With the changes in the future educational environment, such as the rapid decline of the school-age population and the expansion of students' choice of curriculum, changes are also required in PCK, the expertise of science teachers. In other words, the categories constituting the existing 'consensus-PCK' and the characteristics of 'science PCK' are not fixed, so more categories and characteristics can be added. The purpose of this study is to explore the potential area of science PCK required to cope with changes in the future educational environment in the form of 'Family Resemblance Science PCK (Family Resemblance-PCK, hereafter)' through Wittgenstein's family resemblance approach. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with three focus groups. In the focus group in-depth interview, participants discussed how the science PCK required for science teachers in future schools in 2030-2045 will change due to changes in the future society and educational environment. Qualitative analysis was performed based on the in-depth interview, and semantic network analysis was performed on the in-depth interview text to analyze the characteristics of 'Family Resemblance-PCK' differentiated from the existing 'consensus-PCK'. In results, the characteristics of Family Resemblance-PCK, which are newly requested along with changes in role expectations of science teachers, were examined by PCK area. As a result of semantic network analysis of Family Resemblance-PCK, it was found that Family Resemblance-PCK expands its boundaries from the existing consensus-PCK, which is the starting point, and new PCK elements were added. Looking at the aspects of Family Resemblance-PCK, [AI-Convergence Knowledge-Contents-Digital], [Community-Network-Human Resources-Relationships], [Technology-Exploration-Virtual Reality-Research], [Self-Directed Learning-Collaboration-Community], etc., form a distinct network cluster, and it is expected that future science teacher expertise will be formed and strengthened around these PCK areas. Based on the research results, changes in the professionalism of science teachers in future schools and countermeasures were proposed as a conclusion.
Purpose: This phenomenological study was conducted to describe and understand the experience of vulnerable elderly individuals with diabetes by identifying the meanings and structures of the experience. Methods: The data were collected through in-depth interviews of six vulnerable elderly individuals with diabetes aged over 65 years. The interview data were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim and checked for accuracy. The Colaizzi's method of phenomenology was used to analyze the data. Results: Four theme clusters were extracted as follows: 'Life adversity', 'Adaptability to the life', 'Replacement of absence of family with social support', 'Difficulty of self-care'. Conclusion: The results provide an in-depth understanding of life experiences of vulnerable elderly individuals with diabetes. The findings will be useful to nurses caring for this population.
The purpose of this study was to investigate dietary behaviors and nutritional knowledge among immigrant women in multicultural families. In addition, this study reveals a necessity for nutrition education, which is apparent to both immigrant women living in multicultural families as well as nutrition education experts. The survey was conducted with 30 immigrant women within multicultural families in Seoul. The dietary behaviors of the women were significantly different by their period of residence. The longer they had resided in Korea, the higher their dietary behavior score. However, there was no significant difference in nutrition knowledge by their period of residence. This study also conducted in-depth personal interviews with 8 immigrant women who lived in Seoul, and with 4 nutrition education experts. These interviews were performed to provide profound insights regarding the content and means of nutrition education for immigrant women. Nutrition education for immigrant women living in multicultural families should proceed at a basic level in terms of language and content, using bilingual (Korean and their native language) education materials. Education topics and content need to be developed differently according to the level of Korean comprehension and period of residence in Korea. Also, this multicultural approach should be adapted when planning nutrition education since immigrant women have various acculturation levels, and the content and means of education should be adjusted to these acculturation levels. Management after nutrition education is necessary for immigrant women who do not have sufficient understanding of the Korean language. Practical educational methods such as real cooking practices and food purchasing simulations must be developed. Finally, the results suggest that the government needs to establish a systematic plan for nutrition education among immigrant women living in multicultural families. Policy support such as training nutrition educators on multicultural individuals residing in Korea is necessary for active and effective nutritional education.
The purpose of the study is to explore the experiences and meaning of the AP (Advanced Placement) at the specialized school for the highly gifted through the in-depth interview with 39 college students who had graduated from the specialized schools with the AP experiences. It is expected that the AP will be expanded to the students at the Science High Schools from the year of 2015, however, there has been no study to examine the realities of the AP in-depth especially through the voices of the AP participants. Students have taken 8 required and/or selective courses as AP in average. Students usually start to take AP from the second year of the specialized school for the highly gifted, but some start from the first year through the placement test. Numbers of available AP courses vary by subjects, but relatively more courses open in the areas of math and physics. Students' opinions regarding the AP were quite positive. Specifically, the high quality of the AP class and energetic interaction between student and teacher compared to the college classes were preferred by the students. However, it was controversial whether C+ is enough for the pass condition of the AP. Students were using the shortened time by AP in diverse ways, such as early graduation, double majors, exchange students, individual researches, and so on. Most of all, they tried to search for their career interests through the AP experiences. In closing, the present study provides some advices and future directions for the better AP management, including the improvement of administrative system between schools for the gifted and the universities, and the expansion of the number of university which approves the AP system.

This study was conducted to analyze the reasons for aging in place through an in-depth interview, which is a qualitative research method. The subjects of the study were 17 adults over the age of 60 years who preferred aging in place. Interviewees were asked questions about their experiences of past living, present living, and the future place where they want to live in and the reasons for their choice. In the in-depth interviews conducted from September 2012 to May 2013 for data collection the research participants were asked open-ended questions about their past living experiences and future living plan and were given the freedom to answer the questions in their own words. The results of the in-depth interviews revealed the following reasons for aging in place: 1) familiarity due to long-term residence, 2) strong attachment to the place and the neighbors, 3) satisfaction of present house, 4) personal stories associated with present house, 5) feeling of living in their own home, 6) convenience of the neighborhood for living, 7) caring relationship with the neighbors, 8) fear of a change of environment, and 9) resignation to the rest of their life. The findings indicated that residential types in old age need to be taken into account for both aging in place which referring to choosing to live where one has lived for years and referring to involuntarily staying where one has lived for years.

Currently, the number of single-person households is expected to increase steadily and become the most important form of household composition in the future. In the future, it will be analyzed based on the in-depth interview after the target selection for the target needs research. Then, after insights are gathered through in-depth interviews, we apply the applicable smart technology to create the expected scenarios and draw conclusions about how smart furniture will function in the future.
Objectives: To evaluate stress patterns and coping abilities in women with infertility by conducting in-depth interviews. Methods: Ten women with infertility who visited the Korean Medicine Hospital and provided consent after being informed of the purpose and method of the study were selected after meeting the inclusion/exclusion criteria. They were requested to complete a preliminary questionnaire developed by the researchers, the Infertility Stress Scale, and the Korean version of the Fertility Problem Inventory (FPI). Subsequently, each participant was interviewed individually. Results: The preliminary questionnaire was used to evaluate sensitivity to each type of infertility-related stress and ability to express and resolve it. Among all infertility stress types, the largest proportion, accounting for an average of 47.5±26.95%, was that felt by the patient herself. Considering stress awareness intensity, the stress felt by the patient was the highest, with an average score of 4.30±0.64. Relative stress sensitivity due to infertility was the highest, with an average score of 3.90±0.94. Compared with general work stress, the average ability to relieve stress related to problems with spouses was the highest, with a score of 2.50±1.20. The average Infertility Stress Scale score was 2.88±1.35 and FPI score was 2.87±2.52. Conclusions: The highest stress scores were observed for the following items: meaning of children, need for parenthood, and stress due to the diagnosis of infertility. The lowest stress scores were allocated to the item concerning relationships with friends and co-workers. Based on the in-depth interviews conducted after the survey, stress in women with infertility may be classified as emotional, physical, and economic. Thus, the requirement for providing appropriate psychological and emotional support depending on the stress type in addition to general medical treatment for infertility treatment was confirmed.

In this work, we investigated the perceptions of marriage among married people through in-depth interviews with twenty-two married men and women. The results of our analysis on the in-depth interviews are as follows. 1. Married men and women are well aware of the fact that. in a marriage life, one must sacrifice something in order to get anything. That is, even though they have yearning for their lost days of single life and they miss those days, on the other hand, they think that, through marriage, they feel more stable with a sense of belonging to the family. and they are no longer feeling lonely. 2. Married people consider that marriage is something you really have to experience yourself before one knows what it is like to be married. That is, they consider that, while, being single is just like tasting only a little bit of the flavor of life, marriage is like tasting the true meaning of life. The true meanings of life that married people are trying to find are "the strength they get from their family and children", "the journey of finding one's true self through overcoming hardships of life", "the joy and comfort of living together as a family", and finally "the broader life experience and higher quality of life".
