시각장애인의 의복비 지출 현황 조사 및 타인 의존도와 행복의 관계에 미치는 자기효능의 매개효과와 장애 수용의 조절효과 검증 - 조절된 매개모형 분석 - (Clothing expenditure, and mediation effect of self-efficacy and moderating effect of disability acceptance in the association between dependency on others and happiness among visually impaired people - Moderated mediating model -)

  • There has been growing attention on the well-being of people with disabilities. The purpose of this study was twofold: (1) to investigate the associations between individuals' socio-demographic and psychological characteristics and clothing expenditure, and (2) to examine the moderated mediation effect of self-efficacy and acceptance of disability on the association between dependency on others and happiness among people with visual impairment. This study was based on secondary analysis of data from the second wave of the 6th Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled collected by the Employment Development Institute. The results of this study showed that average monthly expenditure on clothing was positively associated with self-efficacy, happiness, and acceptance of disability, while being negatively associated with dependency on others. The results also confirmed that self-efficacy mediated the association between dependency on others and happiness. A conditional direct effect of dependency on others on happiness was found, in which negative associations were significant among people with visual impairment who had low and mean levels of acceptance of disability (but not high levels). In addition, there was a significant conditional indirect effect, in which the indirect and negative effect of dependency on others on happiness via self-efficacy was significant for those with low and average levels of acceptance of disability. These findings support the importance of enhancing the independence and acceptance of disability among people with visual impairment, which ultimately contributes to their happiness.

다문화사회와 지구.지방적 시민성: 일본의 다문화공생 개념과 관련하여 (Multiculturalism and Glocal Citizenship: In Reference to Japanese Concept of 'Multicultural Coexistence')

  • 다문화사회로의 전환은 국민국가에 근거한 국가적 시민성의 개념에서 벗어나 새로운 시민성에 관한 논의를 요구하고 있다. 시민성은 개인이나 공동체 간의 관련성으로 정의되며, 또한 정체성의 개념과 상호 관련적인 것으로 이해된다. 뿐만 아니라 시민성의 개념에는 다양한 공간적 요소들, 즉 위치/이동, 장소 및 공적/사적 공간, 경계/영토, 흐름/네트워크, 층위/규모 등이 포함되어 있으며, 특히 지방적, 국가적, 지구적 층위의 다규모성을 내재하고 있다. 다문화 사회로 전환하고 있는 일본에서도 시민성에 관한 논의가 새롭게 전개되고 있다. 특히 외국인 이주자의 국가-영토적 시민성을 철저히 통제하고자 하는 중앙정부와는 달리, 지역사회 생활공간에서 이들의 복지서비스 지원과 권리 보장을 담당하는 지방정부와 지역사회단체들의 역할을 강조하기 위하여 국지적 시민성의 개념이 강조되고 있다. 그러나 이 개념은 국지적 시민성을 실질적인 것으로 간주하고 국가적 형식적 시민성 및 지구적 보편적 시민성으로부터 분리시키는 문제를 안고 있다. 이 문제의 해소를 위해, 지방적, 국가적, 지구적 시민성이 상호관련적으로 연계된 다규모적 지구 지방적 시민성의 개념을 제시한다. 지구 지방적 시민성의 개념은 학문적으로 보편성과 특수성을 변증법적으로 포용하는 세계시민주의의 새로운 견해를 가능하게 하며, 또한 현실적으로 일본의 다문화공생 정책과 담론 그리고 국지적 시민성에 관한 논의에 내재된 문제들을 해소하기 위한 방안이 될 수 있다.

한류 확산을 위한 CJ E&M의 디지털 및 글로컬 콘텐츠 전략 (The Digital & Glocal Strategy of CJ E&M for the Growth of Hallyu)

  • 문화콘텐츠 산업은 일반적으로 영화, 음악, 드라마, 디지털 사업 등으로 분류된다. 이와 같은 국내 문화콘텐츠 산업에서 CJ E&M은 1990년대 중반부터 현재까지 한류 콘텐츠의 확산을 위해 실험적인 시도를 지속적으로 추진해오고 실행해왔다. 본 연구는 이를 분석하기 위해 이론적인 배경을 토대로 사례 연구를 진행, 한류 확산을 위해 CJ E&M이 추진하고 있는 전략을 상세히 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 분석한 CJ E&M의 전략적 방향성은 크게 두 가지, 디지털 사업과 현지 제작을 기반으로 한 글로컬 콘텐츠 제작으로 구분될 수 있다. CJ E&M은 디지털 플랫폼 사업과 현지 제작을 바탕으로 한 글로컬 콘텐츠 전략을 토대로 한류 확산과 기업 성장에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 먼저, CJ E&M은 디지털 플랫폼 확장과 디지털 콘텐츠의 구축, 그리고 1인 콘텐츠 창작자에 대한 지원 등 디지털 사업 분야에서 실험적인 움직임을 선도적으로 실행해 왔다. 아울러, 해외 진출 시에는 각국의 현지 제작 인력들을 활용하여 프로그램 공동 제작을 바탕으로 한류확산과 CJ E&M의 성장을 추구해왔다. 본 연구는 CJ E&M에 관한 사례연구를 바탕으로 디지털 사업 전략과 글로컬 문화콘텐츠 제작의 우수한 성과가 한류 콘텐츠 증진과 기업의 지속적인 성과에 긍정적인 관계를 지닌다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

간호대학생의 봉사활동 참여 동기, 인성 및 대인관계의 관계 (Association between a Motivation to Volunteer, Personality, and Interpersonal Relationships in Nursing College Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between a motivation to volunteer, personality, and interpersonal relationships in nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted using self-reported questionnaires to collect data from 185 nursing students in C city from February 1 to 28, 2018. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson correlation coefficient with SPSS version 21.0. Results: The mean score were 3.18±0.54 of motivation to volunteer, 4.62±0.50 of personality, and 3.74±0.44 of interpersonal relationships. Motivation to volunteer was positively correlated with personality and interpersonal relationships. A significant positive correlation was also found between personality and interpersonal relationships. Conclusion: Based on study results, nursing students need an opportunity to understand the nature of human and respect others through participation in various volunteer activities, and to improve personality and interpersonal relationship. Nurse educators should focus on the positive benefits of volunteering for nursing students and the strategies for encougring volunteering should be incorporated into the curriculum.

맞음새 관련 요인과 의복평가기준이 의복만족도에 미치는 영향 -체형, 치수중요성, 활동중요성을 중심으로- (Effects of Fit-Related Factors and Clothing Evaluation Criteria on Clothing Satisfaction)

  • This study was explored the relationship of fit-related factors and, clothing evaluation criteria to clothing satisfaction. A total of 247 completed responses were obtained from a convenient sample of female students in their twenties. The statistical analysis methods included factor analysis, an ANOVA, and a multiple regression analysis. First, clothing evaluation criteria included practicality, product trait, and symbolism. Second, a comparison of clothing evaluation criteria and clothing satisfaction in groups divided by fit-related factors showed significant differences. In particular, the fat body type group showed higher level of the product trait and the thin body type group showed lower level of clothing satisfaction. The high activity group showed higher levels of clothing evaluation criteria and lower level of clothing satisfaction. Third, body type perception (-) and activity importance (-), fit-related factors, and practicality (+), clothing evaluation criterion had significant effects on clothing satisfaction. Therefore, These results suggest that fashion firms should make efficient use of fit-related factors and clothing evaluation criteria to enhance consumers' clothing satisfaction and to stimulate their purchase intention toward fashion goods.

Small- and Medium-sized Firms' Internationalization and Performance during a Recession

  • This study aims to verify the relationship between overseas activities and performance of Korea's SMEs during the last financial crisis. Whether overseas activity performance of enterprises differed was determined based on characteristic variables, including the degree of concentration on R&D and marketing. This study also examined how SMEs' international transactions and their performance differed based on internal variable such as the level of stock holding and firm size. This study developed a model for analyzing the relationship between the level of internationalization and performance of Koran SMEs listed in the KOSDAQ. We used firm-level data, including annual reports and various data sources such as the KISVALUE program. To smooth annual fluctuations in accounting data, we used a three-year average from 2006 to 2009 for each variable in the study. The results showed that proactive overseas activities ultimately had a positive effect on an enterprise's performance, even though it initially had a negative effect. Therefore, enterprises should focus their capacity on R&D and marketing environment. Although numerous studies have focused on the relationship between overseas activities and performance of enterprises, the present study analyzed whether enterprises should continuously engage in overseas activities and what capacities they should strengthen during a global economic recession.

시뮬레이션 통합 실습을 경험한 간호대학생의 셀프리더십, 의사소통 및 팀효능감 (Self-leadership, Communication, and Team Efficacy of Nursing Students Participated in Integrated Simulation Training)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships among self-leadership, communication and team efficacy of nursing students participating in integrated simulation training courses. Methods: Participants were 124 nursing students from the two different schools. Data were collected from December 2018 through January of 2019 and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: Self-leadership, communication and team efficacy were significantly different according to satisfaction of major, satisfaction of simulation course and satisfaction of leadership. Also significant correlations were found among self-leadership, communication and team efficacy. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that education programs based on simulation courses should be developed to promote self-leadership, communication and team efficacy of nursing students. A diverse simulation curriculum to improve the practical skills of nursing students needs to be developed.

  • Purpose - This study investigate the effect of innovative capacity on corporate export performance and moderating flexibility. Design/methodology/approach - For this, hypotheses were established by reviewing previous studies and an empirical analysis was conducted for testing. Using SPSS 22.0, a frequency analysis of related variables was conducted. Through an exploratory factor analysis, validity and reliability tests of measuring tools were conducted and a descriptive statistics was analyzed for collected data result and hypotheses testing. Findings - Finally, with a verified model, the hypotheses and the moderating effects were tested. The results are as follows; The innovationa capacities have a positive effect on export performance and flexibility However, the flexbilitiy was not moderator in the relationship between innovative capacity and export performance. Research implications or Originality - According to the results above, this study presents directions to improve export performance of technological innovative type SMEs. 노인의 노화에 대한 태도와 삶의 만족도 사이의 관계에 미치는 긍정적 신체 이미지의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Positive Body Image in the Association between Attitudes toward Aging and Life Satisfaction among Older Adults)

  • In societies emphasizing the importance of youthful appearance, attitudes toward aging are closely related to how individuals perceive their own bodies, which can be a major determinant of psychological well-being among older adults. The purpose of this study was to examine the associations between attitudes toward aging, positive body image, and life satisfaction among older Korean adults, based on relative deprivation theory and social identity theory. Employing an online survey questionnaire, data was collected from 408 Korean aged 65 and over. The proposed research model was examined via partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results revealed that higher levels of psychosocial loss were associated with lower positive body image, while higher levels of physical change and psychological growth - a good example were associated with higher positive body image. Higher levels of positive body image were associated with higher life satisfaction. Overall, positive attitudes toward aging may increase positive body image and life satisfaction among older adults, controlling for subjective financial and health status. The results of this study emphasize that we should not overlook the importance of positive body image in psychological well-being among older adults.
