  • We investigate a history of reseahches of a nonlinear elliptic equation with jumping nonlinearity, under Dirichlet boundary condition. The investigation will be focussed on the researches by topological methods. We also add recent researches, relations between multiplicity of solutions and source terms of tile equation when the nonlinearity crosses two eigenvalues and the source term is generated by three eigenfunctions.

  • The aim of this work is to determine the quasi-static thermal stresses of an infinitely long circular cylinder having constant initial temperature under steady-state field. The arbitrary heat flux is applied on the lower surface and the upper surface of the cylinder is at initial temperature. The fixed circular edge is thermally insulated. The results are obtained in series form in terms of Bessel's functions. These have been computed numerically and illustrated graphically.

  • A new class of univalent holomorphic functions with fixed finitely many coefficients based on Generalized fractional derivative are introduced. Also some important properties of this class such as coefficient bounds, convex combination, extreme points, Radii of starlikeness and convexity are investigated.

  • Depending upon the nature of the problem, different divergence measures are suitable. So it is always desirable to develop a new divergence measure. In the present work, new information divergence measure, which is exponential in nature, is introduced and characterized. Bounds of this new measure are obtained in terms of various symmetric and non- symmetric measures together with numerical verification by using two discrete distributions: Binomial and Poisson. Fuzzy information measure and Useful information measure corresponding to new exponential divergence measure are also introduced.

  • Infinity is very important concept in mathematics. In history of mathematics, potential infinity concept conflicts with actual infinity concept for a long time. It is reason that actual infinity concept causes difficulty in our perceptions. This phenomenon is called epistemological obstacle by Brousseau. So, in this paper, we examine the infinity in terms of mathematical didactics. First, we examine the history of development of infinity and reveal the similarity between the history of debate about infinity and episternological obstacle of students. Next, we investigate obstacle of students about infinity and the contents of curriculum which treat the infinity Finally, we suggest the methods for overcoming obstacle in learning of infinity concept.

  • The notion of fuzzy closure filters is introduced and discussed in an MS-algebra. In particular, we characterize the prime fuzzy closure filters in terms of boosters. Some relationship between the lattice of fuzzy closure filters and the fuzzy ideal lattice of boosters are explored and investigated.

  • The helicoidal surface is a generalization of rotation surface in a Minkowski space. We study helicoidal surfaces in a Minkowski 3-space in terms of their Gauss map and provide some examples of new classes of helicoidal surfaces with constant mean curvature in a Minkowski 3-space.

  • Let $P(z)={\limits\sum_{j=0}^{n}}a_jz^j$ be a polynomial of degree n and Re $a_j={\alpha}_j$, Im $a_j=B_j$. In this paper, we have obtained a zero-free region for polynomials in terms of ${\alpha}_j$ and ${\beta}_j$ and also obtain the bound for number of zeros that can lie in a prescribed region.

  • In this paper, we characterize the Seifert matrices of $p$-periodic links whose quotients are 2-bridge links $C(2,n_1,-2,n_2,{\cdots},n_r,(-2)^r)$ and give formulas for the signatures and determinants of the 3-periodic links of these kind in terms of $n_1$, $n_2$, ${\cdots}$, $n_r$.

  • We study properties concerning approximation of fuzzy-number-valued functions by fuzzy B-spline series. Error bounds in approximation by fuzzy B-spine series are obtained in terms of the modulus of continuity. Particularly simple error bounds are obtained for fuzzy splines of Schoenberg type. We compare fuzzy B-spline series with existing fuzzy concepts of splines.
