  • This paper proposes a fuzzy Pr/T net representation of interval-valued fuzzy set reasoning, where fuzzy production rules are used for knowledge representation, and the belief of fuzzy production rules are represented by interval-valued fuzzy sets. The presented interval-valued fuzzy reasoning algorithm is much closer to human intuition and reasoning than other methods because this algorithm uses the proper belief evaluation functions according to fuzzy concepts in fuzzy production rules.

  • The Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) necessary optimality conditions for nonlinear differentiable programming problems are also sufficient under suitable convexity assumptions. The KKT conditions in multiobjective programming problems with interval-valued objective and constraint functions are derived in this paper. The main contribution of this paper is to obtain the Pareto optimal solutions by resorting to the sufficient optimality condition.

  • We note that Jang et al. studied closed set-valued Choquet integrals with respect to fuzzy measures. In this paper, we consider Choquet integrals of compact set-valued functions, and prove some properties of them. In particular, using compact set-valued functions instead of interval valued, we investigate characterization of compact set-valued Choquet integrals.

  • Das et al. [EJOR 117(1999) 100-112] discussed the real valued solution procedure of the multiobjective transportation problem(MOTP) where the cost coefficients of the objective functions, and the source and destination parameters have been expressed as interval values by the decision maker. In this note, we consider the interval valued solution procedure of the same problem. This problem has been transformed into a classical multiobjective transportation problem where the constraints with interval source and destination parameters have been converted into deterministic ones. Numerical examples have been provided to illustrate the solution procedure for this case.

  • In general, the fuzzy integral lacks some important properties that Lebesgue integral possesses. One of them is linearity. In this paper, we introduce fuzzy linearity in which we use the supremum and the infimum instead of additon and scalar multiplication in the expression of linearity and show that the fuzzy linearity of the seminormed fuzzy integrals of interval-valued functions when the fuzzy measure g is fuzzy additive, the continuous t-seminorm is saturated and measurable functions satisfy the condition[Max].

  • In this paper a methodology is developed to solve a nonlinear fractional programming problem, whose objective function and constraints are interval valued functions. Interval valued convex fractional programming problem is studied. This model is transformed to a general convex programming problem and relation between the original problem and the transformed problem is established. These theoretical developments are illustrated through a numerical example.

  • In this paper, we consider Choquet integrals of interval number-valued functions(simply, interval number-valued Choquet integrals). Then, we prove convergence theorem for interval number-valued Choquet integrals with respect to an autocontinuous fuzzy measure.

  • Interval-valued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set (IVNHFS) is an extension of neutrosophic set (NS) and hesitant fuzzy set (HFS), each element of which has truth membership hesitant function, indeterminacy membership hesitant function and falsity membership hesitant function and the values of these functions lie in several possible closed intervals in the real unit interval [0,1]. In contrast with NS and HFS, IVNHFS can be more flexibly used to deal with uncertain, incomplete, indeterminate, inconsistent and hesitant information. In this study, I propose the novel correlation coefficient of IVNHFSs and my paper discusses its properties. Then, based on the novel correlation coefficient, I develop an approach to deal with multi-attribute decision-making problems within the framework of IVNHFS. In the end, a practical example is used to show that the approach is reasonable and effective in dealing with decision-making problems.
