgetful map being a monomorphism is obtained. Several examples are given.

ABSOLUTELY PURE REPRESENTATIONS OF QUIVERS

  • In the current paper we study absolutely pure representations of quivers. Then over some nice quivers including linear quivers some sufficient conditions guaranteeing a representation to be absolutely pure is characterized. Furthermore some relations between atness and absolute purity is investigated. Finally it is shown that the absolutely pure covering of representations of linear quivers (including $A^-_{\infty}$, $A^+_{\infty}$ and $A^{\infty}_{\infty}$) by R-modules whenever R is a coherent ring exists.

  • In this paper, a skew polynomial ring $R[x;\alpha]$ of a ring R with a monomorphism $\alpha$ are investigated as follows: For a reduced ring R, assume that $\alpha(P){\subseteq}P$ for any minimal prime ideal P in R. Then (i) $R[x;\alpha]$ is a reduced ring, (ii) a ring R is Baer(resp. quasi-Baer, p.q.-Baer, a p.p.-ring) if and only if the skew polynomial ring $R[x;\alpha]$ is Baer(resp. quasi-Baer, p.q.-Baer, a p.p.-ring).

  • Atanassov introduced another fuzzy object, called intu- itionistic fuzzy set as a generalization of the concept of fuzzy subset. The aim of this paper is the elaboration of a representation theory of involutive interval-valued Łukasiewicz-Moisil algebras by using the notion of intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

  • Let R be a ring and M an R-module. Then M is said to be regular w-flat provided that the natural homomorphism I ⊗R M → R ⊗R M is a w-monomorphism for any regular ideal I. We distinguish regular w-flat modules from regular flat modules and w-flat modules by idealization constructions. Then we give some characterizations of total quotient rings and Prüfer v-multiplication rings (PvMRs for short) utilizing the homological properties of regular w-flat modules.

  • A right R-module N is called pseudo semisimple-M-injective if for any monomorphism from every semisimple submodule of M to N, can be extended to a homomorphism from M to N. In this paper, we study some properties of pseudo semisimple-injective modules. Moreover, some results of pseudo semisimple-injective modules over formal triangular matrix rings are obtained.

  • RFLP법에 의한 누에품종의 계통분류를 목적으로 유용 probe의 선발 실험을 행하여, 얻어진 2개의 probe SP1-13, SP1-28과 외부에서 분양 받은 probe10-42를 사용하여 22개 현 장려 누에품종과 멧누에 대한 DNA 다형성을 조사하였다. 조사결과 이들 probe들 중 SP1-28에서 품종간의 다형성을 나타내는 수종의 band가 검출되었고, SP1-13 에서도 다형성을 보이는 소수의 band가 인정되었으나, 10-42으로부터는 모든 품종에서 monomorphic한 한개의 band만이 검출되었다.

MODULES SATISFYING CERTAIN CHAIN CONDITIONS AND THEIR ENDOMORPHISMS

  • In this paper, we characterize w-Noetherian modules in terms of polynomial modules and w-Nagata modules. Then it is shown that for a finite type w-module M, every w-epimorphism of M onto itself is an isomorphism. We also define and study the concepts of w-Artinian modules and w-simple modules. By using these concepts, it is shown that for a w-Artinian module M, every w-monomorphism of M onto itself is an isomorphism and that for a w-simple module M, $End_RM$ is a division ring.

PURE INJECTIVE REPRESENTATIONS OF QUIVERS

  • Let R be a ring and $\mathcal{Q}$ be a quiver. In this paper we give another definition of purity in the category of quiver representations. Under such definition we prove that the class of all pure injective representations of $\mathcal{Q}$ by R-modules is preenveloping. In case $\mathcal{Q}$ is a left rooted semi-co-barren quiver and R is left Noetherian, we show that every cotorsion flat representation of $\mathcal{Q}$ is pure injective. If, furthermore, R is $n$-perfect and $\mathcal{F}$ is a flat representation $\mathcal{Q}$, then the pure injective dimension of $\mathcal{F}$ is at most $n$.
