지식자기효능감이 종업원의 지식공유의도에 미치는 영향: 개인성과기대 및 과업성과기대의 매개효과 검증 (The effect of knowledge self-efficacy on employee's knowledge sharing intention: Analysis of mediating effects of personal outcome expectation and performance-related outcome expectation)

  • Despite the organizational benefits of knowledge sharing among employees, many workers are reluctant to share their knowledge with their colleagues. Most organizations have taken a lot of actions to facilitate knowledge sharing among employees, including developing reward systems, enhancing social networks and interpersonal relationships and crafting organizational cultures that support knowledge sharing. To date, however, earlier studies have demonstrated that knowledge doesn't flow easily when an organization makes a concerted effort to facilitate knowledge sharing. The issue whether or not employees are motivated to share their knowledge with others is definitely the main concern in knowledge sharing. The purpose of this study is to explore the conditions under which employees are inclined to share knowledge with other members. Specifically, we examine the effect of knowledge self-efficacy on knowledge sharing intention. In addition, we attempt to investigate medicating effects of personal outcome expectation and performance-related outcome expectation on the relationship between knowledge self-efficacy and knowledge sharing intention. To test the proposed hypotheses in our study, we collected data via a survey with a sample of 210 employees in 23 firms in Korea. The major findings of the empirical research are as follows: 1) knowledge self-efficacy was positively related with knowledge sharing intention. 2) personal outcome expectation has turned out to have a mediation effect on the relationship between knowledge self-efficacy and knowledge sharing intention. 3) performance-related outcome expectation also mediates the relationship between knowledge self-efficacy and knowledge sharing intention That is, this result indicates that knowledge self-efficacy has indirect effect on knowledge sharing intention through personal outcome expectation and performance-related outcome expectation. Based on these findings, implications of the research findings and recommendation for future research are discussed.

대학생의 기능성 소재에 대한 지식과 기대수준에 따른 행동의도 차이 (Effects of Consumer Knowledge and Expectation of Functional Materials for Apparel on University Students' Behavioral Intention)

  • The objectives of this study were to investigate university students' knowledge and expectation of functional materials for apparel and to examine how the knowledge and expectations affect their behavioral intention. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted. 500 questionnaires were distributed to the students and 409 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis and ANOVA, using SPSS 12.0 package. As the results, it showed that the knowledge related to functional materials for apparel was medium level. Brand knowledge among the objective knowledge of functional materials for apparel revealed to have a lower level than the knowledge of clothing materials, product, use and wash & care. The level of self-evaluation knowledge among subjective knowledge appeared to be lower than the one of experience related knowledge. As the correlation coefficient of objective knowledge and subjective knowledge was low, it was thought that both of them must be considered in studying on consumer knowledge. It showed that the university students' expectation of functional materials for apparel was composed of physiological and physical aspects, social and psychological aspects, and practical and aesthetic aspects. The expectation was revealed to be generally high. However, the level of expectation to the practical and aesthetic aspects was lower than those of other aspects. University students' knowledge and expectation were found to have influence on their behavioral intention. In other words, it showed that the higher university students' knowledge level and expectation level were, the bigger behavioral intention was.

학습기대와 지식공유 지각이 사용자 만족과 지속사용에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Learning Expectation and Perceived Knowledge Sharing on User Satisfaction and IS Continuance)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of learning expectation and perceived knowledge sharing on user satisfaction and IS continuance in the Korean Army which is currently using the Regiments' Information System to help their Integrated Administration Management. Based on both the Information System(IS) Continuance Model and IS Success Model, this study also examine the role of system quality on user satisfaction. We develop a research model(structural equation model) and its hypotheses that learning expectation, perceived knowledge sharing, and system quality increase users' satisfaction, which leads to IS continuance. The effect of learning expectation on perceived knowledge sharing is also hypothesized. Design/methodology/approach Online Survey using e-mails was administered to test our research model and associated hypotheses. Among the 360 e-mail letters including our survey questionnaire, 285 responses were collected via e-mails. Meaningful 225 cases were analyzed for our study. SPSS Statistics 24.0 and SmartPLS 3.0 were used to analyze both measuremant test and hyotheses test by using the data set. Findings Survey results show that learning expectation(confirmation variable), learning expectation, perceived knowledge sharing(a perceived usefulness variable), and system quality(a system characteristic) each increases user satisfaction, which leads to IS continuance, under the control of the effect of habit to use information systems. Learning expectation also has a positive influence on perceived knowledge sharing. Theoretical and practical implications are presented.

  • Customers' evaluation of Website with satisfaction is critical in electroniccommerce. Previous research has studied in a distinct approach; especially IT oriented constructs-perceived usefulness, easy of use and marketing oriented constructs-product, shopping experience, service quality. Despite those important previous studies regarding the usage and the purchase of goods and services, how consumers are satisfied and why consumers leave Web sites without purchasing have not been extensively researched. This study explored those determinants of consumer satisfaction with Web site using expectation-disconfirmation theory (EDT). The present paper extends the range of EDT from antecedents of expectation to consequence of satisfaction. The result suggests that experience and familiarity has an impact on expectation as well as perceived performance and satisfaction. Second, higher expectation makes a negative impact on disconfirmation of expectation. Third, positive disconfirmation of expectation makes a positive impact on satisfaction. Forth. satisfaction produces loyalty and repurchasing intention. Finally, loyal customer has stronger intention to repurchase than satisfied customer.

Students' Perceptions and Expectation Gap on the Skills and Knowledge of Accounting Graduates

  • This study aims to describe the perceptions of accounting students and expectations of employers towards the skills and knowledge needed by accounting graduates in Indonesia. Quantitative method using survey is employed to analyze 103 questionnaires from students and 51 questionnaires from employers. The results showed that students' perceived honesty, continuous learning, and work ethics are important skills, while employers stress the importance of work ethics, teamwork, and time management. Knowledge needed by accounting graduates in the perception of students includes financial accounting, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis, whereas employers perceived the importance of financial statement analysis, knowledge of Microsoft Office program, and financial accounting. Further analysis showed that there is an expectation gap between the perceptions of students and the expectations of employers towards skills - not knowledge - needed by accounting graduates. Although investigations of students' perceptions and employers' expectations have been conducted in previous studies, the information should be updated continuously to reflect the current conditions. This study offers the recent perceptions from students and employers to identify the current expectation gap. This study points to the importance of skills development in the university curriculum in order to develop the skillful human resources in accounting and meet the expectations of employers.

간호대학생의 강점인식과 진로적응성 : 결과기대의 매개효과 (Mediating Effect of Outcome Expectation in the Relationship between Strengths Knowledge and Career Adaptability of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 강점인식과 진로적응성과의 관계에서 결과기대의 매개효과를 규명하여, 간호대학생의 진로적응성을 증진시키기 위한 교육프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제시하고자 수행되었다. 연구대상은 G광역시와 J도에 소재한 대학교 3곳의 간호대학생 284명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 26.0프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석 및 Baron과 Kenny의 3단계 매개 회귀분석을 이용하였고, Sobel test로 검증하였다. 진로적응성은 강점인식(r=.61, p<.001) 및 결과기대(r=.55, p<.001)와 정적 상관관계를 강점인식은 결과기대(r=.41, p<.001)와 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 결과기대는 강점인식과 진로적응성 사이에서 부분매개효과를 나타냈으며(Z=3.85, p<.001), 강점인식 수준이 높을수록(𝛽=.44, p<.001), 결과기대가 높을수록(𝛽=.33, p<.001), 진로적응성 수준이 높아지며, 진로적응성을 설명하는 설명력은 50%이었다. 간호대학생의 진로적응성 증진을 위해서는 개인에 대한 긍정적 사고로 강점을 인식하도록 할 뿐 아니라 바람직한 결과기대 형성을 위한 태도를 동시에 증진시킬 필요가 있음을 시사한다.

병원간호사의 당뇨병고위험군 지식, 교육수행과 기대 (Hospital Nurses' Pre-diabetes Knowledge, Performance and Expectation of Patient Education)

  • Purpose: This study attempted to describe hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge, performance and expectation of patient. Methods: The total of 204 hospital nurses were administered the questionnaires. The questionnaire comprises general background information (including sex, age, religion, education and career), ten researcher-generated questions regarding knowledge about pre-diabetes, performance of patient education (including how many people encounter in workplace, how often teaching, how many minutes required to teach and course contents) and expectation (including need improvement of teaching, barrier to education and desirable course contents and teaching methods) Results: The average score of hospital nurses' pre-diabetes knowledge was as low as 0.82 (82% correctness). On comparison of the knowledge levels among ten pre-diabetes knowledge dimensions, the highest score was 0.95 for necessary of medical check-up. The lowest score was 0.57 for complication can rarely happen. Significant correlations were observed for education, career and knowledge regarding pre-diabetes. Moreover, 49.5% of the nurses did not instruct patients about pre-diabetes, 24.5% taught prevention skills to a third of the pre-diabetes patients they encountered, and 61.2% nurses disseminated information under 5 minutes. Improvement was necessary for 78 nurses (75.8%). Conclusion: Pre-diabetes awareness among nurses is necessary.

일지역 초등학교 학부모의 학교보건사업에 대한 기대 (Expectation about school health program of primary school parents in a region)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the expectation about school health program of primary school parents as an important variable for growth of school health program fore area locked primary school parents 631 by self-administered questionnaire between June 20 and September 29, 2001 The results were as follows 1. General characteristic of the Subjects Age rates of the subjects were 45.5% on 35~39 years old and 34.7% over 40 years old. Economic status were middle level 86%, participation rates of school health education for parent were 16.8%, recognition rates on significance of school health education were 89.9%. 2. Health knowledge of parents The mean score on health knowledge of the subjects was 6.8 from a total of 10. there was a statistically significant difference with regard to health knowledge among the 7school(F=3.46, p=.016). 3. Health behavior of parents The mean score on health behaviors of the subjects was 77.3 from a total of 100. there was no statistically difference in health behavior among the school. 4. The expectation about school health program of the parents The mean score on the expectation about school health program of the subjects was 51.1 from a total of 140. there was a statistically significant difference with regard to the expe ctation about school health program among the school(F=3.75, p=.010). 5. Health behaviors and the expectation about school health program from sociod emogr aphic Backgrounds of the Subjects. In the backgrounds of the subjects, the score on health behavior was higher the mothers(t=2.89,p=.004), the upper class(F=7.38, p=.000), the higher participation level of school health education of parent(F=7.38, p=.000) and the higher recognition level on significance of school health education of parent(F=9.94, p=.000). The score on the expectation about school health program was higher the lower recognition level on significance of school, health education of parent and on the expectation about health screening & preventive services was significant difference by age. however, the difference was not significant in the others.

조직 구성원의 지식공유 활동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting the Activities of Knowledge-Sharing in Organization)

  • 본 연구는 조직 구성원의 지식공유 활동에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 여러 선행연구에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 개인적 성과기대, 업무-기술 적합성, 보상, 공유된 비전, 지식공유의 유용성, 최고경영자 지원, 조직문화, 조직몰입, KMS 자기효능 등을 각각 도출하였으며, 이들의 영향력 관계를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 업무-기술 적합성과 지각된 보상 그리고 지식공유의 유용성이 지식공유 활동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 요인이라는 점을 확인할 수 있었으며, 개인적 성과기대와 공유된 비전의 직접적인 영향력은 확인하지 못하였다. 그러나 개인적 성과기대는 업무-기술 적합성을 경유한 간접적인 효과가, 공유된 비전은 지식공유의 유용성을 경유한 간접적인 효과가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었다. 조직적 특성으로 설정한 최고경영자 지원과 조직문화, 개인적 특성으로 설정한 조직몰입과 KMS 자기효능 역시 지식공유 활동 촉진요인을 경유하여 간접적으로 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과들은 기업내 조직구성원의 지식공유 활동의 활성화를 위한 기업 전략 수립과정에 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Effects of User Expectation on Independent Visual Background Efficacy

  • Prior to the Independent Visual Background(IVB) luminance control experiment, we studied that IVB could reduce the simulator sickness depending on subject's knowledge about the IVB (expectation group) or non-IVB (no expectation group). As results of experiments from 12 subjects, expectation group's RSSQ scores were similar, no matter IVB was present or not. However, non-expectation group's RSSQ scores were lower when the IVB were present. The result from this experiment confirms the findings of Duh (2001), that an IVB may alleviate SS. However this effect was found only at the expectation group. Failure to replicate Duh's results could be due to several factors, such as individual differences in response to the IVB and the low number of subjects (n=6) in the no expectation group.
