In this paper, we obtain a second main theorem for holomorphic curves and moving hyperplanes of Pⁿ(C) where the counting functions are truncated multiplicity and have different weights. As its application, we prove a uniqueness theorem for holomorphic curves of finite growth index sharing moving hyperplanes with different multiple values.

In this article, a subclass of univalent harmonic mapping is introduced by restricting its analytic part to lie in the class $S^{\delta}[{\alpha}]$, $0{\leq}{\alpha}<1$, $-{\infty}<{\delta}<{\infty}$ which has been introduced and studied by Kumar [17] (see also [20], [21], [22], [23]). Coefficient estimations, growth and distortion properties, area theorem and covering estimates of functions in the newly defined class have been established. Furthermore, we also found bound for the Bloch's constant for all functions in that family.

This paper is devoted to the existence and uniqueness of $L^p$ (p > 1) solutions for general time interval multidimensional backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs for short), where the generator g satisfies a ($p{\wedge}2$)-order weak monotonicity condition in y and a Lipschitz continuity condition in z, both non-uniformly in t. The corresponding stability theorem and comparison theorem are also proved.

A total life model was developed to assess the service life of aging aircraft. The primary focus of this paper is the development of crack growth life projection using the response surface method. Crack growth life projection is a necessary component of the total life model. The study showed that the number of load cycles N needed for a crack to propagate to a specified size can be linearly related to the geometric parameter, material, and stress level of the component considered when all the variables are transformed to logarithmic values. By the Central Limit theorem, the ln N was approximated by Gaussian distribution. This Gaussian model compared well with the histograms of the number of load cycles generated from simulated crack growth curves. The outcome of this study will aid engineers in designing their crack growth experiments to develop the stochastic crack growth models for service life assessments.

데자르그 정리와 무한원점이라는 사영기하학의 내용에 대하여, 반례의 수학사적 역할에 대한 Lakatos의 관점을 반영한 중등 영재학생용 교수단원을 개발하였다. 본 교수단원에서는 먼저 데자르그 정리의 반례를 인식하고, 이러한 반례를 제거하기 위해 무한원점을 도입하여 정리를 일반화한다. 그리고 다시 변환을 도입하여 반례가 사실 일반적인 경우와 대등한 것임을 재인식하도록 전개하였다. 이 교수단원에서 영재학생들은, 반례로 인하여 데자르그 정리라는 수학적 지식이 어떻게 변화하고 성장할 수 있는가를 경험할 수 있었다.

We extend the Paley-Wiener-Schwartz theorem to the space of ultradistributions with respect to ultradifferentiable singular support and obtain its real version. That is, we obtain the growth condition in some tubular neighborhood of n of the Fourier transform of ultradistributions of Roumieu (or Beurling) type with ultradifferentiable singular support contained in a ball centered at the origin, and its real version.

This paper deals with the study of solutions for the elliptic system with jumping nonlineartity and growth nonlinearity and Dirichlet boundary condition. We apply the two critical point theorem when proving the existence of nontrivial solutions for the elliptic system. We define the energy functional associated to the elliptic system and prove that the functional has two critical values.

This paper concerned the existence of positive solutions to the second order differential systems with strongly coupled integral boundary value conditions. By using Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem, we prove the existence of positive solutions according to the parameters under the proper nonlinear growth conditions.

We establish a vanishing theorem on the square-integrable cohomology associated to the Cauchy-Riemann complex on some complete Kaehler manifolds. The hypothesis needed for this result is a growth condition on a primitive of the Kaehler form.

In this paper we characterize the distributions with $L^p$-growth. Moreover, we give a much simpler structure theorem than already known so far.
