University teacher education programs have sought for ways of how to improve student teaching in order to supply mathematics teachers with practical theory to achieve the goals of the current educational reform in school mathematics. In this context, the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of student teachers' teaching experience in the after-school mathematics programs and the ways of how to develop the after-school learning programs as an effective site for learning to teach based on the inquiry into student teachers' own teaching experience. For the purpose, data were collected through the interviews with the student teachers who had taught after-school mathematics class. In addition, data were collected through survey, class observation, and seminal meetings with the student teachers in order to supplement the findings from the interview analysis. Data analysis focused on the student teachers' experience with teaching in after-school mathematics classes, that is, what and how they had learned as teachers, what kinds of difficulties they encountered in their teaching and supports that they expect to improve their learning through teaching. The analysis shows that the teaching experience in the after-school programs had positively contributed to their development as future mathematics teachers. Specifically, the after-school programs provide the site for learning through teaching at the early stage of teacher education program. The after-school programs provided the students teachers for the opportunity to participate peripherally in educational practice of school. Through the participation, the student teachers developed positive attitudes toward teaching career and became to have more solid ideas about how to teach mathematics. Based on the analysis, this research provides following suggestions concerning how to improve student teaching. First, it is necessary to provide student teachers to participate into the practice of teaching at the early stage of teacher education programs. Second, it is important to give students teacher opportunity to participate in teaching at peripheral and legitimate positions. Finally, it is necessary to construct mentoring networks to support student teachers to move from a peripheral position toward a center of teaching practice.

The purpose of this study is (1)to develop the teaching plan based on Cooperative Learning approach and (2)to investigate the effect of students'Interest on Subject matter and Teaching method and Attitudes to others of the area of Foreign food in Home Economics class. Among those various types of Cooperative Learning's models, this study adopted 'Learning Together'developed by Johnsons. To investigate these purpose, subject matter were analyzed and reconstructed for Cooperative Learning. The tests were developed to evaluate the interest on the Subject matter and teaching methods, and the attitude to others of the students. 108 femail high school students were divided into two groups with 54 students-traditional learning condition, Cooperative Learning condition-and had a 5 session. The subject of the class was Foreign food including Western, Chinese, and Japanes food. Before and after the class, students were tested. The statistical methods used for the study methods used for the study were t-test. The research findings are as follows : When the students in the Cooperative Learning classes were compared before and after the test, (1)Interest on Subject matter were improved considerably(p〈.001) (2)Interest on Teaching methods were improved considerably(p〈.05) (3)Attitude to Others were improved considerably(p〈.001) Therefore when the teaching-learning model based on Cooperative Liarning was used in Home Economics class, their interest on the subject and teaching methods and attitude to others were improved.

The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental background to improve the quality of teaching and learning performance in online classes by analyzing the students' learning experience aspects on online environment. This study explores the relationship between learning experience and teaching and learning performance according to the online classes types(synchronous/asynchronous class), and identifies the mediation effect of students' perception and attitude toward online classes using Structural Equations Model(SEM). The findings are shown as follows: First, learning experience has positive effect on teaching and learning performance statistically. Second, learning experience has different effect on teaching and learning performance depending on the type of online classes. Specifically, learning experience in synchronous environment has higher influence on teaching and learning performance than in asynchronous environment. On the other hand, perception and attitude toward online classes have greater influence on teaching and learning performance in asynchronous class than in synchronous class. Lastly, the students' perception and attitude toward online classes do not have mediation effects significantly in the relationship between learning experience and teaching and learning performance. The result of this study can be a guide for researcher to approach to teaching and learning performance in online environment of university.

In this paper I present the teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning style which teachers can apply it to their class on condition that learning style can classify their students' preferences about learning strategies and methods. Recent related researches that prove the differences about student's specific abilities based on their learning styles could never help teachers design and do their teaching of programming in the class. Therefore this study about teaching strategies and methods of programming education will be necessarily. I propose the teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning styles as a results of questionnaire to some professors of computer science education in university. Then, I design and do programming education in the experimental class in order to verify the availability of the proposed teaching strategies and methods. After teaching in class, I evaluate the statistical results of students' achievement test of programming. This study has some restrictions about small number of class and periods of teaching programming, but it will be a good case study about teaching strategies and methods of programming education based on the learning style.

The goal of women's health education can be defined as improvement of the quality of their life during entire life cycle. In Korean society, women's well-being is very important to themselves as well as their families, communities. and country. Thus it is important to systematize information on women's health education. These systematized information can be used in preparation of coming 21st century called information era. Unfortunately there have been few studies in women's health education research in Korea especially distance education for women's health related with korean socio-cultural background, etc. Distance education has been internationally used in a variety of settings as a means of providing health education information. The objective of this study was to apply and evaluate a multimedia videoconferencing on women's health distance teaching-learning process. In this study I'd like to design multimedia digital educational material used in the distance teaching-learning process for women's health, and to practice a multimedia videoconferencing on women's health distance teaching-learning processs. The procedures of this study were summarized as follows ; 1. Analysis of subjects' characteristics and education contents and for women's health. 2. Design of a multimedia videoconferencing on women's health distance teaching-learning process. 3. Development of women's health distance teaching-1earning process. 4. Evaluation of developed digital multimedia and distance teaching-learning process related with women's health These results will be used in development of the distance-learning education program for improving Korean women's health. Findings su99est that the advanced methodologies for designing and evaluating the women's health distance teaching-learning programs be obtained through the collaboration with other field's staffs.

This study expects that Team Based Project Learning can act positive role to improve pre-service elementary teachers' teaching competence from previous studies. So designing and executing Team Based Project Learning program, I can provide some suggestions to the teaching method for teacher training education. In this study, Team Based Project Learning focuses on the use of history of mathematics in school mathematics. Also from organizing the team to evaluation, I conduct team activity systematically both inside and outside the classroom. The result of this study shows that pre-service elementary teachers' teaching competence has improved and I could identify the positive response about the value of using the history of mathematics and effect of Team Based Project Learning in mathematics learning.

As the direction of education in the fourth industry in the 21st century, convergence talent education that emphasizes the connection and convergence between core competency-based education and academia is emerging to foster creative talent. The purpose of this paper is to present the criteria for evaluating the competency of learning outcomes in order to develop a strategic model for innovation in engineering teaching-learning. In this paper, as a study to establish the direction of implementation of convergence talent education, a creative innovation teaching method support system was established to improve the quality of convergence talent education. Firstly, a plan to develop a teaching-learning model based on computing thinking. Secondly, it presented the development of a teaching-learning model based on linkage and convergence learning. Thirdly, we would like to present educational appropriateness and ease based on convergence learning in connection with curriculum improvement strategies based on computing thinking skills. Finally, we would like to present a strategic model development plan for innovation in engineering teaching-learning that applies the convergence talent education program.

The purpose of this paper is to discuss about the use of technology in teaching-learning school mathematics. In this paper, we study the theoretical background of teaching-learning school mathematics by the use of technology. For the purpose of successful use of technology in teaching-learning school mathematics, we research the present states of it appeared in textbooks of high school mathematics And we give suggestions for the effective use of technology in teaching-learning school mathematics. Furthermore, we introduce models for teaching-learning school mathematics in areas of mathematics by the use of computer programs such as GSP, Maple, and GrafEq.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to survey the needs of Oriental Medical students about the existing teaching methods and to investigate satisfaction of new teaching & learning method on the Oriental medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology Class. Methods : 1. The needs of Oriental medicine whole students(475 persons) were surveyed with questioning paper. 2. Oriental medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology were studied by new paradigm teaching method with 116 students(3rd grade, school of Oriental medicine). 3. The satisfaction of school lesson of Oriental medicine 3rd grade students(106 persons) were surveyed with questioning paper before & after applying new paradigm teaching method. Results : 1. 43% students did not know well the purpose of lessons. 2. 46.7% students answered the curriculum has a large quantity. Conclusions : 1. Students want to study with various teaching & learning methods on school lessons. 2. 72.6% students were replied the problem based learning is effective to make a diagnosis and treatment of patients in the future. 3. 58.5% students take a part positively in the conduct of Team based learning study. 4. Team based learning was effective to the interaction with professor and students.

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the actual state of teaching and learning methods which are applied to the vocation inquiry section-related subjects of the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT) by the teachers who teach specialized subjects of vocational high schools. In order for us to get the background and feature of establishment in the area of vocation inquiry section of the CSAT, previous studies and literature was analyzed and sample survey on the 600 teachers who teach the vocation inquiry section-related subjects was made. The result of this survey is as shown below; First, the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section-related subjects understand that theory and practice is in the ratio 60.76:39.24 and ratio of theory is higher than that of practice. Second, teaching and learning method which is the most relevant to the vocation inquiry section is in the order of lecture(83.9%), experiment & practice(50.4%), computerized learning(41.1%). Third, teaching and learning method which is the most used by the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section-related subjects is in the order of lecture(85.8%), computerized learning(50.1%), experiment and practice(44.4%). Forth, the most desirable teaching and learning method which the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section for this subject believe is in the order of lecture(62.7%) experience & practice(47.7%), computerized learning(44.4%). In light of this result, even though there were not so much difference among the teaching-learning methods which are the most consistent with the contents of the subject in relation to the vocation inquiry section, the most used teaching-learning method by the teachers who teach vocation inquiry section-related subjects and the most desirable teaching-learning method which the teachers who are in charge of vocation inquiry section believe, the most used teaching-learning method by the teachers who are in charge of the vocation inquiry section is lecture. Therefore, it is necessary for us to reinforce the contents in relation to the practice & experiment so that the experience and application can be accumulated and improved through practice which is the specialty of the course of the study in the vocational high school and various teaching and learning method should be developed in consideration of contents of the subject, capability & quality of the learners and status of a classroom.
