  • The object of the offering exposition is to study almost Ricci soliton and gradient almost Ricci soliton in 3-dimensional para-Sasakian manifolds. At first, it is shown that if (g, V, λ) be an almost Ricci soliton on a 3-dimensional para-Sasakian manifold M, then it reduces to a Ricci soliton and the soliton is expanding for λ=-2. Besides these, in this section, we prove that if V is pointwise collinear with ξ, then V is a constant multiple of ξ and the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1. Moreover, it is proved that if a 3-dimensional para-Sasakian manifold admits gradient almost Ricci soliton under certain conditions then either the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1 or it reduces to a gradient Ricci soliton. Finally, we consider an example to justify some results of our paper.

  • We characterize a three-dimensional Riemannian manifold endowed with a type of semi-symmetric metric P-connection. At first, it is proven that if the metric of such a manifold is a gradient m-quasi-Einstein metric, then either the gradient of the potential function 𝜓 is collinear with the vector field P or, λ = -(m + 2) and the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1, provided P𝜓 ≠ m. Next, it is shown that if the metric of the manifold under consideration is a gradient 𝜌-Einstein soliton, then the gradient of the potential function is collinear with the vector field P. Also, we prove that if the metric of a 3-dimensional manifold with semi-symmetric metric P-connection is a gradient 𝜔-Ricci soliton, then the manifold is of constant sectional curvature -1 and λ + 𝜇 = -2. Finally, we consider an example to verify our results.

  • The object of the present paper is to characterize Sasakian 3-manifolds admitting a gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton. It is shown that a Sasakian 3-manifold M with constant scalar curvature admitting a proper gradient Ricci-Yamabe soliton is Einstein and locally isometric to a unit sphere. Also, the potential vector field is an infinitesimal automorphism of the contact metric structure. In addition, if M is complete, then it is compact.

  • In this paper, we studied several geometrical aspects of a perfect fluid spacetime admitting a Ricci ρ-soliton and an η-Ricci ρ-soliton. Beside this, we consider the velocity vector of the perfect fluid space time as a gradient vector and obtain some Poisson equations satisfied by the potential function of the gradient solitons.

  • In this paper we consider gradient almost Ricci solitons with weak conditions on Weyl and Bach tensors. We show that a gradient almost Ricci soliton has harmonic Weyl curvature if it has fourth order divergence-free Weyl tensor, or it has divergence-free Bach tensor. Furthermore, if its Weyl tensor is radially flat, we prove such a gradient almost Ricci soliton is locally a warped product with Einstein fibers. Finally, we prove a rigidity result on compact gradient almost Ricci solitons satisfying an integral condition.

  • In this paper, we consider gradient Ricci solitons and gradient Yamabe solitons in the warped product spaces. Also we study warped product space with harmonic curvature related to gradient Ricci solitons and gradient Yamabe solitons. Consequently some theorems are generalized and we derive differential equations for a warped product space to be a gradient Ricci soliton.

  • The aim of this article is to study the k-almost Ricci soliton and k-almost gradient Ricci soliton on contact metric manifold. First, we prove that if a compact K-contact metric is a k-almost gradient Ricci soliton, then it is isometric to a unit sphere $S^{2n+1}$. Next, we extend this result on a compact k-almost Ricci soliton when the flow vector field X is contact. Finally, we study some special types of k-almost Ricci solitons where the potential vector field X is point wise collinear with the Reeb vector field ${\xi}$ of the contact metric structure.

  • Let ($M^{2n+1}$, ${\phi}$, ${\xi}$, ${\eta}$, g) be a (k, ${\mu}$)'-almost Kenmotsu manifold with k < -1 which admits a gradient Ricci almost soliton (g, f, ${\lambda}$), where ${\lambda}$ is the soliton function and f is the potential function. In this paper, it is proved that ${\lambda}$ is a constant and this implies that $M^{2n+1}$ is locally isometric to a rigid gradient Ricci soliton ${\mathbb{H}}^{n+1}(-4){\times}{\mathbb{R}}^n$, and the soliton is expanding with ${\lambda}=-4n$. Moreover, if a three dimensional Kenmotsu manifold admits a gradient Ricci almost soliton, then either it is of constant sectional curvature -1 or the potential vector field is pointwise colinear with the Reeb vector field.
