The Impacts of Work Environment on the Job Satisfaction among the Landscape Architecture Workers in South Korea (조경분야 종사자들의 직무환경이 직무만족에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this study was to empirical understanding on the impact of work environment on the job satisfaction among the landscape architecture workers through conduct survey. The results was found that the affecting factors of environment in landscape architecture workers were work environment, personal relationship, and job compensation on jab satisfaction, but were not affected between workload and job satisfaction (p<0.05). And this implied that personal relationship in job environment factors was critical factor to decide the levels of job satisfaction (${\beta}$ value 0.233) across the landscape architecture workers. The results guessed the factor that workload among the job satisfaction is or is not statistical significant in many research were because it depends on whether the task is passively recognized or positive recognized according to the job recognition situation. The results was guessed the fact that the affecting factors of the workload among the job satisfaction of landscape architecture workers is not statistical significant were because they have their works cut out for them, makes worthwhile if they thinks that were meaningful and feel have been growing capabilities and recognized that there is a social contribution, and feel the great sense of accomplishment of self-development and self-realization nevertheless they have much their's works.

Development of an Optimal Cutting Condition Decision System by Neural Network (신경망을 이용한 최적절삭조건부여 시스템 개발)

  • In most machining companies, operators decide the cutting condition, a pair of spindle speed (5) and table federate (F) by experience and subjective judgment. As cutting conditions are determined by operators' experience and ability, inconsistent cutting conditions are given in same operating conditions. The objective of this study is to develop the cutting condition decision system which utilizes shop data and predicts tool life by neural network and eventually leads to the optimal cutting condition. The production time per piece is considered for an optimization object. We will discuss the process of an optimal cutting condition decision by neural network. By this process, a series of shop data is stored. And neural network is constructed for prediction of tool life and the optimal cutting condition is recommended from a cutting condition decision system using the stored shop data. The results show that the developed system is rational in searching the optimal cutting conditions on job operations.

  • This study intend to make easy modification, even if there is a new job or structure change, by modularizing program and computerize and automation of production control management used in CIM. under the condition where manager control production on the job-site, for increasing connection with other operation and management on the computer by monitoring center computer, recognizing information by computer is needed, it is possible by converting transaction. So this study goal is to make delivery control and order control fast and accurate by finding dynamic history of machine and production information in enterprise without input production and quality information by themselves with quality information system. So production increase and quality improvement are possible by diminishing manager's and producer's work with the result of the study combining POP and CIM, after that, in e-business and m-business period that every enterprise must pass, customer satisfaction and sales promotion are possible with employee's computerizing minds. these study result also can knowledge process condition with theoretical class and have a power in finding a solution with foundation of theoretical knowledge.

  • This study deals with human reaction speed according to human Physical conditions (head width, breast width, arm extent etc). According to this study, the thickness and extent factor do not affect to human reaction speed, but width factor (head width, breast width). The result of this study can be used to find fitter person for a special job such as emergency condition job, sports man (because you can find a person having a good talent for it before the test). Also, the result of this study can be applied to make CNT (Channel Noise Time) clear The word of CNT is to explain the relation between Channel Noise and Time. (Channel Noise is a kind of noise in the human information transmission channel.).

A Study on the Correlation among Occupational Stress, Depression, Health-Related Behavior and Type A Behavior Patterns of Male Workers at a Steel Factory (철강회사 남성 근로자의 직무스트레스, 우울, 건강관련 행위, A형 성격과의 관련성)

  • Purpose: This study investigates the relationship between job stress, depression, health-related behavior and type A behavior patterns among male workers at a steel factory. Methods: The study was done on 171 male workers, using the structured questionnaire. The data were collected in April, 2009 and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The results showed that 65.5% of workers were under moderate stress, 25.7% high stress and 0.6% extremely high stress. The overall score of these workers' occupational stress was 41.9, lower than the Korean workers' average. Occupational stress was correlated with depression, type A behavior patterns, a very poor physical condition without sufficient sleep. Conclusion: Stress management program is strongly needed for these subjects working over 45 hours a week, with a very poor subjective physical condition, insufficient sleep, type A behavior patterns and signs of severe depression. Further longitudinal study is recommended to show the effect of such worker's stress management program to mitigate job-related stress.

  • As modern society has been progressed, the demolition method of concrete structure that satisfy the condition of safety, economic efficiency, and environment-friendliness is required. This study investigated problems of existing demolition methods and developed modified method minimizing cooling water and sludge for demolition job. It was also verified the validity of this method based on the finite element methods. A analysis parameters as a number, depth and size of boring, and self weight were introduced for this study, and gave optimal condition for the demolition job and analysis.

A study on the Perceived symptoms of Fatigue of dental Technicians (치과기공사의 자각피로도에 관한 연구조사)

  • The study was made to clarify the degree of fatigue of dental technicians in service at the general &local hospital or the dental laboratories in the large cith of korea. The objectives of this study were 235 dental technicians who replied the questionaire which was sent by postal service out of 600 dental technicians selected by random sampling among the workers of the each dental laboratory. The instruments used in this study was the same one as developed by Industry Fatigue committee of Japan Industry Hygiene Association. This instrument was included total 30 items which is consisted of 10 perceived symptoms of fatigue in physical, mental and neuro-sensory dimension respectably. Reliability was tasted with the data of objectives, in which value of Cronbach's $\alpha$ was 9457. The following results were obtained. 1. It was revealed that the influencing demographic variables on the perceived symptoms of fatigue of dental technicians were sex, age, marital status, educational background, job carrier, working part, working hour and commuting hour. The shorted the age or job carrier, thge higher dearee of the perceived symptoms of fatigue. The longer working hours of commuting hours, the higher degree of the perceived symptoms of fatigue. The degree of the perceived symptoms of fatigue in females, unmarried person, the one with higher educational background, workers except orthodontic appliances and poorcelain contouring were higher than the other group. 2. The higher degree of the rest & leisure condition, the lower degree of the physical, mental and neuro-sensory perceived symptoms. 3. The higher degree of environmental condition of the working, the lower degree of the physical, mental and neurosensory perceived symptoms.

Effects of Exercise Intensity on Hand Steadiness (운동 강도가 손 안정성에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is aimed to investigate the association between anaerobic-aerobic exercise intensity and hand steadiness. Hand steadiness is the decisive contributor to affecting the job performance just as in the rifle shooting and archery in sports and the microscope-related jobs requiring hand steadiness in industries. In anaerobic exercise condition hand steadiness is measured through hand steadiness tester having 9 different diameter holes after each subject exerts 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of maximum back strength. In aerobic exercise occasion it is evaluated at each time heart rate reaches 115%, 130%, and 145% of reference heart rate measured in no task condition after they do jumping jack. The results indicate that an increased intensity in both types of exercise reduces hand steadiness, but hand steadiness at 25% of maximum back strength and 115% of reference heart rate is rather greater than at no exercise. Just as the relation between cognitive stress and job performance has upside-down U form, so does the association of physical loading to hand steadiness, which means that a little exercise tends to improve hand steadiness in comparison with no exercise.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of educational environment on job on the educational satisfaction and recommendation toward the educational service among the students who are major in cooking and confectionery bakery in Busan area. In addition, current student conducted to perform the moderating effect of part-time condition. In order to achieve the purpose of current study total 299 students of 2-year college students were employed and it was educational statistically analysed using SPSS 20.0 program. Three-step hierarchical regression analysis was employed to check whether the major part-time job experience had a moderating impact or not. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between the educational environment and educational satisfaction, and the adjustment effect was partially adopted in the educational environment. Eurthermore, the part-time condition has positive influence on the relationship between environmental element and educational1 satisfaction, so the moderating effect was verified. These results will be contributed to provide marketing strategy to improve the educational environment service for students as well as related foodservice industry.

  • A nurse is give much weight in the professions of hospital.The effective achievement of a goal of hospital organization needs to get nurses to contribute the structure positively through the rational personnel management of the nurses.The operation of performance rating system is necessary to improve because the nurses hold negative opinions about the resonable management of that system in most Korean hospitals.Therefore, the prupose of this research was to suggest an efficient method to solve the problem in connection with the management of nurses performance rating system.The results of the study are summarized as follows.1. As the performance rating implies the evaluation of employee's functional accomplishment and ability, and essential condition of the job was surveyed according to the job analysis of nursing activities and nurse position.That is to say, Nusrses' performances and capability is estimated in comparision with the condition of the job. 2. It is required adequacy for evaluation factors in performance rating.That is, $\circled1$ as for those who work in psychiatry or newborn baby room they should be appraied in terms of different factors from those applicable to whom work in a general staffs. $\circled2$ Evaluation factors should be concrete so that the quality and quantity of work and the potential ability of them can be correctly appraised. 3. In order to realize the object of perfamance rating system, the training on chief nurses are quite important. Also, careful practices and continuous supplementary training are required before the system is introduced.First of all, the appropriate evaluation can be mad by continuing to record the rating objects every day for the purpose of obtaining the objectivity of rating. 4. In course of transfering of the position and training, the induction of self-rating system and presentation of self-description is required to supplement functionally the performance rating system. 5. For the efficiency of nurses' performance rating system, the results of performance rating system must be reflected in promotion, allocation and training course, which makes the nurses have the motives and the organization accomplish the goal of modern nursing through its activation.
