  • Interface problem here refers to a second order elliptic problem with a discontinuous coefficient for the second order derivatives. For the corresponding boundary value problem, the maximum principle still holds but Hopf's boundary point lemma may fail. We will give an optimal power type estimate that replaces Hopf's lemma at those boundary points, where this coefficient jumps.

  • The Bailey lemma has been a powerful tool in the discovery of identities of Rogers-Ramanujan type and also ordinary and basic hyper-geometric series identities. The mechanism of Bailey lemma has also led to the concepts of Bailey pair and Bailey chain. In the present work certain new WP-Bailey pairs have been established. We also have deduced a number of basic hypergeometric series identities as an application of new WP-Bailey pairs.

  • In this paper, we introduce new pseudomonotonicity and proper quasimonotonicity with respect to a given function, and show some existence results for strong implicit vector variational inequalities by considering new generalized Minty's lemma. Our results generalize and extend some results in [1].

  • In this paper, the author defines a new generalized ${\eta}$, ${\delta}$, ${\alpha}$)-pseudomonotone mapping and considers the equivalence of Stampacchia-type vector variational-like inequality problems and Minty-type vector variational-like inequality problems for generalized (${\eta}$, ${\delta}$, ${\alpha}$)-pseudomonotone mappings in Banach spaces, called the generalized vector Minty's lemma.

  • We use a weaker version of the celebrated Newton-Kantorovich theorem [3] reported by us in [1] to find solutions of discrete dynamical systems involving operators with chaotic behavior. Our results are obtained by extending the application of the shadowing lemma [4], and are given under the same computational cost as before [4]-[6].

  • In this paper, first we introduce the new class of HV-BE-algebra as a generalization of a (hyper) BE-algebra and prove some basic results and present several examples. Then, we construct the HV-BE-algebra associated to a BE-algebra (namely BL-BE-algebra) based on "Begins lemma" and investigate it.

  • Schwarz lemma at the non-smooth boundary point for holomorphic self-map on the intersection of two balls in ℂ2 is obtained. At the complex tangent point in the corner of the boundary of the domain, the tangential eigenvalue of the complex Jacobian of the holomorphic map is estimated if the map is transversal.
