The Difference of Clothing Shopping Orientation in Internet and Offline Stores (인터넷 매장과 오프라인 매장에서의 소비자 의복 쇼핑 성향 차이에 관한 연구)

  • The study is interested in the consumer's mixed choice of the internet and the offline stores. Therefore the purpose of study is to investigate if the clothing shopping orientation of consumers varies when they shop internet and offline, instead of classifying consumers into internet shoppers and offline shoppers. For the purpose, quantitative survey was carried out using 201 questionnaires from men and women in their twenties. The data were analyzed using factor analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, Spearman's rank order correlation coefficient, t-test, and frequency analysis. The results are as following. First, the clothing shopping orientation structures of offline and internet stores were different each other. As the result of factor analysis, positive, brand oriented, economic, convenient conformity, convenient impulsive factors were extracted from offline store and rational, enjoying, goal oriented, conformity, brand oriented, convenient impulsive purchase factors were extracted from internet store respectively. Second, as the results of investigating the relationship between the clothing shopping orientation structures of offline and internet stores, positive(off)-enjoying(on), brand oriented(off)-brand oriented(on), convenient conformity(off)-conformity(on) had strong correlation s and the rest were peculiar to the each store type. Specifically, the goal oriented factor peculiar to the internet store was noticeable. Third, as the results of investigating the differences between clothing shopping orientation of offline and internet stores, the ranks of strong orientation dimension were different between two channels. As well, the mean differences were significant in goal oriented, conformity, brand oriented, and convenient impulsive purchase dimensions. This study has the significance that it investigated the variance of clothing shopping orientation according to the mixed selection trend of internet/offline.

The Correlation Between Achievement Goal Orientation and Learning Flow in Beauty Specialized High School Students:A Focus on Mediating Effects of Learning Attitude (미용특성화고등학교 학생들의 성취목표지향성과 학습몰입의 상관관계: 학습태도의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • This study aimed to analyse the mediating effects of learning attitudes in respect to the correlation between achievement goal orientation and learning flow. For the purpose, this study surveyed achievement goal orientation, learning flow and learning attitude of beauty specialized high school students located in Jeonnam with the use of a questionnaire. 335 copies of the answers were analysed with the use of the SPSS(PASW, ver 21.0). The results are presented as follows: Mastery approach of the achievement goal orientation and learning attitude had a significant effect on learning flow. It was discovered that learning attitude had a partial effect on the relations between mastery approach and learning flow, but it was reported that it had a complete mediating effect on the relations between performance avoidance and learning flow.

The Effects of Time Monitoring and Goal Orientation on Persuasion (시간 모니터링과 목표지향이 설득에 미치는 영향)

  • The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of how individuals monitor the time in their life on persuasion and the moderating role of goal orientation and types of persuasive message in the relationship between time monitoring and persuasion. By controlling participants' time horizon perspectives (THPs), an experiment using a 2 (THP: limited vs. expansive) × 3 (goal orientation: approach vs. avoidance vs. control) × 2 (message type: emotional vs. knowledge-related) between-subjects design was conducted.. Results showed that when participants with limited THP, those who oriented avoidance goals were more favorable to knowledge-related messages, whereas those who oriented approach goals preferred emotional messages. Participants with expansive THP were more persuaded by knowledge-related messages, regardless of pursuing goal types.

  • The achievement of the long-term relationship is commonly executed by a salesperson that is eventually very crucial to enhance the customer retention in the insurance industry. It indicates there is an urgency to improve the competence of salesperson and organization support to build and maintain bonds of long-lasting loyalty with the individual customers. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the influence of planner's competency and organizational support on sales performance, and to verify empirically whether MDRT goal orientation mediating role between competency, organizational support and sales performance. The results of this research are as follows: firstly, product and customer competence, digital competence, network competence positively affect sales performance. Secondly, sales support positively affect sales performance. Thirdly, meditating effect of MDRT goal orientation were significant found between the planner's competency and sales performance. Moreover, in the relationship between sales support and sales performance, MDRT goal orientation have a fully mediated effect. This means customer management through excellent competency, organization support to insurance trend change, and competence development through MDRT goal orientation positively affect sales performance.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among fashion orientation, shopping motivations, shopping flow experience, and purchases of fashion products. Two types of shopping motivations were employed in the study: goal-directed and experiential. A conceptual research model was developed using research variables and structural equational modeling was used to test hypotheses. Empirical results indicated that fashion orientation had a strong positive direct effect on both types of shopping motives. Experiential and goal-directed motivations both had significant influence on shopping flow experience by consumers. During this process the influence of experiential motivation on flow experience was stronger, which implies the importance of experiential motivation on shopping fashion products. In addition, shopping flow experience played an important role in fashion product purchasing. Results of this study suggest that retailers should take into consideration flow in the context of shopping.

Impact of Negative Feedback-seeking Behavior on Innovative Behavior: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Learning Goal Orientation Moderated by Coaching Leadership (부정피드백추구행동이 혁신행동에 미치는 영향: 코칭리더십에 의해 조절된 학습목표지향성의 매개효과 중심으로)

  • This study was conducted to derive theoretical and practical implications in situations where innovation of the business is desperate in the face of the emergence of agile organizations and digital transformation. To do so, we tried to verify the correlation between negative feedback-seeking behavior and innovative behavior and whether the learning goal orientation of these two variables has a moderated mediating effect by coaching leadership. It analyzed the collected questionnaire from 381 members working in domestic companies; SPSS 25.0, AMOS 25.0, and Process Macro 3.0 were used. The analysis result showed that the negative feedback seeking behavior had a positive effect on the learning goal orientation, and the leader's coaching leadership found to have a moderating effect between the negative feedback seeking behavior and the learning goal orientation. Learning goal orientation has been found to have a moderated mediating effect between negative feedback seeking behavior and innovative behavior. This study is significant in the sense that it reveals the process of how members seeking negative feedback in the organization could be led to innovative behavior and shows the necessity of organizational support for coaching leadership for the vitalization of innovative behavior.

Relationship of Goal Orientation, Flow Experience and Self-Accomplishment among College Students Receiving Lifeguard Education (수상인명구조 교육 참여 대학생들의 목표지향, 몰입경험 및 자아성취감에 관계된 요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of goal orientation, flow experience and self-accomplishment among students who received lifeguard education. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the task-involvement of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which was one of the sub-variables of goal orientation, had an impact on cognitive flow and behavioral flow, and ego-involvement affected cognitive flow. Second, the task-involvement of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which was one of the sub-variables of goal orientation, exercised an influence on their self-realization, display of ability and development of ability, which were the task-involvement of self-accomplishment. Besides, ego-involvement impacted on self-realization. Third, the cognitive flow and behavioral flow of the college students receiving lifeguard education, which were the sub-variables of flow experience, exerted an influence on self-realization, display of ability and development of display, which were the sub-variables of self-accomplishment. Fourth, the goal orientation of the college students receiving lifeguard education had a firsthand relationship to flow experience and self-accomplishment, and that had a secondhand causal relationship to self-accomplishment through flow experience as well.

The Prediction of Mastery-Approach Goal Orientation, Task Value, and Self-Regulated Learning Strategy on Academic Satisfaction and Achievement of Cyber Engineering University Students (사이버대학교 공학계열 학생들의 숙달접근목표지향성, 과제가치, 자기조절학습전략의 학업만족도와 학업성취도 예측력 규명)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the prediction of mastery-approach goal orientation, task value, and self-regulated learning strategy on academic satisfaction and achievement of cyber engineering university students. For this study, 219 engineering students of H cyber university who enrolled in the spring semester of 2011 was chosen and completed web surveys. A hypothetical model proposed included mastery-approach goal orientation, task value, and self-regulated learning strategy as predictors, and academic satisfaction and achievement as criteria variables. The results of this study through multiple regression analysis indicated that task value(${\beta}$=.401) and self-regulated learning strategy(${\beta}$=.401) predicted significantly on academic satisfaction. In addition, self-regulated learning strategy(${\beta}$=.301) and mastery-approach goal orientation(${\beta}$=.196) predicted significantly on academic achievement. The result of this study suggested that mastery-approach goal orientation, task value, and self-regulated learning strategy should be considered for improving academic satisfaction and achievement in cyber engineering education.

  • This study is to search an optimal model on causal relationships of the motivations to learn and motivation strategy in chemistry education. The participants in this study are consisted of G and I high schools students (487) in Gwangju. They all answered to the questionnaire. Model I is hypothesized to be path model of the mediation between 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory of intelligence' and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency of motivation strategy' by goal orientation to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. And Model II is hypothesized path model of the mediation between goal orientation and 'learning strategy and self-handicapping tendency' by 'self-efficacy, achievement need, and entity theory' to explore variables of study effecting the motivation strategy. Based on these models, structural equation modeling techniques are used to evaluate for the path model among goal orientation(learning, performance approach, and performance approach goal orientation), self-efficacy, achievement need, entity theory of intelligence, self-handicapping tendency, and learning strategy in chemistry education. As the results, Model II is considered. Goodness-of-fit indexes of this model related modification models are identified and analyzed in phases.   • This study examines the effect of goal orientation (GO) on employee' self-esteem and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Also, this paper investigates the mediating effect of employee' self-esteem and the moderating effect of leader's ethical leadership. The results of this study targeted 1,656 employees working at company and public institution were as follows: First, we found that learning goal orientation (LGO) and performance prove goal orientation (PPGO) had a positive impact on employee' self-esteem. But performance avoid goal orientation (PAGO) was not directly related to self-esteem. Second, LGO and PPGO had a positive effect on employee' OCB. But PAGO was not related to OCB. Third, the mediating role of self-esteem in the relationship between GO variables (LGO, PPGO) and OCB was statistically significant. Finally, the interaction term of employee' GO (LGO, PPGO) and leader's ethical leadership was not related to OCB, whereas the positive link between PAGO and OCB was stronger when leader's ethical leadership was high. In particular, this study presented with implications for future research, limitations of this study.
