This study's fundamental purpose is to examine the personality factors of business school faculty members in job satisfaction and job performance. Results show the significant impact of multicultural faculty members' job performance in a diverse environment in the Business schools of Karachi. The data is collected through the multi questionnaires from the various teaching, non-teaching staff, and students of private business schools of Karachi in Pakistan. The data has been tested through the Jamovi-by-medmod, and the regression model is to scrutinize and find the effect dependent variables to mediation. Simultaneously, results are calculated by mediation estimates and path estimates through the medmod technic and regression test from data. It provides a comprehensive insight into various factors such as personality traits, self-efficiency, Psychological diversity climate, self-esteem, and human resource management practices. These are the primary evaluated factors that affect multicultural faculty members' job satisfaction and job performance. However, results show a positive relationship between diversity climate and job performance, which mediates by job satisfaction. Similarly, personality traits show a positive relationship with job performance that mediates by job satisfaction. Correspondingly, self-esteem spectacles are a positive inter-relationship with job performance which is mediated by job satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to find out job description and necessary abilities for Consumer Affairs Department Service in business. This study was done using survey by mail to the representatives in Consumer Affairs Department in business. 354 representatives were used for the sample. The business was selected 32 among 107 in OCAP(Organization of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business), from September 25 to October 5, 2000. The results were analyzed from 96 representatives, 23 business. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The degree of importance and participation on the job description in Customer Service Department was analyzed. The most important job was related to consulting. Consumer management and information collect & provision were next important job in consumer affairs. 2. When the degree of participation on the job description compared to the degree of importance, we found that the general level of participation on the job was a little lower than the degree of importance on the job. Especially, the biggest difference was found in the formation of focusing customer. The smallest difference was found in the field of consulting. 3. The most necessary ability for the representative of consumer affairs department in business was responsibility and sincerity, communication skill. The big difference of present ability and necessary ability of representative was persuasive power and communication skirt.
This study is conducted to examine the relationship between salespeople's job consciousness, their competencies of practical business and their turnover intention in department stores. The data was collected from 1961 department stores salespeople in Seoul and Sungnam. And a survey was conducted by questionnaire. Mean, Scheffe-test, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Perason's correlation, factor analysis, regression analysis, path analysis are used for the analysis of data. Major findings are as follows : 1) Job consciousness of salespeople is relatively strong, the level of competencies of practical business and turnover intention are somewhat low. 2) Job consciousness of salespeople and their competencies of practical business are related to their turnover intention. The more strongly they have job consciousness, the more highly they have the level of competencies of practical business, and the lower their turnover intention becomes. 3) Among related variables, their perception of distributive education shows the strongest effect on job consciousness of salespeople. Their job consciousness shows the strongest effect on competencies of practical business. Their job consciousness and competencies of practical business show the strongest effect on turnover intention of salespeople. 4) Turnover intention of salespeople is affected by the job consciousness directly or indirectly, and by competencies of practical business directly. Among related variable, age, experience degree on distribution education, period of work, educational level, marital status, jobs, the motive of choosing their occupation and sex show only indirect effects on their turnover intention through job consciousness and competencies of practical business of salespeople. The motive of choosing their occupation, importance degree on distributive education, sections of department stores(Clothing), perception degree on job specialization and selling experience show only direct and indirect effects on their turnover intention. Thus, job consciousness and competencies of practical business of salespeople are the major intervening variables which have strong negative effects on their turnover intention.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of job enrichment and empowerment on organizational commitment. In addition, the role of work motivation and job satisfaction in mediating the influence of job enrichment and employee empowerment on organizational commitment has also been examined in this study. The sample population consists of all the employees in the regional office of DJKN Bali and Nusa Tenggara, who hold executive positions and have served the office for ≥ 4 years. This study adopts the second-order Partial Least Square (PLS) model and the Smart PLS Version 3.0 program which is used as the analysis tool. The results revealed that: job enrichment has a significant influence on organizational commitment; employee empowerment has an insignificant influence on organizational commitment; work motivation and job satisfaction partially mediate the influence of job enrichment on organizational commitment; work motivation and job satisfaction fully mediate the influence of employee empowerment on organizational commitment. The findings can be used as organizational considerations in developing policies related to job enrichment and employee empowerment, which is expected to motivate and provide satisfaction for employees and improve their organizational commitment.

This study intends to improve job performance during the Covid-19 pandemic at startup companies in Indonesia. In this study, the variables tested were job satisfaction, job innovation, Indonesian culture control, and job performance. Increasing job performance is deemed necessary in facing the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Job innovation, job satisfaction, and culture control are deemed necessary in improving job performance. The population of this study are managers of start-up companies in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java. This research data obtained by distributing questionnaires to startup managers. This is a quantitative study with primary data. The sample technique used was purposive sampling. Structural Equation Model using Partial Least Square statistical software was used to analyze data. The results of this study indicate a change in the pattern of work performed by startup companies in running their business. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, employees worked in offices for seven hours, but after this pandemic, they change work patterns, moving them to work from home. Working from home requires companies to exercise better control and leadership patterns so that employees can work comfortably.

This study investigates the job satisfaction of gig workers in Indonesia, particularly the online motorcycle taxi or ojek drivers, by looking at the influence of proactive behavior, self-efficacy, and job crafting as found in previous studies. Gig workers are classified as 'independent contractors' where some studies show that they achieve high job satisfaction through autonomy and flexibility. However, other studies show that all gig workers do not experience this condition. Location-based gig workers such as the online drivers are highly controlled by algorithm control and customer management, which makes their autonomy and flexibility questionable. The study is quantitative research by conducting a survey approach in seven main cities in Indonesia. Two hundred eighty online ojek drivers participated in this research by fulfilling questionnaires. The result shows that proactive behavior does not directly affect job satisfaction, but self-efficacy fully mediates the relationship. Job crafting has an insignificant influence on job satisfaction, and thus, this variable cannot mediate the relationship between job satisfaction and proactive behavior. The major finding of this study suggests that self-efficacy, which is their belief that they can overcome the challenges and achieve their goals, is very central to shaping job satisfaction of the online drivers.
Employee turnover and job satisfaction are the main concerns of Foodservice indusryy because of a high dependence on human resources. This study was carried out to find out the differences of job satisfaction of employees in Foodservice industry and identify the effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention by major at the college or university. In comparison of job satisfaction of employees by 3 groups of food-related majored, tourism-business majored, and other majored, there were no significant differences among groups. But in the correlation between overall and 6 factors of job satisfaction, there were all significant correlations in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees. Employees in Foodservice industry were satisfied by different demographic characteristics according to what they majored at college. Statistically significant variables that affect to the job satisfaction were gender, employment status, length of employment, monthly income, working hour per week in the food-related majored employees and employment status in the tourism-business majored employees. Finally, among job satisfaction factors, intention to quit was negatively affected by supervision in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees, but positively affected by job environment only in tourism-business majored employees.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of a cook's understanding about organizational fairness on job satisfaction and business performance at family restaurants in Seoul. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and SEM were applied to analyze the data. First, a confirmatory reliability analysis indicated that organizational fairness, job satisfaction, and business performance were sufficient to be used in this investigation. Organizational fairness, job satisfaction and business performance had generally significant relationships by implementing SEM. According to the results, distributive fairness (p< 0.001), procedural fairness (p< 0.05) and interactive fairness (p< 0.05) had positive influence on cook's job satisfaction. Job satisfaction had a positive influence on financial (p< 0.05) and non-financial performance (p< 0.001). Therefore, for the purposes of food-service companies' continuous increases in business performance and competition are generally necessary to suitably manage the fairness of various policies such as job stability, promotions, impartial distribution of salary, bonus and welfare work, and internal marketing.
Today, businesses are under rapidly changing environments that are characterized as stopless competition and uncertainty. Under this circumstance, workers are exposed to much stress that is induced by factors such as lots of job burden, responsibility, role conflicts, role ambiguity, interpersonal conflicts, pressure related to job performance and lots of job-related requests. Unlike workers of other industries, those of distribution business may be more exposed to stress because they serve in unique work conditions. Therefore, distribution workers have an accumulate fatigue of their own, suffering from health problems that are stress-induced. Distribution businesses should positively try to identify factors that fall their workers into stress, making those workers less stressful and preventing their negative job performance. Efforts to reduce workers' stress can not only improve their physical and mental health, but also raise business competitiveness. Thus the purpose of this study is to investigate how much distribution workers' job role, interpersonal relations and job environment are influential to their job stress and thereon determine relations between job stress and job performance.

SME sector's success also depends on its employees' job satisfaction as satisfied employees are likely to be more productive at the workplace and positively enhance SME business performance. Small and medium firms are the heart of the economy, and employees are the main and valuable asset for the SME firms. If SME business managers can increase employee satisfaction, then SMEs' performance will also increase in the future. Hence, the current study aims to determine the job satisfaction of SME employees by analyzing the impact of job training (JT) and promotion (PRO) opportunities on employee job satisfaction. Purposive sampling is applied in the study, and 202 SME employees have participated as sample respondents. The final sample size is n = 202. SPSS 26.0 version is used to analyze the hypotheses. The study findings show that both job training (JT) and promotion (PRO) have a positive effect on SME employee job satisfaction. It does indicate that SME managers need to provide necessary training programs and timely promotion to their current working employees to keep them satisfied with their job. Promotion and effective job training will certainly enhance employees' job satisfaction. The study has also offered a few strategic implications for SME business managers.
