  • In mathematics, the education of the geometry proof has been playing an important role in promoting the ability for logical thinking by means of developing the deductive reasoning. However, despite of those importance mentioned above, considering the present condition for the education of the geometry proof in middle schools, it is still found that most of classes are led mainly by teachers, operating the cramming system of eduction, and students in those classes have many difficulties in learning the geometry proof course. Accordingly this thesis suggests the other method that is distinguished from previous proof educations. The thesis of Kai-Lin Yang and Fou-Lai Lin on 'A Model of Reading Comprehension of Geometry Proof (RCGP)', which was published in 2007, have various practical examples based on the model. After composing classes based on those examples and instructing the geometry proof, found out a problem. And then advance a new teaching model that amendment and supplementation However, it is considered to have limitation because subjects were minority and classes were operated by man-to-man method. Hopefully, the method of proof education will be more developed through performing more active researches on this in the nearest future.

  • We carried out mathematics diagnostic tests for all first year engineering students at C University in Daejeon in 2008, covering precalculus and basic calculus. Then we divided into two classes such as regular and supplementary classes. The supplementary class students are lower 13% students. Then we gave extra classes for these students to support their basic and elementary calculus skills. As a result, these supplementary students received a meaningful accomplishment at the final exam. This paper analyzes the results and effects of various types of supplementary classes such as education by level, and proposes some strategies to enhance mathematics learning, particularly for under achieving first year engineering students.

  • Let ${\wp}_1$, ${\wp}_2$ be the radical classes of rings. Y. Lee and R. E. Propes have defined their sum by ${\wp}_1+{\wp}_2=\{R{\in}{\omega}:{\wp}_1(R)+{\wp}_2(R)=R\}$. They have shown that ${\wp}_1+{\wp}_2$ is not a radical class in general. In this paper, a few results of Lee and Propes are generalized and also new conditions are investigated under which this sum becomes a radical class.

  • In recent years, several interesting families of generating functions for various classes of hypergeometric functions were investigated systematically. In the present paper, we introduce a new family of extended Wright type hypergeometric function and obtain several classes of generating relations for this extended Wright type hypergeometric function.

  • We consider an M/G/1 queueing system with multiple priority classes of jobs. Considered preemptive rules are the preemptive-resume preemptive-repeat-identical, and preemptive-repeat-different policies. These three preemptive rules will be analyzed in parallel. The key idea of analysis is based on the consideration of a busy period as composite of delay cycle. As results we present the exact Laplace-Stieltjecs(L.S) transforms of residence time and completion time in the system.

  • In this paper we establish a counting method for the Green classes of the Birget-rhodes expansion of finite groups. As an application of the results, we derive explicit enumeration formulas for the Green classes for finite groups of order pq and a finite cyclic group of order $p^m$, where p and q are arbitrary given distinct prime numbers.

  • In this paper, we construct new classes from the idea of [6, Theorem 2.1] and show that the property of operators belonging to the classes is inherited by certain dilations. And we also prove that the existence of common noncyclic vectors for certain families is equivalent to the existence of infinite dimensional common semi-invariant subspace of operators.

  • Using total time on test transform (TTT), a new approach is taken for testing exponentiality versus the unknown age, exponential better than equilibrium life in convex ordering (EBELC). Selected critical values are tabulated for sample size n =2(2)50 and powers of the test are estimated for some commonly used distributions in reliability. Finally real example is presented to illustrate the theoretical results.

  • In this paper, the authors introduce new classes of p-valent functions defined by Dziok-Srivastava linear operator and the multiplier transformation and study their properties by using certain first order differential subordination and superordination. Also certain inclusion relations are established and an integral transform is discussed.

  • In this paper, we study a module which is lifting and supplemented relative to a module class. Let R be a ring, and let X be a class of R-modules. We will define X-lifting modules and X-supplemented modules. Several properties of these modules are proved. We also obtain results for the case of specific classes of modules.
