This paper suggests easy stabilization methods for linear time-varying systems with delay in the state. While existing methods employ the function space concept, the methods introduced in this paper transform the delay systems into the non-delay systems so that the well known methods for finite dimensional systems can be utilized. Particularly the intervalwise predictor is introduced and shown to satisfy an ordinary system. Control laws stabilizing the non-delay systems satisfied by this predictor will be shown to at least pointwise stabilize the delay systems with the additional strong possibility of true stabilization. In order to combine two steps of the predictor method, first transformation and then stabilization, an intervalwise regulator problem is suggested whose optimal control laws incorporate the intervalwise predictor as an integral part and also at least pointwise stabilize the delay systems. Since the above mentioned methods render the periodic feedback gains for time invariant systems the pointwise predictor and regulator are introduced in order to obtain the constant feedback gains, with additional stability properties. The control laws given in this paper are perhaps simplest and easiest to implement.
The purpose of this study is first to analyze domestic laws and systems related to independent living of child discharged from out-of-home care, second to conduct and analyze a survey on current status of child discharged from out-of-home care, and third to present plans for improvement of laws and systems to promote independent living of child discharged from out-of-home care. In this study, first, laws and systems related to independent living of child discharged from out-of-home care in Korea were analyzed. Second, a survey was conducted on the status of child discharged from out-of-home care, and the results were analyzed. With cooperation of Korea Child Welfare Association, Korea Child and Youth Group Home Council, and the Central Foster Support Center, a survey was conducted on 251 children discharged from out-of-home care, and the results were analyzed. Third, plans for improvement of laws and systems to promote independent living of child discharged from out-of-home care were presented.
In presented paper there were studied some properties of Benford's law. The existence of this law in not necessary large sets of numbers is a very interesting example that can show how the complex phenomena can appear in the positional number systems. Such systems seem to be very simple and intuitive and help us proceed with numbers. However, their simplicity in the case of usage in our lifetime is not necessary connected with the simplicity in the case of laws that govern them. Even if this laws indicate the existence of self-similar properties.

This paper presents an HILS(Hardware in the Loop Simulations) based experimental study for the UAV's flight trajectory planning/generation algorithms and guidance/control laws. For the various mission that is loaded on each waypoint, proper trajectory planning and generation algorithms are applied to achieve best performances. Specially, the 'smoothing path' generation and the 'tangent orbit path' guidance laws are presented for the smooth path transitions and in-circle loitering mission, respectively. For the control laws that can minimize the effects of side wind, side slip angle($\beta$) feedback to the rudder scheme is implemented. Finally, being implemented on real hardwares, all the proposed algorithms are validated with integrations of hardware and software altogether via HILS.

In this paper, we present some results on weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of fuzzy random variables taking values in the space of normal and upper-semicontinuous fuzzy sets with compact support in a separable real Banach space. First, we give weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of strong-compactly uniformly integrable fuzzy random variables. Then, we consider the case that the weighted averages of expectations of fuzzy random variables converge. Finally, weak laws of large numbers for weighted sums of strongly tight or identically distributed fuzzy random variables are obtained as corollaries.

This paper proposes an adaptive fuzzy control scheme for a class of continuous-time nonlinear dynamic systems for which an explicit linear parameterization of the uncertainty is either unknown or impossible. In order to improve robustness under approximation errors and disturbances the proposed scheme includes deadzone in adaptation laws which varies its size adaptively. The assumption of known bounds on the approximation errors and disturbances is not required since those are estimated using adaptation laws. The overall adaptive scheme is proven to guarantee uniform ultimate boundedness in the Lyapunov sense.

The continuous evolution and proliferation of computer technology and our increasing dependence on computer technology have created a new class of threats: "cyber threats." These threats can be defined as activities that can undermine a society's ability to maintain internal or external order while using information technology. Cyber threats can be mainly divided into two categories, namely cyber-terrorism and cyber-warfare. A variety of malware programs are often used as a primary weapon in these cyber threats. A significant amount of research work has been published covering different aspects of cyber threats, their countermeasures, and the policy-making for cyber laws. This article aims to review the research conducted in various important aspects of cyber threats and provides synthesized information regarding the fundamentals of cyber threats; discusses the countermeasures for such threats; provides relevant details of high-profile cyber-attacks; discusses the developments in global policy-making for cyber laws, and lastly presents promising future directions in this area.

Then 3D printing is used practically at construction sites, there is a serious lack of studies on the conflict with construction-related laws and expected operational problems. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to present obstacles and directions for improvement in construction-related laws (Building Act, Construction Technology Promotion Act, Housing Act, Construction Machinery Management Act, etc.) for practical operation of 3D printing. The important results are as follows. Amending existing construction-related laws for 3D printing is irrational and inefficient in terms of structure and material. This study proposed a method of satisfying performance required by laws or standards based on the performance design method presented in existing laws and systems through structure and material performance certification procedure. In addition, inclusion of 3D printing equipment in the Construction Machinery Management Act results in various restrictions such as equipment inspection and certification of machine parts. As such restrictions can block vitalization of 3D printing, a long-term and step-wise approach was suggested.
Recently, the demand for high precision and large stroke in linear positioning systems is increasing in industry. A coarse-fine position control system composed of a linear motor and a piezoelectric actuator has such characteristics. Many optimal control laws have been applied to the position control of coarse-fine actuators but most of them did not take account into constraints. In this study, model predictive control (MPC) method with constraints is applied to the position control of the coarse-fine actuator and the performance of MPC is compared with those of conventional control laws.
In adaptive neuro-control, neural networks are used to approximate the unknown plant nonlinearities. Until now, most of the papers in the field of controller design fur nonlinear system using neural networks considers the affine system with fixed number of neurons. This paper considers nonaffne nonlinear systems and dynamic variation of the number of neurons. Control laws and adaptive laws for weights are established so that the whole system is stable in the sense of Lyapunov.
